London i/ˈlʌndən/ is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom. Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia. It was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km2) medieval boundaries and in 2011 had a resident population of 7,375, making it the smallest city in England. Since at least the 19th century, the term London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. The bulk of this conurbation forms Greater London, a region of England governed by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly. The conurbation also covers two English counties: the small district of the City of London and the county of Greater London. The latter constitutes the vast majority of London, though historically it was split between Middlesex (a now abolished county), Essex, Surrey, Kent and Hertfordshire.
Benjamin Emmet "Ben" Nye, Sr. (January 12, 1907 – February 9, 1986) was a renowned American makeup artist for the Hollywood film industry for over four decades, from the 1930s to the early 1980s. He worked on over five hundred 20th Century Fox films both in and out of Hollywood. Including Gone with the Wind (1939), Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), The King and I (1956), The Fly (1958), Valley of the Dolls (1967), and Planet of the Apes (1968).
His brother was actor Carroll Nye, best remembered today as Frank Kennedy, Scarlett O'Hara's second husband in Gone with the Wind (1939).
Nye officially retired in 1967 and created the Ben Nye Makeup Company, which has a distinguished reputation internationally. Nye, Sr. left his son Dana in charge of the company as CEO. Nye's son, Ben, Jr., also works in the film makeup industry.
Nye died on February 9, 1986 in Santa Monica, California, at the age of 79.

Psyopolis is an art film comprising of VJ work done in Tokyo, London and Paris, and it comprises mostly of a remix of a film I shot for Playboy TV and Skin Two in 2008. London, the capital of England, has been an important financial, educational and cultural center for centuries. This world city is filled with iconic symbols. Tower Bridge is a striking reminder of London's rapid expansion during the industrial revolution. To the west of this is the country's seat of power, the Palace of Westminster. Opposite it stands Westminster Abbey. Perhaps the most famous of all London's churches is St. Paul's Cathedral. Buckingham Palace, located on the Mall, near Trafalgar Square, is the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II. Another legacy of England's monarchy are its Royal Parks, of which there are eight. Hyde Park and Green Park provide hectares of greenery in London's center. Culture and entertainment is everywhere in London; from the Royal Albert Hal...

A survival expert with years of experience, so you can be sure that he knows what he is talking about. The main idea of the program revolves around our ancestors. Imagine, just hundred or two hundred years ago, our ancestors lived in much worse conditions than we do today. Yet, they still managed to thrive and live quite comfortable lives. Of course, their comfort cannot be compared to the level of comfort we live in today. And that’s the problem. Ray of Light is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Madonna, released on February 22, 1998 by Maverick Records. After giving birth to her first child, Lourdes, Madonna started working on the album with producers Babyface and Patrick Leonard. Following failed sessions with them, Madonna pursued a new musical direction with English producer William Orbit. The recording took place over four months, and experienced problems with the hardware Pro Tools arrangement by Orbit, which would break down, and recording would have to be delayed until they could be repaired, as well as the absence of live bands. Musically, the album is a pop and dance record that incorporates strong elements of electronic music within its composition, making it a departure from her previous work. Addit...
