Herbert "Flight Time" Lang has played for the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team for over ten years. Most recently, Flight Time appeared on The Amazing Race with his teammate, Big Easy Lofton. Nick Garner of http://www.sportstalk4kids.com recently caught up with Lang on the Harlem Globetrotters tour promoting the new four-point shot. Lang described what it's like to travel the world as a Globetrotter, to win the collegiate slam dunk contest, and how he got his nickname, Flight Time. Flight Time graduated from Centenary University in Louisiana, and since joining the Globetrotters, he has traveled to 85 countries as an Ambassador of Goodwill. Flight Time is a great entertainer who has some unbelievable basketball skills. It's pretty hard to fault a delay that, 1. Is designed and built by Yuki Hayashi, 2. Sounds as good as good as this, 3. Features uber-cool functionality along with some new twists. The FTT Flight Time delay has been worth the wait. It's the business.

• 20 secs of hold and record time.
• BPM analyser that will correct your playing to within a 20% threshold of the tapped time.
• BPM or millisecond time display.
• Tons of subdivision options.
• Delay Time Offset to pull or push your delay.
• Plenty of MIDI capability.
And point No.1: It sounds gorgeous.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and disclose something I know to be fact: Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world to live, work or play in. To live and work there is almost a privilege. For entrepreneurs like Yuki Hayashi and his dedicated Free The Tone team it's a balancing act between delivering the supreme quality they strive for and making enough profit to live, work and carry on the business. The sell price for the Flight Time is somewhat of a test for them because I know their margin is perilously low - for you. Basically, they're trying to offer a supreme product at an affordable price while still keeping their heads above water. I hope they do. They deserve to because their product is way above average.
I'm telling you this not because I want you to rush out and buy the Flight Time, but because I'm trying to convey the hurdle of economics in that part of the world. I'm pretty sure the Flight Time will be on the streets worldwide for around US$430 or so, which, considering its feature set, isn't bad at all. You decide. This one, at least, will be appearing on my next Boardom video. It will be bolted, literally, to the board.

The big 2200 mAh 3S battery gives a nice 10 mins flight time, but as you might see from the video, the plane flies much like a truck as compared to the lighter batteries. The PID settings are also for the lighter batteries, so the 2200 mAh flight has quite some wobbles in the wind. All the ligher batteries seems to give about the same 5 mins time.

• Delay Time Offset to pull or push your delay.
• Plenty of MIDI capability.
And point No.1: It sounds gorgeous.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and disclose something I know to be fact: Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world to live, work or play in. To live and work there is almost a privilege. For entrepreneurs like Yuki Hayashi and his dedicated Free The Tone team it's a balancing act between delivering the supreme quality they strive for and making enough profit to live, work and carry on the business. The sell price for the Flight Time is somewhat of a test for them because I know their margin is perilously low - for you. Basically, they're trying to offer a supreme product at an affordable price while still keeping their heads above water. I hope they do. They deserve to because their product is way above average.
I'm telling you this not because I want you to rush out and buy the Flight Time, but because I'm trying to convey the hurdle of economics in that part of the world. I'm pretty sure the Flight Time will be on the streets worldwide for around US$430 or so, which, considering its feature set, isn't bad at all. You decide. This one, at least, will be appearing on my next Boardom video. It will be bolted, literally, to the board.

Analog fixated as we can be, it’s easy to forget the days when digital technology was hailed as a triumphant savior. “Hmmph!” we said back in the ’80s as we chucked our obsolete Boss DM2s into waste bins and set to mimicking bands like Mr. Mister, both sonically and sartorially.
Many of us rethought the merits of digital (along with our personal fashion decisions) and returned to the charms of analog delays, and “digital” became a dirty word for many. But the Flight Time from Japan’s Free The Tone reminds us how much potential there is in digital delays—especially when the echo-shaping power that used to take up a rack space has been reduced to the size of a double pedal. This little pedal does a lot.
There aren’t any knobs on the Flight Time’s faceplate—most controls use small pushbuttons instead. But that doesn’t mean that programming the unit requires a voyage down a logarithmic rabbit hole. In fact, parameter adjustment is very intuitive.
The faceplate is organized in sections: The top row is home to controls like mix (labeled “delay”), feedback, and output level. The latter allows the user to add up to 3dB to a preset—handy if you want delayed solos to really pop. (If you’re shy, you can lower the volume instead). The next section contains controls for filtering and modulation and adjusting note subdivisions (from whole notes to sixteenths, with dotted and triplet options along the way). The second row controls preset banks, MIDI, delay time (which can also be set via BPM adjustment), and the master up/down and write controls. A third level has on/off switches for trail (spillover), loop controls, delay phase, and the BPM analyzer mic. The bottom left pop switch does triple duty for effect bypass, loop stop, and preset-down scrolling. The one on the right is for tap tempo, starting loops, and preset-up scrolling.

This is the production version that’s now available, and in this video Mick runs through some of the factory preset sounds, stored in positions 91 to 96, using a Gibson Derek Trucks Signature SG.
Some brief feature points on the Flight Time Digital Delay include: up to 9999ms delay (nearly 10 seconds); 99 preset positions; high- and low-pass filters; unique BPM analyser for real-time tempo matching, up to +/- 20 per cent. There’s also modulation, delay phase reversal, ‘Sound Hold’ function, record and repeat looper (up to 20 seconds of loop), continuous trails while switching presets, subdivision, up to 3dB boost on any preset, tap tempo and, of course, full MIDI controllability.

FMS T-28 Trojan V2 (800MM) PNP Maiden Flight on my Birthday
Today is my Birthday! To celebrate the occasion, last week I picked up an FMS T-28 Trojan V2 800mm PNP, a Spektrum AR400 4-channel receiver, and 2 Eflite 3S 1300mAh lipos. My LHS was also kind enough to switch out the stock 2S power lead for an EC3 connector for the 3S lipos. This is the Maiden Flight footage. (More info below...) Aside from my first plane (the venerable Hobbyzone Champ), the FMS T-28 Trojan V2 800mm is my first non-AS3X plane in my fleet and despite some of the gusting that was present at the park, this T-28 was solid and predictable. I noticed however that on take-off there was a significant amount of torque steer to the left, which I had to counteract with some right rudder. I also noticed that on hard throttle punches, the T-28 would slightly attempt to roll left... -

HMF S550 ESC Wire Trim and Flight
In this video I attempt to slightly increase flight time on my S550 Hexacopter by removing the excess wires and bullet connectors on the motor and ESC connections. The project saved nearly 100g of weight and really cleaned up the look of the arms. Overall flight time only increased slightly, but there's an obvious difference in feel and throttle at hover dropped from about 60% to right at 50%. I've also included demonstration of the Craft and Theory telemetry setup as well as my GoodLuckBuy 3-axis gimbal with Tilt control adjustment running through the Pixhawk using the UART port on the Storm32 board. My first time flying a Texan T6 Flight and first time doing aerobatics.
I flew my Cessna down to Kissimmee Florida for a few hours training on a World War II Trainer aircraft, a Texan T-6. This was my first time flying a taildragger aircraft. This plane had over 600 hp, twice what my Texas Skyways 182 had. The responsiveness of the controls were a little tricky at first, but after I got a bit used to it, also made it a blast to fly. This was a GREAT Experience! -

FLIGHT REVIEW:
The check in was somewhat slow and the check in agents were not friendly. but i managed to secure my window seat.
The boarding was smooth sailing and the cabin crew are very warm and greeted us enthusiastically. What a good impression from the start.
The inflight snack consists of a pack of coffee flavoured biscuit and a cup of mineral water. Hot meals are also available on sale. The inflight buy on board meal are conducted after distribution of snacks completed.
The seat pitch is generous (definitely not a low cost standard) and a good legroom space too.
Inflight entertainment is available on demand and uses touch screen. It was very user friendly and responsive. Unfortunately the choice of movies and TV shows were limited and some were not updated.
Overall, as a hybrid airline, Malindo Air definitely can compete with other low cost airlines as long as the maintain their competitiveness.
I would rate this flight with Malindo Air OD316:
Cabin Ambience : 9/10
Cabin crew : 9/10
Seat : 9/10
Inflight snack: 7/10

Today is my Birthday! To celebrate the occasion, last week I picked up an FMS T-28 Trojan V2 800mm PNP, a Spektrum AR400 4-channel receiver, and 2 Eflite 3S 1300mAh lipos. My LHS was also kind enough to switch out the stock 2S power lead for an EC3 connector for the 3S lipos. This is the Maiden Flight footage. (More info below...)
Aside from my first plane (the venerable Hobbyzone Champ), the FMS T-28 Trojan V2 800mm is my first non-AS3X plane in my fleet and despite some of the gusting that was present at the park, this T-28 was solid and predictable. I noticed however that on take-off there was a significant amount of torque steer to the left, which I had to counteract with some right rudder. I also noticed that on hard throttle punches, the T-28 would slightly attempt to roll left due to the amount of sudden torque.. All of these sudden little movements that I probably never noticed before since any of my AS3X-equipped planes would have most likely absorbed those outside forces. After some light trimming, this FMS V2 T-28 800mm flew great with a jet-like presence. Landings are also a non-event with the robust gears. This plane comes in on approaches beautifully! With the timer set to 5 minutes on my Spektrum DX6 transmitter, I was able to easily hit my target flight time with plenty of power on reserve for landing approaches. Voltage left on my 3S battery read 11.44 volts.
Something tells me I'll need to stop by my local hobby store again. I'm going to need more batteries. ;)

Today is my Birthday! To celebrate the occasion, last week I picked up an FMS T-28 Trojan V2 800mm PNP, a Spektrum AR400 4-channel receiver, and 2 Eflite 3S 1300mAh lipos. My LHS was also kind enough to switch out the stock 2S power lead for an EC3 connector for the 3S lipos. This is the Maiden Flight footage. (More info below...)
Aside from my first plane (the venerable Hobbyzone Champ), the FMS T-28 Trojan V2 800mm is my first non-AS3X plane in my fleet and despite some of the gusting that was present at the park, this T-28 was solid and predictable. I noticed however that on take-off there was a significant amount of torque steer to the left, which I had to counteract with some right rudder. I also noticed that on hard throttle punches, the T-28 would slightly attempt to roll left due to the amount of sudden torque.. All of these sudden little movements that I probably never noticed before since any of my AS3X-equipped planes would have most likely absorbed those outside forces. After some light trimming, this FMS V2 T-28 800mm flew great with a jet-like presence. Landings are also a non-event with the robust gears. This plane comes in on approaches beautifully! With the timer set to 5 minutes on my Spektrum DX6 transmitter, I was able to easily hit my target flight time with plenty of power on reserve for landing approaches. Voltage left on my 3S battery read 11.44 volts.
Something tells me I'll need to stop by my local hobby store again. I'm going to need more batteries. ;)

Flights & drives took place over a vacant lot near the intersection of Ellinor Ave. and Summit Dr. in Shelton WA. USA at 7:22am PDT on 04-13-16 (or, "2016 13 Apr." or even, "April 13, Twenty Stick-Very-Twirly-Stick" if you prefer).
Weather conditions at flight time were mostly cloudy, temperature of 41°F (5°C), and winds reported as being calm.

Hello guys and welcome aboard the new Philippine Airlines from Tokyo Narita to Manila Ninoy Aquino! I would like to start off by thanking everyone who commented on my previous videos giving me feedback on what you would like to see on the future full flight videos I produce and there were lots of emphasis on reviewing the cabin, onboard meals and services. This will be the first of the upcoming improved full flight videos and I do hope you enjoy it. Please do continue to comment critically on how else they can be improved as I am still experimenting with what you guys want!
Anyways regarding the new Philippine Airlines, the older Airbus A330 aircraft are progressively being replaced by this new Airbus A330HGW (High Gross Weight) which is configured to carry 414 passengers in a Premium Economy and Economy configuration. Least to say it was a very cramped cabin for a tall person like myself, and there were no personal nor overhead television making the trip rather tedious and the food... Well let`s just say I was struck by a food poisoning later that night. I am very aware that Philippine Airlines has been faced with difficult times competing against rising low cost carriers such as Cebu Pacific or Air Asia, but we must not forget that PAL is the national flag carrier of the Philippines so the overall experience was rather disappointing. Do you guys think that the cost cuts have gone too far? I`d appreciate your opinions in the comment! Anyways some more information regarding the flight:

In this video I attempt to slightly increase flight time on my S550 Hexacopter by removing the excess wires and bullet connectors on the motor and ESC connections. The project saved nearly 100g of weight and really cleaned up the look of the arms.
Overall flight time only increased slightly, but there's an obvious difference in feel and throttle at hover dropped from about 60% to right at 50%.
I've also included demonstration of the Craft and Theory telemetry setup as well as my GoodLuckBuy 3-axis gimbal with Tilt control adjustment running through the Pixhawk using the UART port on the Storm32 board.

I flew my Cessna down to Kissimmee Florida for a few hours training on a World War II Trainer aircraft, a Texan T-6. This was my first time flying a taildragger aircraft. This plane had over 600 hp, twice what my Texas Skyways 182 had. The responsiveness of the controls were a little tricky at first, but after I got a bit used to it, also made it a blast to fly.
This was a GREAT Experience!

This was just my 32 minute test flight. I flew for 32 mins and resting voltage 1 minute after flight was 22.1 volts. The awesome thing about the lithium Ion battery pack thats in this quad is i can take it down all the way to 16.8 Volts and it wont ruin my battery pack. so im estimating a Hour FPV flight will be possible. Id like to give a special thanks to chris AKA stinson87 on youtube, or Chanyote66 on rcgroups. I couldn't have built this quad without him helping me. Then Randall Huston worked out how to disable the Low voltage cut off in them and shared this info to the world on his YouTube channel, this mod gave the QRX350 a 12min flight time.

Then Walkera bought out the QRX350PRO which has a much bigger battery compartment, so I thought why not get one of these Pro Shells and put all the running gear from mine into the new shell and get a bigger battery.....So I did.
This is the best mod for the QRX350 giving me a 24min flight time on this maiden test flight. AWESOME!
