Arizona (i/ɛrɪˈzoʊnə/; /ærɪˈzoʊnə/) (Navajo: Hoozdo Hahoodzo; O'odham: Alĭ ṣonak) is a state in the southwestern region of the United States. It is also part of the Western United States and of the Mountain West states. It is the sixth largest and the 14th most populous of the 50 states. Its capital and largest city is Phoenix. Arizona is one of the Four Corners states. It has borders with New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, and Mexico, and one point in common with the southwestern corner of Colorado. Arizona's border with Mexico is 389 miles (626 km) long, on the northern border of the Mexican states of Sonora and Baja California.
Arizona is the 48th state and last of the contiguous states to be admitted to the Union, achieving statehood on February 14, 1912. It was previously part of the territory of Alta California in New Spain before being passed down to independent Mexico and later ceded to the United States after the Mexican–American War. The southernmost portion of the state was acquired in 1853 through the Gadsden Purchase.

The Verde Valley (Yavapai: Matkʼamvaha) is a valley in central Arizona in the United States of America. The Verde River runs through it. It is overlooked by Mingus Mountain and the Mogollon Rim.
The first notice of this region appears in the report of Antonio de Espejo, who visited in 1583. Little more was recorded until the commencement of prospecting for gold and silver in the 19th century.
Verde Valley was the setting for the 1977 sci-fi thriller movie Kingdom of the Spiders, starring William Shatner. The theme song for the film, "Peaceful Verde Valley," was recorded by country singer Dorsey Burnette.

Arizona, land of cowboys and Indians and Wild West towns plus, among its many natural wonders, the all pervasive colour red as displayed by the awe-inspiring rock formations of its mighty canyons.A thousand years ago the highly-cultured Anasazi and Hohokam Indians lived here, planting maize and vegetables in the meagre valleys and building walled towns into the cliffs of the canyons. They used the natural environment, protected caves in natural rock walls, which were accessible only by simple wooden ladders. In this travel video guide to Scottsdale, Arizona, I travel to Scottsdale, the so-called "Miami Beach" of Arizona. Located just to the east of Phoenix, Scottsdale is home to some of the city's best restaurants, bars, hotels and attractions. I start of my travel in Scottsdale visiting downtown, otherwise known as "Old Town," the very walkable central part of the city full of small shops and a booming restaurant scene. It is also here that the city's roots can be traced back to the original farmers and settlers that called this otherwise barren part of the desert home back in the early 1900's. I then head east into Tonto National Park to go kayaking down the Salt River with Arizona Outback Adventures (AOA), the area's premiere outdoor adventure company. Next, I visit Taliesin West, the...

The Arizona Collective is a Facebook Group of the state’s premier photographers. On a recent expedition to Marble Canyon, and Tuweep-Grand Canyon national Park, I went along and captured some footage on the trip as well as some time-lapse. Marble Canyon Marble Canyon is the section of the Colorado River canyon in northern Arizona from Lee's Ferry to the confluence with the Little Colorado River, which marks the beginning of the Grand Canyon. Lee's Ferry is a common launching point for river runners starting their journey through the Grand Canyon. Marble Canyon is also well known for the Navajo Bridge, where US Highway 89A crosses the Colorado River. Marble Canyon marks the western boundary of the Navajo Nation. In 1975, the former Marble Canyon National Monument, which followed the Color...

The Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Monument Valley in Arizona - I have been there many times but it's the first time I put all of it in a video :). I was a guide for my Romanian friends at "Around the World in 4K" team (check them here https://www.youtube.com/user/aroundtheworld4k ) when they filmed here some months ago. The music was composed specifically for this video by Allen Constantine, who is a film and games music composer (listen to his music here https://soundcloud.com/allenconstantine ). Thank you, Allen! The video and the timelapse part was done with Sony RX10 III, my usual camera. Edited in Adobe Premiere and LRTimelapse/Lightroom (for the timelapse part).
On September 11th 2015 I took the Texas Eagle Amtrak train from LA to Austin. The train passes through the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, taking nearly 33 hours to complete this leg of the journey, before continuing on up to Chicago. This short film comprises a number of clips I took from the train window, mostly in Arizona and Texas. I highly recommended seeing America this way. Though it's not the most comfortable way to travel you'll see things and meet people you rarely would travelling by car or plane. Music is 'Exit Does Not Exist' by Sun Kil Moon, taken from his album of Modest Mouse covers. A record I was listening to a lot at the time. Shot on my iPhone 6 using the Hyperlapse app (for stabilisation), edited in Premiere Pro. Full details of the train rou...
From Kayenta we head to Page. Here we will visit the Antylope Canyon. Unlike the majority of other parks, to visit dell'Antylope you need a guide. For this, we booked the tour a few months earlier. We head to the place of origin which is located in Page. Here we see a folkloric show of a Navajo Indian. We climb in trucks and head towards the Antylope Canyon. After having crossed a paved road, we exit on a dirt road where our driver makes us dance a lot '. The Antelope Canyon is a narrow canyon, but easy to cross, with dizzying interior shapes created by wind and water. The only light comes from the top and at certain times of the day gives all'arenaria a beautiful hue. And 'perhaps the most photographed sandstone canyons of northern Arizona. The bright orange and purple colors make it a un...
2.5 months away from home. Exploring the world of comedy outside of New York City. My final adventure was to climb into the Grand Canyon to see the Colorado River and sleep next to it and then climb back out. My good buddy from high school Andrew Shallcross was my guide and travel partner. The deep beaches of the canyon hold a very strange energy. You feel it when you are there listening to the birds and the rapids. You feel as if you are in nature's cathedral. It demands respect. We are all smaller than we think.

Cottonwood police chief Jody Fanning reviews the dashcam footage from a brawl in a WalMart parking lot in March, 2015. Nine suspects and eight officers were involved. One suspect was killed, and an officer was shot in the leg. The police chief reviews the video twice, outlining exactly what happened.
Video describing our stay in Cottonwood, AZ with day hikes in Sedona.
NO media coverage on this since the liberal media only wants idiots to believe that cops only shoot black people. This is an excellent example of cops putting up with a lot of danger when they could used a lot more force. In this video a cops gets stabbed and one person gets shot and dies, but that does not stop the brawl. This is a good example of what happens when cops do not have numbers and can't control a crime scene. You will notice lots of tasers being fired with little or no effect and even then it is temporary and the people tased are back in the fight. I try and point a few things that make this situation so risky for the cops and even good people walking by or watching that may not be involved. Here is what News said about this incident: https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...
