Well Ernest thanks for the donation and topic. You bring me back to the brief couple of years where I worked in a corporate office. Two of my female managers were always pushing me to have children as quickly as possible. I didn't think too much about it before but now I see them as trying to get me to have a child as quickly as possible because that would force me to work harder at my job and thus make the company more money and make them ore bonuses. Back then I thought they were interested in genuinely giving me positive guidance in my life but now I see it differently. They were shaming me for turning thirty and saying that I was getting old and that it was time for a baby all the while thinking about their Christmas bonus. But when it came time to find new clients and get down to business they were clueless. They gave me crude guidelines to follow in my training but the buck always stopped with me. Of course women make natural managers of women, especially the ones that are married. In most cases they are already good at getting their husbands to do what they want them to do so corporations would be stupid if they didn't exploit that part of human nature. Usually the relationship between a female manager in her late thirties or early forties and a man in his twenties or early thirties ends up becoming like a mother son affair. She asks him to do something, he does it and then looks to her for approval. I would call this corporate nurturing. She is nurturing the male employee like she would a child and tapping into the power that his mother has over him. It's comfortable, welcoming and feels just as innocent as when a man is a young boy looking for approval from his mom. I'm sure this is done on purpose by companies to create an emotional bond between the managers and the employees. So as a young man you're not working for a company but you're working for your mother. And since most men are trained to respect their mothers that respect just naturally gets transferred to the corporation through their female authority figures. Another way that female managers would try and entice young male recruits is to go to lunch with us in a one on one setting to make it appear like a date.
