Estar en hipnosis no es estar dormido. Uno es consciente de todo lo que sucede. ¿Lo que dice es creación de la mente?¿Placebo psicológico? ¿Sugestión? Imaginación y recuerdo son dos respuestas mentales, y la única manera de saber cuándo es lo uno o lo otro, es corroborando los datos. Y eso estaría muy bien cuando se trata de escribir un libro de historia y no de una terapia, pues sería equivalente a decir que hay que tirar a la basura todos los placebos que utilizan en los hospitales. Si el paciente está enfermo por un imaginario, un imaginario lo puede sanar.
No tomes como verdad absoluta lo que escuches o veas. Creer es bueno, pero comprender es mejor. Observa, analiza, aprende y saca tus propias conclusiones.
Cuando algo se pierde, se debe buscar donde se perdió. Hay terapias en las que sólo es necesario un diálogo para encontrar las causas de los traumas en hechos de la vida actual, y se dan ocasionalmente terapias en las que el paciente encuentra las causas en supuestas vidas pasadas.

Dutch trading posts and plantations in the Americas precede the much wider known colonisation activities of the Dutch in Asia. Whereas the first Dutch fort in Asia was built in 1600 (in present-day Indonesia), the first forts and settlements on the Essequibo river in Guyana and on the Amazon date from the 1590s. Actual colonization, with Dutch settling in the new lands, was not as common as with other European nations. Many of the Dutch settlements were lost or abandoned by the end of that century, but the Netherlands managed to retain possession of Suriname until it gained independence in 1975, as well as the former Netherlands Antilles, of which the islands remain within the Kingdom of the Netherlands today.

Antonio Sartorio (1630 – 30 December 1680) was an Italian composer active mainly in Italy and in Hamburg, Germany. He was a leading composer of operas in his native Venice in the 1660s and 1670s and was also known for composing in other genres of vocal music . Between 1665 and 1675 he spent most of his winters in Hanover, where he held the post of Kapellmeister to Duke Johann Friedrich of Brunswick-Lüneburg – returning to Venice for the summer months. In 1676 he became vice maestro di capella at San Marco in Venice.
Sartorio was the brother of composer and organist Gasparo Sartorio and architect Girolamo Sartorio who also had connections with the theatre. Beyond birth records, the first known information about Sartorio relates to the mounting of his first opera, Gl'amori infruttuosi di Pirro, at the Teatro di San Giovanni Grisostomo in Venice on 4 January 1661. His second opera, Seleuco, did not come until five years later when it was produced at the Teatro San Luca on 16 January 1666. The year before he had been appointed to the position of Kapellmeister to Duke Johann Friedrich of Brunswick-Lüneburg; just months after the duke had assumed authority over the Principality of Calenberg upon his elder brother George William's inheriting of the Principality of Lüneburg. Frederick ruled over the Calenberg subdivision of the duchy from 1665 until his death fourteen years later.

Estar en hipnosis no es estar dormido. Uno es consciente de todo lo que sucede. ¿Lo que dice es creación de la mente?¿Placebo psicológico? ¿Sugestión? Imaginación y recuerdo son dos respuestas mentales, y la única manera de saber cuándo es lo uno o lo otro, es corroborando los datos. Si el paciente está enfermo por un imaginario, un imaginario lo puede sanar.
No tomes como verdad absoluta lo que escuches o veas. Creer es bueno, pero comprender es mejor. Observa, analiza, aprende y saca tus propias conclusiones.
Cuando algo se pierde, se debe buscar donde se perdió. Hay terapias en las que sólo es necesario un diálogo para encontrar las causas de los traumas en hechos de la vida actual, y se dan ocasionalmente terapias en las que el paciente encuentra las causas en supuestas vidas pasadas.

Dutch trading posts and plantations in the Americas precede the much wider known colonisation activities of the Dutch in Asia. Whereas the first Dutch fort in Asia was built in 1600 (in present-day Indonesia), the first forts and settlements on the Essequibo river in Guyana and on the Amazon date from the 1590s. Actual colonization, with Dutch settling in the new lands, was not as common as with other European nations. Many of the Dutch settlements were lost or abandoned by the end of that century, but the Netherlands managed to retain possession of Suriname until it gained independence in 1975, as well as the former Netherlands Antilles, of which the islands remain within the Kingdom of the Netherlands today.

Alejandro Vergara, Jefe de Conservación de Pintura Flamenca y Escuelas del Norte, comenta la obra Las Tres Gracias de Pedro Pablo Rubens.
La tradición representativa de las tres gracias se remonta, tanto en la literatura como en las artes plásticas, a la antigüedad griega y romana. Las hijas de Júpiter y de Eurymone, Aglae, Eufrosina y Talía, simbolizan diferentes conceptos desde la antigüedad. Hesíodo las asoció en la Ilíada con la diosa Afrodita, convirtiéndose así en símbolo de la belleza, el amor, la fertilidad y la sexualidad. Pero también se relacionaban con la generosidad y la amistad al recibir y otorgar dones. Rubens las sitúa en un escenario, donde vemos un Cupido sujetando una cornucopia de la que sale agua y una guirnalda de flores, que actúa como telón. Al fondo se observa un paisaje con ciervos. Al centrar las figuras en el primer plano no hay ningún elemento que distraiga de su contemplación y sus cuerpos ocupan prácticamente toda la superficie.
Esta obra, fechada entre 1630-1635, muestra las calidades y cualidades técnicas del Rubens final. La pincelada es suelta, trabajando los detalles a través del color, sobre todo en las carnaciones donde vemos el grado de maestría. La piel de las diosas se contrae y se hunde al contacto de unas con otras, demostrando además un alto grado de conocimiento y deleite en el cuerpo femenino. En contraposición el paisaje del fondo y los ciervos parecen esbozados, a diferencia por ejemplo del detalle de las joyas La luz incide en los cuerpos desnudos para resaltarlos, prescindiendo de un realismo lumínico al dejar pasar la luz a través de los árboles, tanto del primer término como del fondo, mediante pinceladas sueltas.

Alejandro Vergara, Chief Curator of Flemish and Northern School Paintings comments the work The three graces of Peter Paul Rubens.
According to Hesiod’s Theogony, there were three Graces: Aglaia, which means radiance; Euphrosine, which means joy; and Thalia, which means flowering. Born of one of Zeus’s affairs, the three Graces were pure virgins who lived with the gods, served at the banquets and fostered joie de vivre. They served Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and were never bored.
Rubens depicts them beside a fountain, under a garland of flowers in a landscape. The figures are based on classical sculpture, which is visible in the artist’s effort to reproduce the coldness of marble in their flesh. The circular rhythm and elegant undulation are customary characteristics of this artist, along with the grandiloquent shapes and warm colors he brought into his painting in his final years.
The figure on the left is directly inspired by his second wife, Hélène Forment. Painted shortly after his marriage, it bears witness to the happiness of the artist’s life, which emerges in the sensuality of his paintings from that moment. This work belonged to the artist until his death in 1640 and was then acquired by Felipe IV and taken to Spain.

Here's another rescued, revived and (eventually) restored computer. This was originally a DTK Computer Peer 1630 personal computer with a 386SX-16 microprocessor on a DTK motherboard. It appears to have been built in 1991. Around 1993, someone replaced the motherboard with one having a faster Am386SX processor clocked at 40MHz. I suspect they were going for a cheap performance boost.
The Am386SX processor has all the limitations of the Intel 386SX (16MB RAM limit, 16/24 bit data/address bus, needing two external 16-bit cycles for one 32-bit operation) with a faster clock speed. Despite the "hampered" design, it still would have given somewhat improved performance.
I've found evidence that suggests the replacement motherboard was offered in various speeds. A 33MHz version also exists. Surprisingly, considering that the CPU is soldered, the clock crystal is socketed.
DTK Computer produced motherboards, various expansion cards, desktop PCs and servers from the beginnings of the PC clone era all the way up to the Pentium 4. They're still around in some capacity, though I have no idea if they still make computers or not. Interestingly, the local library has a few other DTK systems, including an early Pentium machine that is still in use at the front desk.
This computer's FCC ID number is F82-5K4PEER1630, granted in late 1989. Identifying numbers on the motherboard include TK83305P9 and TK83305P9-4N-D-02. Neither one produces too many results in a web search.
Remember: If you care about your old computers, make sure none of them have a potentially bad and leaky NiCad CMOS battery in place! Remove it before it harms your old computer. Also consider removing button cell batteries from old computers, or replacing them with new ones. Though it is a lot less likely, I have definitely seen dead or damaged button cell batteries leak and make a mess in old computers.

Alba wird vom adligen Philosophen Anassarco gerettet und unter dem Namen Rosiclea getarnt, der exilierte Oronte gelangt an den Hof des Königs Meraspe von Theben. Rosiclea wächst zu einer schönen jungen Frau heran und zieht die Aufmerksamkeit des Prinzen Florimondo von Korinth auf sich, der bei Anassarco die Philosophie studiert. Doch auch der böse Tyrann ist an Rosiclea interessiert, ohne jedoch zu wissen, dass sie Alba ist. Er lässt sie in Begleitung von Anassarco, der sich als ihr Vater ausgibt, zu sich führen.
Florimondo heiratet inzwischen Cirene, Tochter des Königs Meraspe. Eine weitere Tochter, Isifile, heiratet Oronte.

The Canvas condominium in Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District has broken ground after the developer obtained a $70 million construction loan. NR Investments, led by Nir Shoshani and Ron Gottesmann, announced they secured the financing from Bank of the Ozarks and started work on the 513-unit project.
