Warm Ethiopian hospitality is redefined onboard the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner of Ethiopian Airlines.
It is my first 787 experience and I was happy to enjoy an excellent Ethiopian Airlines experience with a team of dedicated cabin crew who (though shy at first!), were very helpful in making passengers feel comfortable onboard.
The touchscreen entertainment system was great, as it was very responsive, and offers 80 entertainment channels in Economy Class!
The meal was also very enjoyable. Cabin crew served drinks several times during the meal service to keep everyone well-hydrated. I also had a taste of freshly-brewed Ethiopian coffee onboard!
Thank you Ethiopian Airlines, for making my first experience of the 787 Dreamliner a most wonderful one!

Service experience of Ethiopian Airlines - the leading airline of the African continent, including a cockpit visit during sunrise!
It is an 8 hour and 37 minutes overnight flight from Addis Ababa to Bangkok, onboard the Boeing 767-300/ER aircraft. The cheerful cabin crew were very happy to show me how they prepare for and conduct the meal service in both Cloud Nine and Economy Class.
The highlight is the visit to the cockpit during the sunrise where I got to meet the friendly Captain and First Officer!
It was an amazing experience for me on Ethiopian Airlines and I hope you will enjoy this experience.

Ethiopian Airlines flight experience, onboard ET611 from Mumbai, India, to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
This early morning flight is operated by the Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, and a choice of omelette or vegetarian is served for breakfast. Some turbulence is encountered but overall, it was a lovely flight and I fell asleep quite soundly after the breakfast.
Enjoy the scenic views of Mumbai city during take-off and the Ethiopian landscape during descent into Addis Ababa.

Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner review onboard ET507 from São Paulo Guarulhos International Aiport (GRU) to Lomé Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport (LFW).
This red-eye flight is a scheduled service from São Paulo to Addis Ababa, with a transit stop in Lomé. Ethiopian Airlines has 5th freedom rights between São Paulo and Lomé, thus this flight provides a crucial link between South America and both West Africa and East Africa.
Passenger load in Economy Class is light on this particular day, and the journey is very comfortable. Meals served are excellent in taste. It is lovely that two hot meals are served on this sector of just over 7 hours flight time.

Ethiopian Airlines flight experience, onboard ET611 from Mumbai, India, to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This early morning flight is operated by the Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, and a choice of omelette or vegetarian is served for breakfast. Some turbulence is encountered but overall, it was a lovely flight and I fell asleep quite soundly after the breakfast. Passenger load in Economy Class is light on this particular day, and the journey is very comfortable. Meals served are excellent in taste. Warm Ethiopian hospitality is redefined onboard the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner of Ethiopian Airlines.
It is my first 787 experience and I was happy to enjoy an excellent Ethiopian Airlines experience with a team of dedicated cabin crew who (though shy at first!), were very helpful in making passengers feel comfortable onboard.
The touchscreen entertainment system was great, as it was very responsive, and offers 80 entertainment channels in Economy Class!
The meal was also very enjoyable. Cabin crew served drinks several times during the meal service to keep everyone well-hydrated. I also had a taste of freshly-brewed Ethiopian coffee onboard!
Thank you Ethiopian Airlines, for making my first experience of the 787 Dreamliner a most wonderful one!

This early morning flight is operated by the Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, and a choice of omelette or vegetarian is served for breakfast. Some turbulence is encountered but overall, it was a lovely flight and I fell asleep quite soundly after the breakfast.
Enjoy the scenic views of Mumbai city during take-off and the Ethiopian landscape during descent into Addis Ababa.

Ethiopian Airlines 787 at Los Angeles International Airport
We are going through a heat wave and including today, it was about 78 Degrees but it felt 85 when this plane landed, even though that LAX is several miles away from the beach.
I had been trying to record this Boeing 787-8 landing for several weeks now, and until today I decided to drive to Los Angeles International Airport to record this video.
I had to wake up at 4:30 in the morning, to take a quick shower, get some thing to eat, and get my coffee. And also to beat the traffic, as it usually takes me from 40 minutes to 1 hour and change with traffic.
I miss 2 Qantas Airlines planes landing. One of them was a 747, and the other one was a A380. But I did manage to get some other airplanes for the first time, and one of them was this Ethiopian Airlines 787.
Any way, Ethiopian Airlines started to fly from Addis Abada to Los Angeles International Airport, on June 20, 2015. It's not a direct flight though, it makes 1 stop in Dublin and from there it flights to Los Angeles International Airport.
I had being waiting for some body to catch this airplane on video, but since no one had. I had to make this my self, and here it is. It's another 787 airplane that has been added to the now growing 787's that fly in and out of LAX. And now this will be the Airline to use a 787. The other airlines flying this airplane are, United Airlines, American Airlines (I have not record this one yet), Norwegian Air Shuttle, LAN, and Virgin Atlantic (I have not record this one yet, either).

Ethiopian Airlines 787 at Los Angeles International Airport

Severe Turbulence -- A United Airlines 737 flight from Denver to Billings experienced a severe upset, injuring three cabin crew members and two passengers. While it isn't yet clear what caused the episode, I suspect it may have been caused by Mountain Wave turbulence, which is common this time of year in the Western US mountain states. Do you still need a reason to always stay seated with your seat belts fastened?

A Nepal Airlines Twin Otter crashed last week, killing all 18 on board. The investigation continues, but several listeners on frequency reported that the aircraft attempted to divert to Bhairahawa Airport due to icing after the aircraft had flown into freezing rain.
Severe Turbulence -- A United Airlines 737 flight from Denver to Billings experienced a severe upset, injuring three cabin crew members and two passengers. While it isn't yet clear what caused the episode, I suspect it may have been caused by Mountain Wave turbulence, which is common this time of year in the Western US mountain states. Do you still need a reason to always stay seated with your seat belts fastened?
