Kaiden. Charitable Remainder Trusts are a type of irrevocable trust that enables donors to accomplish their philanthropic goals, while gaining substantial tax and investment benefits for themselves. Donors make this happen by giving away assets to their favorite qualifying charities in an irrevocable trust, and that trust in turn, pays them an interest every year for the rest of their life or for a set term of years.
