Synopsis:
The story centers on a celebrated author’s obsession with the central character of her award winning novel HENRY. Megh (Locket Chatterjee), who is otherwise a media shy person, agrees to give an interview to Akash (a senior journalist) after winning the prestigious Kolkata Authors’ award.
In the course of the interview, Megh falls for Akash envisaging him to be Henry, the perfect man from her novel and even encourages him to engage in a sexual relationship with her which obviously he objects to as he is already in a relationship with Brishti (Puja Bose).
Eventually it is Brishti who bails Akash out of the clutches of the deranged Megh who does not even realize that it is not Akash whom she loves but is obsessed with the idea of the perfect man Henry that she has created in her novel.

Documentary which I filmed in Amsterdam of an up and coming choreographer. I took six days to film it over a period of 2-3 weeks.
It was just meeting in Amsterdam every time and just walking around and finding places that would help the story being told.
The opening shot came to be, due to the fact that I just walked up to the film theatre Tuschinski in Amsterdam and asked if I could film a small piece of the docu there. This was truely freestyle filming. Which was a blast to do.

Documentary which I filmed in Amsterdam of an up and coming choreographer. I took six days to film it over a period of 2-3 weeks.
It was just meeting in Amsterdam every time and just walking around and finding places that would help the story being told.
The opening shot came to be, due to the fact that I just walked up to the film theatre Tuschinski in Amsterdam and asked if I could film a small piece of the docu there. This was truely freestyle filming. Which was a blast to do.

JOAN LA BARBARA’s career as a composer/performer/soundartist explores the human voice as a multi-faceted instrument expanding traditional boundaries, creating works for multiple voices, chamber ensembles, music theater, orchestra and interactive technology, developing a unique vocabulary of experimental and extended vocal techniques: multiphonics, circular singing, ululation and glottal clicks that have become her "signature sounds", garnering awards in the U.S. and Europe including the 2008 Letter of Distinction from the American Music Center for her significant contributions to new American music; the 2004 Guggenheim Fellowship in Music Composition, the prestigious DAAD Artist-in-Residency in Berlin and 7 National Endowment for the Arts fellowships: Music Composition, Opera/Music Theatre, Inter-Arts, Recording (2), Solo Recitalist and Visual Arts; ISCM International Jury Award; Akustische International Competition Award; Meet The Composer and ASCAP Awards and numerous commissions for concert, theatre and radioworks.
JON GIBSON is a composer, multi-wind instrumentalist (saxophones, flutes, clarinets) and visual artist who has taken part in numerous landmark musical events over the past three and a half decades, performing in the early works of Steve Reich, Terry Riley, LaMonte Young and Philip Glass, with whom he continues to perform in various configurations, along with a host of other musicians, choreographers and artists including Merce Cunningham, Nancy Topf, Lucinda Childs, JoAnne Akalaitis, Simone Forti, Thomas Buckner, Harold Budd, David Behrman, Elizabetta Vittoni and Moacir Santos. Current projects and performances include collaborations with the Nina Winthrop Dance Company and dancers Elisabetta Vittoni and Hetty King. He is also involved with the work and legacy of Nancy Topf. Gibson recently received a grant from the New York State Council for the Arts with which he composed a music/theater piece about the inventor Nicola Tesla entitled Violet Fire. He has also received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Rockefeller Foundation, New York Foundation for the Arts, the Mary Flagler Cary Charitable Trust and Meet the Composer. His music can be heard on the New Tone, Point Music, Lovely Music, EarRational Records and Einstein Records labels and he appears on recordings by Glass, Steve Reich, Frederick Rzewski, Arthur Russell, Annea Lockwood, Peter Zummo and Robert Ashley. His visual work, which is closely related to his music, has been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the world and manifests itself in various media, including drawings, videos, books, and prints. Gibson is a graduate of San Francisco State University where he studied composition with Wayne Peterson and Henry Onderdonk.
PHILL NIBLOCK is a New York-based minimalist composer and multi-media musician and director of Experimental Intermedia, a foundation born in the flames of 1968's barricade-hopping. He has been a maverick presence on the fringes of the avant garde ever since. In the history books Niblock is the forgotten Minimalist. That's as maybe: no one ever said the history books were infallible anyway.
His influence has had more impact on younger composers such as Susan Stenger, Lois V Vierk, David First, and Glenn Branca. He's even worked with Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Lee Renaldo on "Guitar two, for four" which is actually for five guitarists. This is Minimalism in the classic sense of the word, if that makes sense. Niblock constructs big 24-track digitally-processed monolithic microtonal drones. The result is sound without melody or rhythm. Movement is slow, geologically slow. Changes are almost imperceptible, and his music has a tendency of creeping up on you. The vocal pieces are like some of Ligeti's choral works, but a little more phased. And this isn't choral work. "A Y U (as yet untitled)" is sampled from just one voice, the baritone Thomas Buckner. The results are pitch shifted and processed intense drones, one live and one studio edited. Unlike Ligeti, this isn't just for voice or hurdy gurdy. Like Stockhausen's electronic pieces, Musique Concrete, or even Fripp and Eno's No Pussyfooting, the role of the producer/composer in "Hurdy Hurry" and "A Y U" is just as important as the role of the performer. He says: "What I am doing with my music is to produce something without rhythm or melody, by using many microtones that cause movements very, very slowly." Only two days after I got to play at cinéPalace Kortrijk with my own band All We Expected, I had the chance to see Mannheim perform at the very same venue. Not only did we get a fantastic live experience, we also brought our cameras and filmed the whole thing.
After the show, Mark and Henry were so kind to sit down with us and answer a few questions. We talked about influences, about the difference between live songs and album songs and about how switching band members can affect your plans. The result of this can be seen in this video.
Mannheim will be playing at dunk!festival 2014 on Saturday the 19th of April around 1 ‘o clock in the afternoon. Be sure to make it to their show and be prepared to get blown away by their unique, demolishing sound!

William Henry discusses historical, geopolitical, and supernatural aspects of the lost Ark of the Covenant, and its possible connection to end times prophecies. The Ark is traditionally thought of as a rectangular container made by Moses to contain holy books and other items, but Henry believes it's actually a component of a larger, powerful Judgment Day device. He suggested that this device can operate as an otherworldly ascension tool, transmuting a person upon contact into a body of light, who can then travel the universe. It's really a "throne of God," which facilitates the manifestation of luminous beings that can appear on the Earth plane, he continued.
Henry contended that the Ark is not currently on Earth, but will be brought here by advanced beings who use it like a stargate. Yet, various countries such as Iran and Israel may be seeking out the Ark, he said. Israel's recent operation in Gaza was called "Operation Pillar of Cloud," which is a direct reference to the Ark, he commented. Further, the Ark was a factor in the Iraq war-- "there's no doubt that's why we wanted to stop Saddam Hussein-- this is the weapon of mass destruction," he argued. And Ayatollah Khamenei, the spiritual leader of Shi’ite Islam in Iran, believes he is divinely ordained to introduce the Islamic messiah, the Mahdi, who will recover and reveal the Ark.
In July, 2012 Khamenei told the Iranian people to prepare for Judgment Day and the imminent return of the Mahdi. Various prophecies speak of the appearance of a great sign before the Second Coming, and Henry believes the re-emergence of the Ark of the Covenant is that sign. Mani Nasry an exceptionally talented filmmaker, actor and artist with a sophisticated breadth of education, skills, experience, and professional accomplishments. He trained as an actor and director in New York with Salem Ludwig and with Donna DeMatteo for playwriting. For Mani, the decision to work in the film industry guided his academic decisions from an early age. He attended a Toronto high school renowned for excellence in the arts, and was accepted into one of the highly competitive film program at Ryerson university. It is notable that he went to Ryerson with an already well-established career in theatre, film, television and commercial work, and a range of multi-faceted achievements including producing, cinematography, casting, writing, directing, acting, and editing. On his own he added stints in New York and Los Angeles with leading acting teachers, as well as learning the grace and style of many forms of dance and athletics. With courses perceptively, he has also recognized the importance of acquiring an understanding of the business side of the industry, and the varied aspects of technology and production. There are some people clearly born to follow the path they have chosen from the start. Mani Nasry has the passion to succeed, the curiosity and ingenuity required to lead and collaborate in an industry known for its impact and appeal, and the strength of character and work ethic to immerse himself in finding and telling an unforgettable story.

A: Art is not only about money.
Whats the deal about Malga? What skills are required to get on her team?
A: She likes people I think. These kind of persona surround themselves by lots of people they find interesting in some ways. She gives space for people to be themselves.
How did u meet Malga Kubiak?
A: We met in a cult club in Warsaw Le Madame
How did u see her? What was your first impression?
A: The first time I saw her in that club on some party I thought ,what a bitch she must be, But that was before talking to her. After some conversation about the workshop I was surprised that she is very sweet person indeed.
How did it all begun?
A: Malga who just came from Sweden started organizing actor,s workshops in that club for a few of my friends. I talked to her and joined that program. It was fascinating and engaged a lot of emotions. At that time our friendship began.
What was your relation at the very start?
A:There was a lot talking about life and art, exchanging of ideas, opinions etc. Malga has very curious mind and I enjoyed spending time in her company. We used to walk in parks and discuss discuss.. She asked me sometimes to imagine some situation and act it in that public area. I liked her looks which was not typical for a Polish woman. Also I considered her a very gentle and sensitive person. I thought that she was an extraordinary person living an untypical kind of life, like someone you would meet in New York rather than Warsaw.
How come she asked u to join her team, her art work?
A:Probably she felt good about me.
What was your own situation at this point?
A:I was just doing my art, which was painting mostly at that time.
Did she train u?
A:Yes, this workshop was about that.
What was your actress experience?
A:I played in some short movies in my friends projects, mostly in Maksym Matuszewski,s ones.
What did u do on the workshop? And for how long?
A: We were practicing some behavior joining the team together, which looked like some witch rituals, some kind of putting together of energies. But mostly it was acting various emotional situations from our lives. Without Malga it was 3 of us, which made it quite an intimate story.
How come u traveled together in a very quick car trip to Paris and back?
A:Malga wanted to sing in clubs in Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris with DJ Martinez. Actually one more driver was necessary, as only one person had a driving license. But seriously I thing we just liked each other and enjoyed the company.
Did u ever hear about her before u met her?
A:No
How did u see her when u finally met?
A:Very interesting, unusual, witchy, arty..
What was this project game/girl movie about?
A:Maybe about mixing ,reality, and the imaginative world. About living fast in a community, about bands, romance, hitting the road. Like ,everything is possible,.
How was the Denmark excursion?
A:Oh it was great, summertime, an interesting project, a great group of people with a plan to spend creative time together. Malga payed our petrol bills and arranged a house on the seashore, where a lot of scenes were shot, as well as on the beach. The water was cold but pleasant, refreshing. We swam a lot in the waves, wandered at night in the forest.
Why did she ask just u?
A:I,m not sure what it means ,just you,. There were plenty of people engaged somehow in that project. There were about 11 actors, as everybody played, cameramen also and assistants. Some girl cooked us delicious dinners, and did make-up and blood effects too. It was like filming and living in a crazy community at the same time. A lot of people didn't know each other before, and then we spent over a week in the same house, acting, eating, partying, sleeping. There was some flirting actions, arguments and stuff. Which probably is unavoidable in a group of people intensively doing such a thing. There were moments of great laughter and fun and also days when some tension was hanging around.
Did u really shoot 58 scenes in 1 week?
A:Probably, I wasn't counting.

Taking cues from the wordless death-grind proto-metal of the first Obituary lp: C>D- somehow takes the fear-soaked brain of that tiny dude from the o.g. THE FLY: two micro-seconds before he gets his web-trapped body eaten by the world most gruesome spider EVER: and power-channel it thru the MOST horribly unmusical-rotten guitar speaker cones since the creation of “music.” Speaking of music: inside this LP there is none: is not just mere dribbling NOISE: its like a one dimensional terra-plane of cultural war of warbly Anime-frightmares clashing in a baby-dumping dumpster in a Baltimore/DC area alleyway during a WRETCHED static storm while the co-criminal on watch nods off on the job whilst Ipod’in The Swankys. On a Tuesday morning. In the Spring. I’ve seen pictures of this band: but someone pulled a horrid prank and replaced the bullet-belts and street punx ice grills with shorts, muffin tops and smiles. Huh? Confusion Chaos is the fighting spirit: The Lp begins with some semblance of structure and riffs but like a magician armed with 10,000,000 daisy-chained death metal pedals instead of card tricks: the cunning seems to come on too quick to warrant a double-featured extended stay, unless the members want to “Fuck More.” - Imagine if the Happy Flowers WERE Horribly Charred Infants and Anus’s and instead of LSD as the catalyst it was Grande Latte’s mixed with the magic dust from the excess of plastic off of big money Flexi-Discs and the sweat from the brow of all night nuclear sex addicts. I gotta hand it to the second full length from this amp scorched mild-mannered crew: it at least doesnt come with a tan file folder containing sharpie pictures of cookies and flowers. Not too many lp’s in the tomb that include that.... I remember reading an interview with Lotus Dan saying how “he could write a dissertation on the genius of Chaos Destroy” - while something like that could land you at LEAST a free entrance semester to Lansing Community College: im sure the “song writing” would throw a Fluxus-like brain nugget freeze to the District Manager of GUITAR CENTER East Coast Mt. Vernon for a LOOONG TIME. If you dug up the body of JIMI HENDRIX to show him the LORD-OF-THE-RINGS-ON-LEPROSY GUITAR TONE diseasing this platter: he’d more than likely think his grave-dirt ears were filled with cotton tin balls dipped in Trouma-radiation static and say “ask Clapton or that Frank dude from Lebenden Toten what he thinks...anyway this record is POGO and RETARDED...”..Thx Jimi. How this bucket-of screaming bolts screech buzz no vowel no word lp ended up on Olde English Spelling Bee is truly a brain-boiling mystery: but the world is an even more destroyed place with its mutant creation. I suggest you drill/add four more off-center holes to the label and cash in your SLURPEE POINTS for the next punk/hxc phenom: BALANCED CORE: punx will trade in the fuzz pedals and blown 8 speaker cabinets for a SUPER nice home-gym to sweat out and show off balance beams routines of the most political and intense nature EVER. You won’t get a better invitation to a real barn-yard violent party than from Chaos Destroy. For in the land of Chaos Destroy, the sound track is Dust Noise and Gai and the milk and honey is cider and glue. Nope, you’re not gonna get this from all the new records with black and white photos of dudes in fetish masks around magickal alters they got from Party City. Who the fuck would want to go to a party like that? Nope, this record is purely illogical snot from a gang who were fed battery acid out their mommas titty. The sound of synapses unfurling and language crumbling A.K.A. THE BEST PUNK BAND IN THE USA. “American history has a kind of tragic cyclical nature to it.” A thought-provoking interview with American writer Joyce Carol Oates, who ponders on how the concept of ‘devils’ has always been predominant in American society.
Oates discusses her novel ‘The Accursed’, which takes place in the early twentieth century but has clear contemporary resonances. She refers to demons and the need to demonize others, arguing that what was once called ‘devils’ was later termed ‘communists’ and now ‘terrorists’: “We have some build-in leanings towards paranoia – fear of the other – but as I say, that doesn’t have the whole story of society, because society can be educated and we can rise above that – and many people have risen above that.”
On her impressive work ethic, Oates credits her many cats, which have sometimes forced her to write for ten hours at a time: “If you try to get up, the cat puts its claws down.”
Joyce Carol Oates (b. 1938) is an award-winning American author, who has published a large number of novels, plays, novellas, short stories, poetry and nonfiction. Among her books are ‘them’ (1969), ‘Black Water’ (1992), ‘Demon and other tales’ (1996), ‘Blonde’ (2000), ‘The Falls’ (2004), ‘Black Dahlia & White Rose’ (2012) and ‘The Accursed’ (2013), which writer Stephen King described as “the world’s first postmodern Gothic novel.” She has won the National Book Award (1969), two O. Henry Awards, the National Humanities Medal (2010), the Norman Mailer Prize (2012) and many more. Three of her novels, ‘Black Water’ (1992), ‘What I Lived For’ (1994) and ‘Blonde’ (2000), have been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.
Joyce Carol Oates was interviewed by Kim Skotte at the Louisiana Literature festival at Louisiana Museum of Modern art in 2014. During the interview she reads from her novel ‘The Accursed’ (2013).

Documentary which I filmed in Amsterdam of an up and coming choreographer. I took six days to film it over a period of 2-3 weeks. It was just meeting in Amsterdam every time and just walking around and finding places that would help the story being told. The opening shot came to be, due to the fact that I just walked up to the film theatre Tuschinski in Amsterdam and asked if I could film a small piece of the docu there. Synopsis:
The story centers on a celebrated author’s obsession with the central character of her award winning novel HENRY. Megh (Locket Chatterjee), who is otherwise a media shy person, agrees to give an interview to Akash (a senior journalist) after winning the prestigious Kolkata Authors’ award.
In the course of the interview, Megh falls for Akash envisaging him to be Henry, the perfect man from her novel and even encourages him to engage in a sexual relationship with her which obviously he objects to as he is already in a relationship with Brishti (Puja Bose).
Eventually it is Brishti who bails Akash out of the clutches of the deranged Megh who does not even realize that it is not Akash whom she loves but is obsessed with the idea of the perfect man Henry that she has created in her novel.
