Bearna (anglicized as Barna) is a Gaeltacht village west of Galway city in County Galway, Ireland, on the R336 regional road. Once a satellite of Galway city, the village is now rapidly becoming one of its suburbs. Officially the village is regarded as Irish speaking and is therefore a constituent part of the regions of Ireland that make up the Gaeltacht. However, because of its absorption into the city, it has recently become a mainly English speaking village. Nonetheless, Irish is still the main language of its western and northern hinterland and the village has now effectively become the gateway to the largest Irish speaking region in the country, Connemara.
To try to control the major development which has been undertaken in recent years, a very strongly supported local action group has been set up (Pobal Bhearna). In 1976 a community development group called Comharchumann Bearna Teo was formed after five local men put up the purchase money for 2 acres (8,100 m2) at Troscaigh Thiar to be used for community purposes and has succeeded in developing several recreational facilities.
Microsoft Lumia (previously the Nokia Lumia Series) is a range of mobile devices designed and marketed by Microsoft Mobile and previously by Nokia. Introduced in November 2011, the line was the result of a long-term partnership between Nokia and Microsoft—as such, all Lumia smartphones run the Windows Phone operating system. The Lumia name is derived from the partitive plural form of the Finnish word lumi, meaning "snow".
On 3 September 2013, Microsoft announced its purchase of Nokia's mobile device business, with the deal closing on 25 April 2014. As a result, the Lumia line is now maintained by Microsoft Mobile. As part of the transition, Microsoft continued to use the Nokia brand on Lumia devices until October 2014, when it began to officially phase out the Nokia name in its promotion and production of smartphones in favor of Microsoft branding. In November 2014, Microsoft announced the first Microsoft (non-Nokia) branded Lumia device, the Lumia 535. In October 2015, Microsoft announced the first Lumia devices running on Windows 10 Mobile, the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 550.
Nokia Lumia 920 is a smartphone developed by Nokia that runs the Windows Phone 8 operating system. It was announced on September 5, 2012, and was first released on November 2, 2012. It has a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Krait CPU and a 4.5" IPS TFT LCD display, as well as a high-sensitivity capacitive touchscreen that can be used with gloves and fingernails; the display is covered by curved Gorilla Glass. It supports Qi inductive charging (can be charged by being placed directly onto a charging pad) and features an 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization for still images and videos. It comes with 32 GB of internal storage, but has no expandable storage.
The phone was released to mixed to positive reception. Most critics noted the device as the first Windows Phone 8 device to truly match its Android and iOS competitors in hardware, with high-end specifications, a Nokia PureView camera and unique features such as wireless inductive charging. Following this, the Lumia 920 would frequently be listed among the "elite" group smartphone during its time, otherwise populated by heavyweights from Apple and Samsung. This represented the first time a Windows Phone device had been considered to have powerful and impressive enough hardware to qualify as a truly high-end flagship device. Many features such as the super-sensitive capacitive screen and wireless inductive charging were popularized by the device and were found in later high-end Android phones. As some reviewers criticized the thickness and weight of the phone, Nokia released the Nokia Lumia 925, a lighter and thinner version of the Lumia 920 with an aluminium body and an improved camera.

In Oktober 2014 we followed the call of Portlands reputation as a city with extraordinary musical output to film a Video-Mixtape packed with amazing artists living in the city. For two weeks we found a home in the basement of Singer/Songwriter Alela Diane`s apartment in Northeast Portland. Guided by local hero Toren Volkman we explored the depths of Sound from Portland. “The Traveling Tapes – Portland” turned out to be a 40-minute video-mixtape featuring some of the best talent Portland has to offer at this time. Alela Diane performs a stunningly intimate, gripping version of “Lost Land” on the porch of her house.
