This is an original Mark-8 Minicomputer, designed by Jonathan Titus in 1973. The Mark-8 was published as a construction article in Radio Electronics Magazine July 1974. The Mark-8 was directly responsible for the Altair 8800, as Popular Electronics needed an article to compete. They contacted Ed Roberts of MITS, and proposed the Altair, which was published six months later in January of 1975. I rebuilt this computer over a two-year period from 1999 to 2001 after buying the computer one piece at a time through an ebay auction. See more at http://www.bytecollector.com/mark_8.htm

This is the Full Review of the Cozyswan I8 Mini PC that features the Intel Z3735F CPU, 2GB DDR3 Ram and 32GB od Nand Flash Storage.
As the title says its a low budget mini computer that deserves some attention specially because of the price point that is very low.
It comes pre installed with a Windows 8.1 full license but we can install windows 10 which was what i did and its working just fine.
Things i did like the Most:
- Great Overall Performance
- Low Price
Things i did Like the Less:
- I Wasn't Impressed with the Built Quality
- The Power Button feels Weak and might break easily.

Our hands on look at the Dual Core R-BOX Android TV PC Mini Computer. This little dual core Android dongle has an integrated camera and plugs into your television's HDMI slot and turns your TV into an Internet enabled set.
It's fast, simple to set up and works well with Google Play app store, so you can download games and apps to play on your TV.
The only thing we found that was a problem was the camera does not work with Skype, Tango or other video chat apps. Which means that the camera is really not much use at all on the TV, unless you want to video yourself sitting on the couch.

This is a PDP-11/40 minicomputer running a program to move a bit across the console panel from right to left.
This video shows me loading the program using the toggle switches on the console, and then executing the program.
The program is loaded as follows:
001000 Load Address
005000 Deposit
005200 Deposit
006100 Deposit
000005 Deposit
000775 Deposit
To run the program, enter:
001000 Load Address and press START
You will notice that I halt the program by pressing the HALT switch and then restart it by pressing the CONTINUE switch.
The PDP-11/40 computer was made around 1973 by Digital Equipment Corporation.

The word "minicomputer" (colloquially, "mini") is a term for a class of smaller computers that evolved in the mid-1960s and sold for much less than mainframe and mid-size computers from IBM and its direct competitors. In a 1970 survey, the New York Times suggested a consensus definition of a minicomputer as a machine costing less than $25,000, with an input-output device such as a teleprinter and at least 4K words of memory, that is capable of running programs in a higher level language, such as Fortran or Basic. The class formed a distinct group with its own hardware architectures and operating systems.
When single-chip CPUs appeared, beginning with the Intel 4004 in 1971, the term "minicomputer" came to mean a machine that lies in the middle range of the computing spectrum, in between the smallest mainframe computers and the microcomputers. The term "minicomputer" is little used today; the contemporary term for this class of system is "midrange computer", such as the higher-end SPARC, POWER and Itanium-based systems from Oracle, IBM and Hewlett-Packard.

PDP-11/40 minicomputer running a program
This is a PDP-11/40 minicomputer running a program to move a bit across the console panel from right to left. This video shows me loading the program using the toggle switches on the console, and then executing the program. The program is loaded as follows: 001000 Load Address 005000 Deposit 005200 Deposit 006100 Deposit 000005 Deposit 000775 Deposit To run the program, enter: 001000 Load Address and press START You will notice that I halt the program by pressing the HALT switch and then restart it by pressing the CONTINUE switch. The PDP-11/40 computer was made around 1973 by Digital Equipment Corporation. -

This is an original Mark-8 Minicomputer, designed by Jonathan Titus in 1973. The Mark-8 was published as a construction article in Radio Electronics Magazine July 1974. The Mark-8 was directly responsible for the Altair 8800, as Popular Electronics needed an article to compete. They contacted Ed Roberts of MITS, and proposed the Altair, which was published six months later in January of 1975. This is the Full Review of the Cozyswan I8 Mini PC that features the Intel Z3735F CPU, 2GB DDR3 Ram and 32GB od Nand Flash Storage.
As the title says its a low budget mini computer that deserves some attention specially because of the price point that is very low.
It comes pre installed with a Windows 8.1 full license but we can install windows 10 which was what i did and its working just fine.
Things i did like the Most:
- Great Overall Performance
- Low Price
Things i did Like the Less:
- I Wasn't Impressed with the Built Quality
- The Power Button feels Weak and might break easily.

Our hands on look at the Dual Core R-BOX Android TV PC Mini Computer. This little dual core Android dongle has an integrated camera and plugs into your television's HDMI slot and turns your TV into an Internet enabled set.
It's fast, simple to set up and works well with Google Play app store, so you can download games and apps to play on your TV.
The only thing we found that was a problem was the camera does not work with Skype, Tango or other video chat apps. Which means that the camera is really not much use at all on the TV, unless you want to video yourself sitting on the couch.

EgyptAir flight: 'Smoke detected' inside cabin before crash

France's aviation safety agency said Saturday that the EgyptAir A320 that crashed into the eastern Mediterranean with 66 people on board had transmitted automatic messages indicating smoke in the cabin. "There were ACARS messages emitted by the plane indicating that there was smoke in the cabin shortly before data transmission broke off," a spokesman of France's Bureau of Investigations and Analysis told AFP ... ....

Chelsea Manning, the former US Army private imprisoned for leaking classified documents to WikiLeaks, has filed an appeal for her 35-year prison sentence three years after her conviction. Manning, 28, was convicted on six counts of espionage in 2013 for leaking roughly 700,000 documents to the whistleblowing site WikiLeaks ... This week her attorneys requested that the US Army Court of Criminal Appeals reduce her sentence to 10 years....
