Emirates Melbourne Cup Parade 2016

The Emirates Melbourne Cup Parade, proudly supported by the City of Melbourne, will be held on Monday 31 October 2016.

Thousands of people will line Swanston Street for an exciting parade of thoroughbreds, jockeys, trainers and celebrity guests.

This free public event commences at 12pm and finishes at 2pm. All are welcome to enjoy the free entertainment and last minute interviews with Emirates Melbourne Cup trainers and jockeys at Federation Square.

Come and celebrate the 156th Emirates Melbourne Cup and feel the anticipation and excitement on the streets of Melbourne as we build up to 'the race that stops a nation(TM).'

And don't forget - the easiest way to get into the city is to catch public transport!
