In March 2015, Dr William Lane Craig delivered the Cadbury Lectures at the University of Birmingham in the UK. The honor of being invited to deliver these prestigious lectures was especially meaningful since it was at the University of Birmingham that Dr Craig did his doctoral studies in philosophy in the late 1970s. In fact, for that very reason, the organizers asked him to stay an extra day to deliver an additional lecture at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts on the kalam cosmological argument, the focus of his doctoral work those many years ago.

Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him صلى الله عليه وسلم ) said:
"My Grandsons Hassan (RA) and Hussain (RA) are Masters of the youth in Paradise ".
The holy Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) would embrace them in his warm and affectionate arms. He would make both of them sit together on his lap. When the verse of purity (Ayat Tathir) was revealed, the holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) covered them along with their father Hazrat Ali (RA) and their mother Hazrat Fatima (RA) with a Yemeni mantle, and said: "O, God these are my household members."
Hazrat lmam Hussain (R.A)and his opponent Yazeed are on opposite ends of the Heavenly scale. There is no Muslim school of thought that doubts the purity and qualification of the Imam Hussain (R.A). Righteous Muslims know that Imam Hussein is a dear grandson of our Holy Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him صلى الله عليه وسلم ) and that he is a Leader of the Youth of Paradise.
On the other hand, Yazeed is unacceptable to any Muslim. All Muslims condemn him and will continue to do so, for his transgression and for the crimes he committed against Ahl Al-Beit. With such a clear distinction between the two parties, there should be no confusion among the Muslims on account of the commemoration of this great Imam.

Sultan Bahu (also spelled Bahoo; Punjabi: سلطان باہو, ca 1630–1691) was a Sufi mystic, poet and scholar active mostly in the present-day Punjab province of Pakistan. He belonged to the Sufi order known as Qadiri, and the mystic tradition he started has been known as Sarwari Qadiri.
Little is known of Bahu's life, other than a hagiography written by a descendant of his seven generations later, entitled Manaqib-i Sultani.[1] Sultan Bahu was born in Shorekot, Jhang in the current Punjab Province of Pakistan.[2] More than forty books on Sufism are attributed to him, mostly in Persian, and largely dealing with specialised aspects of Islam and Islamic mysticism.[3] However, it is his Punjabi poetry which had popular appeal and earned him lasting fame.[1]:14 His verses are sung in many genres of Sufi music including qawwali and kafi, and tradition has established a unique style of singing his couplets.

ʿIlm al-Kalām (Arabic: علم الكلام, literally the study of "speech" or "words") is the Islamic philosophical discipline of seeking theological principles through dialectic. Kalām in Islamic practice relates to the discipline of seeking theological knowledge through debate and argument. A scholar of kalām is referred to as a mutakallim (plural mutakallimiin). There are many possible interpretations as to why this discipline was originally called "kalām"; one is that the widest controversy in this discipline has been about whether the Word of God, as revealed in the Qur'an, can be considered part of God's essence and therefore not created, or whether it was made into words in the normal sense of speech, and is therefore created.
Throughout history the place of kalam in Islamic thought has been controversial. A few traditional Sunni Muslim scholars have either criticized or prohibited it. Imams such as Abu Hanifa prohibited his students from engaging in kalam, stating that those who practice it are of the "retarded ones."Malik ibn Anas referred to kalam in the Islamic religion as being "detested", and that whoever "seeks the religion through kalam will deviate". In addition Muhammad Shafi'i said that no knowledge of Islam can be gained from books of kalam, as kalam "is not from knowledge" and that "It is better for a man to spend his whole life doing whatever Allah has prohibited - besides shirk with Allah - rather than spending his whole life involved in kalam."Ahmad ibn Hanbal also spoke strongly against kalam, stating his view that no one looks into kalam unless there is "corruption in his heart," and even went so far as to prohibit sitting with people practicing kalam even if they were defending the Sunnah, and instructing his students to warn against any person they saw practicing kalam.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (Punjabi: نصرت فتح علی خان (Shahmukhī)) (October 13, 1948 – August 16, 1997), a world-renowned Pakistani musician, was primarily a singer of Qawwali, the devotional music of the Sufis (a mystical tradition within Islam). Considered one of the greatest singers ever recorded, he possessed a six-octave vocal range[citation needed] and could perform at a high level of intensity for several hours. Extending the 600-year old Qawwali tradition of his family, Khan is widely credited with introducing Sufi music to international audiences. He was popularly known as "Shahenshah-e-Qawwali", meaning "The King of Kings of Qawwali".
Born in Faisalabad, Pakistan, Khan had his first public performance at age of 16, at his father's chelum. He officially became the head of the family qawwali party in 1971, and was signed by Oriental Star Agencies (OSA), Birmingham, U.K., in the early 1980s. In subsequent years, Khan released movie scores and albums for various labels in Pakistan, Europe, Japan and the U.S. He engaged in collaborations and experiments with Western artists, becoming a well-known world music artist in the process. He toured extensively, performing in over 40 countries.

Sultan Bahu (also spelled Bahoo; Punjabi: سلطان باہو, ca 1630–1691) was a Sufi mystic, poet and scholar active mostly in the present-day Punjab province of Pakistan. Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him صلى الله عليه وسلم ) said:
"My Grandsons Hassan (RA) and Hussain (RA) are Masters of the youth in Paradise ".
The holy Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) would embrace them in his warm and affectionate arms. He would make both of them sit together on his lap. When the verse of purity (Ayat Tathir) was revealed, the holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) covered them along with their father Hazrat Ali (RA) and their mother Hazrat Fatima (RA) with a Yemeni mantle, and said: "O, God these are my household members."
Hazrat lmam Hussain (R.A)and his opponent Yazeed are on opposite ends of the Heavenly scale. There is no Muslim school of thought that doubts the purity and qualification of the Imam Hussain (R.A). Righteous Muslims know that Imam Hussein is a dear grandson of our Holy Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him صلى الله عليه وسلم ) and that he is a Leader of the Youth of Paradise.
On the other hand, Yazeed is unacceptable to any Muslim. All Muslims condemn him and will continue to do so, for his transgression and for the crimes he committed against Ahl Al-Beit. With such a clear distinction between the two parties, there should be no confusion among the Muslims on account of the commemoration of this great Imam.
