Hiroshima (広島市, Hiroshima-shi) ( listen ) is the capital of Hiroshima Prefecture, and the largest city in the Chūgoku region of western Honshu, the largest island of Japan. The city's name, 広島, means "Wide Island" in Japanese. Hiroshima gained city status on April 1, 1889. On April 1, 1980, Hiroshima became a designated city. As of 2006, the city had an estimated population of 1,154,391. Kazumi Matsui has been the city's mayor since April 2011.
Hiroshima is best known as the first city in history to be targeted by a nuclear weapon when the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) dropped an atomic bomb on the city at 8:15 a.m. on August 6, 1945, near the end of World War II.
Hiroshima was established on the river delta coastline of the Seto Inland Sea in 1589 by the powerful warlord Mōri Terumoto, who made it his capital after leaving Kōriyama Castle in Aki Province.Hiroshima Castle was quickly built, and in 1593 Terumoto moved in. Terumoto was on the losing side at the Battle of Sekigahara. The winner of the battle, Tokugawa Ieyasu, deprived Mori Terumoto of most of his fiefs including Hiroshima and gave Aki Province to Masanori Fukushima, a daimyo who had supported Tokugawa.
"On My Knees" is the first single by the British R&B group The 411, released in late May 2004 and featured on their first album, Between the Sheets. In the UK Singles Chart, it reached number four and spent a total of ten weeks in the UK Top 75. It features guest vocals by American rapper Ghostface Killah, who includes "On My Knees" on his album.
It also charted in nine other countries in Europe and Australia, most successfully in Ireland where it was a top 20 hit.
The song samples 1970s R&B track "Ain't My Style" by The Main Ingredient.

LYRICS: Do me wrong, do me right Tell me lies, but hold me tight Save your good-byes for the morning light But don't let me be lonely tonight Say good-bye and say hello Sure 'nough good to see you But it's time to go Don't say yes, but please Don't say no I don't want to be lonely tonight Go away then, damn you Go on and do as you please You ain't gonna see me getting down on my knees I'm undecided and your heart's been divided You've been turning my world upside down Do me wrong, do me right Go on and tell me lies, but hold me tight Save your good-byes for the morning light But don't let me be lonely tonight

Casey Rybackről (Steven Seagal), a USS Missouri csatahajó jámbor szakácsáról csak kevesen tudják, hogy valamikor mindenre elszánt harcosként szolgált Vietnamban és a Közel-Keleten. A sors újra közbeszól, mert amikor a Missouri terroristák célpontjává válik, akik meg akarják szerezni a hajó nukleáris fegyvereit, Rybacknek a maroknyi legénység élére kell állnia, hogy megvédje a hajót, miközben a szárazföldön milliók rettegnek lélegzetvisszafojtva a fenyegető nukleáris háborútól.
Japan travel guide to what to do and eat in Miyajima, Hiroshima in a day! Hiroshima is near the bottom of the main island Honshu and a must visit when coming to Hiroshima is the island Itsukushima, more popularly known as Miyajima. It’s one of Japan’s top 3 scenic sights, most famous for its giant torii gate, which at high tide seems to float on the water. Miyajima island is also a great place for a day trip from the Kansai region like Kyoto and Osaka but I would recommend staying in Hiroshima for a few days to explore Hiroshima city and another day for Miyajima island. I started my trip off at Hiroshima station and took a 25 minute train ride to JR Miyajima-guchi station. From there it’s less than a 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal where you will take a 10 minute ferry ride to go t...

Hiroshima's okonomiyaki is its best known regional specialty. A savoury layered "pancake" of noodles, cabbage, pork and many other ingredients, it's a must-try for any visitor to the city. In this episode I visit Yagenbori Hassho - known to locals as the famous "Blue Hassho" - which many say is the city's best, and learn how to eat okonomiyaki like a Hiroshima local.

Hiroshima today, Japan tours 2016 - Tourist attractions in Hiroshima, Japan - Trip to Hiroshima, Japan Travel Videos HD, World Travel Guide http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=World1Tube To most people, Hiroshima means just one thing. The city's name will forever evoke thoughts of 6 August 1945, when Hiroshima became the target of the world's first atomic-bomb attack. Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park is a constant reminder of that day, and it attracts visitors from all over the world. But leafy Hiroshima, with its wide boulevards and laid-back friendliness, is a far from depressing place. Present-day Hiroshima is home to a thriving and internationally minded community, and it's worth spending a couple of nights here to experience the city at its vibrant best. Atomic Bomb D...

Flying over Tokyo was the best welcoming card we could get. As we landed in Narita Airport, we couldn’t wait to explore the bustling capital of Japan. It’s neon-lit skyscrapers shoulder to shoulder with buddhist temples and cherry blossom trees define the country. From the concrete streets of Tokyo and the temples of Kyoto to the port city of Nagasaki, a dance between the ultramodern and the traditional is always there. A ride in the Shinkansen from the island of Honshu to the Kyushu revealed more than the guide book Japan. Over the course of 16 days we dined with locals in Fukuoka, explored caves amidst the crashing waves in Enoshima and played with friendly deers in Miyajima island. Enjoy. I told you before - don't you hear what I say
I won't take it no more - no more makin' me stay
Down on my knees - you know I'm down on my knees yeh
Yes I've been down on my knees
But I'm through beggin' please
I won't get back on my knees.
Nobody knows - what your puttin me through
Nobody knows - if it's worth it for you
Nobody sees - you got me down on my knees
Well I've been down on my knees
And I'm through beggin' please
Don't put me back on my knees.
You know how I always loved you
Never placed myself above you,
Don't let me go - if I wish that I could
Don't tell me no - if I wish that you would
Down on my knees - you know I'm down on my knees
Well I've been down on my knees
But I'm through beggin' please
