The Takeda clan was a Japanese clan active from the late Heian Period (794-1185) until the establishment of the Tokugawa shogunate in 1603. The clan was historically based in Kai Province in present-day Yamanashi Prefecture.
The Takeda were descendants of Emperor Seiwa (850-880) and are a branch of the Minamoto clan (Seiwa Genji), by Minamoto no Yoshimitsu (1056-1127), brother to the Chinjufu-shogun Minamoto no Yoshiie (1039-1106). Minamoto no Yoshikiyo (1075-1149), son of Yoshimitsu, was the first to take the name of Takeda.
In the 12th century, at the end of the Heian period, the Takeda family controlled Kai Province. Along with a number of other families, they aided their cousin Minamoto no Yoritomo against the Taira clan in the Genpei War. When Minamoto no Yoritomo was first defeated at Ishibashiyama (1181), Takeda Nobuyoshi was applied for help and the Takeda sent an army of 20,000 men to support Yoritomo. Takeda Nobumitsu (1162-1248), helped the Hōjō during the Shokyu War (1221) and in reward received the governorship of Aki Province. Until the Sengoku period, the Takeda were shugo of Kai, Aki and Wakasa provinces.
Immediately prior to the Sengoku period, the Takeda helped to suppress the Rebellion of Uesugi Zenshū (1416-1417). Uesugi Zenshū was the kanrei chief advisor to Ashikaga Mochiuji, an enemy of the central Ashikaga shogunate and the Kantō kubō governor-general of the Kantō Region. Mochiuji, lord of the Uesugi clan, made a reprisal against the Takeda clan in 1415. This reprisal began a rivalry between the Uesugi and Takeda clans which would last roughly 150 years until the destruction of the Takeda clan at the end of the Sengoku period.
Takeda Harunobu (1467-1568) succeeded his father Nobutora in 1540 and became shugo lord of Kai Province in present-day Yamanashi Prefecture. In this period the Takeda began to quickly expand from their base in Kai Province. In 1559, Harunobu changed his name to the better-known Takeda Shingen. He faced the Hōjō clan a number of times, and most of his expansion was to the north, where he fought his most famous battles against Uesugi Kenshin. This series of regional skirmishes is known as the Battles of Kawanakajima. The battles began in 1553, and the best known and severest among them was fought on September 10, 1561.
Shingen is famous for his tactical genius, and innovations, though some historians have argued that his tactics were not particularly impressive nor revolutionary. Nevertheless, Shingen is perhaps most famous for his use of the cavalry charge. Up until the mid-16th century and Shingen's rise to power, mounted samurai were primarily archers. There was already a trend at this time towards larger infantry-based armies, including a large number of foot archers. In order to defeat these missile troops, Shingen transformed his samurai from archers to lancers. Shingen used the cavalry charge to devastating effect at the Battle of Mikatagahara in 1572. The strength of Shingen's new tactic became so famous that the Takeda army came to be known as the kiba gundan, or 'mounted army.'
Shingen died in on May 13 1573 at age 53 from illness. His less tactically talented son Takeda Katsuyori (1546-1582) succeeded Shingen and was defeated in the Battle of Nagashino in 1575 by Oda Nobunaga. Nobunaga succeeded in eliminating the heirs of the Takeda clan after the Battle of Nagashino. The clan was effectively eliminated, although descendants of the Takeda clan would take prominent positions in the Tokugawa shogunate, established in 1603.
Takeda is also a fairly common family name in modern Japan, though it is unlikely that everyone with the Takeda name is descended from this noble house (several divisions of the family have the Takeda name).
In fact, most of the real descendants of the Takeda had a different name when they created a cadet branch. During the Tokugawa period, several daimyō families were direct descendants of the Takeda.

Made Governor of the province then known as 'Aki' during the Heian period (794-1185), the great warlord Taira no Kiyomori (1118-1181) made improvements to the existing Itsukushima Shrine, creating a sight unique in all the world, a structure that appears
to float on the waves. It is said that behind the brilliant idea of making the sea
into the temple approach, over and above the island itself (also known as 'Miyajima'
or 'Shrine Island') being held sacred and thus no building being allowed there,
was Kiyomori's great ambition of encouraging trade with Song-dynasty China.
He wished with this shrine to demonstrate the renewal of the country and its connection
with the outside world. The tori front gate is built in a manner which makes it appear
to float upon the waves, welcoming into the deep pocket of the bay all that approaches from over the sea. The main sanctuary connected by passageways and built without walls in the fashion of the residences of 12th-century nobility is in beautiful harmony
with their natural backdrop of Mt. Misen and the vast expanse of sea. This magnificent shrine, the fountainhead of the Japanese esthetic of harmony among all things—gods, nature, people, and the wide world—was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site
in 1996.

Aki Province (安芸国, Aki no kuni?) or Geishū (芸州) was a province in the Chūgoku Region of western Honshū, comprising the western part of what is today Hiroshima Prefecture.
When Emperor Shōmu ordered two official temples for each province (one for male Buddhist priests and one for nuns), two temples were founded in Aki Province. The provincial temple was founded in present-day Saijō, Higashihiroshima.
In the late Heian Period (12th century), Aki Province became well known for the Itsukushima Shrine. Taira no Kiyomori realized the shrine's importance and donated funds for a new complex of buildings and sutra scrolls. Itsukushima (Miyajima) had a good sea port and had clear strategic significance.
In the Sengoku Period, it was the original seat of the Mōri clan until 1600. In 1555, Mōri Motonari won the Battle of Itsukushima against Sue Harutaka and established his power in the western part of Honshū.
Mōri Terumoto, one of the Council of Five Elders Toyotomi Hideyoshi appointed for his son Hideyori, sided with Ishida Mitsunari before the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, and lost Aki and many of his other domains.

The clan was historically based in Kai Province in present-day Yamanashi Prefecture. The Takeda were descendants of Emperor Seiwa (850-880) and are a branch of the Minamoto clan (Seiwa Genji), by Minamoto no Yoshimitsu (1056-1127), brother to the Chinjufu-shogun Minamoto no Yoshiie (1039-1106). Minamoto no Yoshikiyo (1075-1149), son of Yoshimitsu, was the first to take the name of Takeda. In the 12th century, at the end of the Heian period, the Takeda family controlled Kai Province. Along with a number of other families, they aided their cousin Minamoto no Yoritomo against the Taira clan in the Genpei War. When Minamoto no Yoritomo was first defeated at Ishibashiyama (1181), Takeda Nobuyoshi was applied for help and the Takeda sent an army of 20,000 men to support Yoritomo. Takeda Nobumitsu (1162-1248), helped the Hōjō during the Shokyu War (1221) and in reward received the governorship of Aki Province. Until the Sengoku period, the Takeda were shugo of Kai, Aki and Wakasa provinces. Immediately prior to the Sengoku period, the Takeda helped to suppress the Rebellion of Uesugi Zenshū (1416-1417). Uesugi Zenshū was the kanrei chief advisor to Ashikaga Mochiuji, an enemy of the central Ashikaga shogunate and the Kantō kubō governor-general of the Kantō Region. Mochiuji, lord of the Uesugi clan, made a reprisal against the Takeda clan in 1415. This reprisal began a rivalry between the Uesugi and Takeda clans which would last roughly 150 years until the destruction of the Takeda clan at the end of the Sengoku period. Takeda Harunobu (1467-1568) succeeded his father Nobutora in 1540 and became shugo lord of Kai Province in present-day Yamanashi Prefecture. In this period the Takeda began to quickly expand from their base in Kai Province. In 1559, Harunobu changed his name to the better-known Takeda Shingen. He faced the Hōjō clan a number of times, and most of his expansion was to the north, where he fought his most famous battles against Uesugi Kenshin. This series of regional skirmishes is known as the Battles of Kawanakajima. The battles began in 1553, and the best known and severest among them was fought on September 10, 1561. Shingen is famous for his tactical genius, and innovations, though some historians have argued that his tactics were not particularly impressive nor revolutionary. Nevertheless, Shingen is perhaps most famous for his use of the cavalry charge. Up until the mid-16th century and Shingen's rise to power, mounted samurai were primarily archers. There was already a trend at this time towards larger infantry-based armies, including a large number of foot archers. In order to defeat these missile troops, Shingen transformed his samurai from archers to lancers. Shingen used the cavalry charge to devastating effect at the Battle of Mikatagahara in 1572. The strength of Shingen's new tactic became so famous that the Takeda army came to be known as the kiba gundan, or 'mounted army.' Shingen died in on May 13 1573 at age 53 from illness. His less tactically talented son Takeda Katsuyori (1546-1582) succeeded Shingen and was defeated in the Battle of Nagashino in 1575 by Oda Nobunaga. Nobunaga succeeded in eliminating the heirs of the Takeda clan after the Battle of Nagashino. The clan was effectively eliminated, although descendants of the Takeda clan would take prominent positions in the Tokugawa shogunate, established in 1603. Takeda is also a fairly common family name in modern Japan, though it is unlikely that everyone with the Takeda name is descended from this noble house (several divisions of the family have the Takeda name). In fact, most of the real descendants of the Takeda had a different name when they created a cadet branch. Itsukushima Shrine (Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture) A magnificent shrine floots on the water, in harmony with its natural surroundings Made Governor of the province then known as 'Aki' during the Heian period (794-1185), the great warlord Taira no Kiyomori (1118-1181) made improvements to the existing Itsukushima Shrine, creating a sight unique in all the world, a structure that appears to float on the waves. It is said that behind the brilliant idea of making the sea into the temple approach, over and above the island itself (also known as 'Miyajima' or 'Shrine Island') being held sacred and thus no building being allowed there, was Kiyomori's great ambition of encouraging trade with Song-dynasty China. He wished with this shrine to demonstrate the renewal of the country and its connection with the outside world. The tori front gate is built in a manner which makes it appear to float upon the waves, welcoming into the deep pocket of the bay all that approaches from over the sea. The main sanctuary connected by passageways and built without walls in the fashion of the residences of 12th-century nobility is in beautiful harmony with their natural backdrop of Mt. Misen and the vast expanse of sea. This magnificent shrine, the fountainhead of the Japanese esthetic of harmony among all things—gods, nature, people, and the wide world—was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. -

Barongan Animals that has to do with the rice and made of straw. 4. The accompanying music using KOKOPLAK, BANGBARAAN, FLOATING drums and the sound of the players (Ngabeluk and kawih) .. - Puppet Kila to show Helaran (procession) has an element not much different from that used for sacred occasions. On the basis of the above, we hope all parties can support and help for the sake of realization of art "Puppet Kila" who hopes to become Original art from local Lakbok and became an icon in the District Lakbok particular and in general, Ciamis Regency.. -

They bandits had been sentenced for various crimes and Macedonian authorities suspect they were helped to escape by ethnic Albanian guards, several of whom had been arrested afterwards. But despite Skopje's insistence on the criminal aspect of the Wednesday shootout, a mysterious Tetovo-based organization calling itself 'The Political-military organizational committee of Kosovo liberation armies' said in a statement they were "forced to organise themselves into regular military units to defend the Albanian people and its territories". Ethnic Albanians, who make about 25 per cent of Macedonia's two million population, rebelled in 2001, but the dispute was settled by the Ohrid peace accord which granted them greater rights and regional autonomy. Tetovo, with predominantly ethnic Albanian population, was the centre of the rebellion and the police said most of those killed on Wednesday were spearheading the 2001 uprising. The Tetovo organisation said in the statement there would be no peace in the Balkans until all ethnic Albanians living in the region were free to unite with Albania. The unrest in Macedonia coincided with growing support from Western powers for majority ethnic Albanians in Kosovo, who demand independence from Serbia, despite strenuous opposition from Belgrade. -

The Takeda clan was a Japanese clan active from the late Heian Period (794-1185) until the establishment of the Tokugawa shogunate in 1603. The clan was historically based in Kai Province in present-day Yamanashi Prefecture.
The Takeda were descendants of Emperor Seiwa (850-880) and are a branch of the Minamoto clan (Seiwa Genji), by Minamoto no Yoshimitsu (1056-1127), brother to the Chinjufu-shogun Minamoto no Yoshiie (1039-1106). Minamoto no Yoshikiyo (1075-1149), son of Yoshimitsu, was the first to take the name of Takeda.
In the 12th century, at the end of the Heian period, the Takeda family controlled Kai Province. Along with a number of other families, they aided their cousin Minamoto no Yoritomo against the Taira clan in the Genpei War. When Minamoto no Yoritomo was first defeated at Ishibashiyama (1181), Takeda Nobuyoshi was applied for help and the Takeda sent an army of 20,000 men to support Yoritomo. Takeda Nobumitsu (1162-1248), helped the Hōjō during the Shokyu War (1221) and in reward received the governorship of Aki Province. Until the Sengoku period, the Takeda were shugo of Kai, Aki and Wakasa provinces.
Immediately prior to the Sengoku period, the Takeda helped to suppress the Rebellion of Uesugi Zenshū (1416-1417). Uesugi Zenshū was the kanrei chief advisor to Ashikaga Mochiuji, an enemy of the central Ashikaga shogunate and the Kantō kubō governor-general of the Kantō Region. Mochiuji, lord of the Uesugi clan, made a reprisal against the Takeda clan in 1415. This reprisal began a rivalry between the Uesugi and Takeda clans which would last roughly 150 years until the destruction of the Takeda clan at the end of the Sengoku period.
Takeda Harunobu (1467-1568) succeeded his father Nobutora in 1540 and became shugo lord of Kai Province in present-day Yamanashi Prefecture. In this period the Takeda began to quickly expand from their base in Kai Province. In 1559, Harunobu changed his name to the better-known Takeda Shingen. He faced the Hōjō clan a number of times, and most of his expansion was to the north, where he fought his most famous battles against Uesugi Kenshin. This series of regional skirmishes is known as the Battles of Kawanakajima. The battles began in 1553, and the best known and severest among them was fought on September 10, 1561.
Shingen is famous for his tactical genius, and innovations, though some historians have argued that his tactics were not particularly impressive nor revolutionary. Nevertheless, Shingen is perhaps most famous for his use of the cavalry charge. Up until the mid-16th century and Shingen's rise to power, mounted samurai were primarily archers. There was already a trend at this time towards larger infantry-based armies, including a large number of foot archers. In order to defeat these missile troops, Shingen transformed his samurai from archers to lancers. Shingen used the cavalry charge to devastating effect at the Battle of Mikatagahara in 1572. The strength of Shingen's new tactic became so famous that the Takeda army came to be known as the kiba gundan, or 'mounted army.'
Shingen died in on May 13 1573 at age 53 from illness. His less tactically talented son Takeda Katsuyori (1546-1582) succeeded Shingen and was defeated in the Battle of Nagashino in 1575 by Oda Nobunaga. Nobunaga succeeded in eliminating the heirs of the Takeda clan after the Battle of Nagashino. The clan was effectively eliminated, although descendants of the Takeda clan would take prominent positions in the Tokugawa shogunate, established in 1603.
Takeda is also a fairly common family name in modern Japan, though it is unlikely that everyone with the Takeda name is descended from this noble house (several divisions of the family have the Takeda name).
In fact, most of the real descendants of the Takeda had a different name when they created a cadet branch. During the Tokugawa period, several daimyō families were direct descendants of the Takeda.

Made Governor of the province then known as 'Aki' during the Heian period (794-1185), the great warlord Taira no Kiyomori (1118-1181) made improvements to the existing Itsukushima Shrine, creating a sight unique in all the world, a structure that appears
to float on the waves. It is said that behind the brilliant idea of making the sea
into the temple approach, over and above the island itself (also known as 'Miyajima'
or 'Shrine Island') being held sacred and thus no building being allowed there,
was Kiyomori's great ambition of encouraging trade with Song-dynasty China.
He wished with this shrine to demonstrate the renewal of the country and its connection
with the outside world. The tori front gate is built in a manner which makes it appear
to float upon the waves, welcoming into the deep pocket of the bay all that approaches from over the sea. The main sanctuary connected by passageways and built without walls in the fashion of the residences of 12th-century nobility is in beautiful harmony

Asano clan is a Japanese kin group of the Sengoku period and Edo period.
The Asano are descendants of the Emperor Seiwa (850-880), of Minamoto no Yorimitsu (944-1021), and are a branch of the Toki family. Minamoto no Mitsunobu, descended from Yorimitsu in the 4th generation, settled at Toki (Mino) and took the name of that place. The Toki were hereditary shugo (Governors) of Mino province until the 16th century.
The Asano name is perhaps most well known as a result of the story of the Forty-seven Ronin, whose lord was Asano Naganori, the head of a branch of the family enfeoffed at Ako (Harima Province, 53,000 koku).
The Asano were tozama daimyō, or "outside lords", meaning that they held no hereditary ties to the Tokugawa shogunate. They were thus burdened with various responsibilities and obligations to the shoguns to a greater extent than many other lords. Lakbok sub-district has 10 villages and has a lot of good art Traditional Arts Traditional Sundanese and Javanese traditional arts, given the multicultural society that is from the tribe of Sundanese and Javanese tribe. Why straw? Because the District of Lakbok including Rice Barn Ciamis district and almost territory surrounded by paddy fields.
Kila puppet has a 2 gig, namely as the opening event - sacred events and performances as an accompanist for the event or procession,
- Puppet Kila for Opener sacred events (Event Hajat Earth, Alms Earth, ruwatan, etc.) has several elements, namely:
1. puppet made of straw,
2. puppeteer who plays the puppets and the chanting Song Lakbok,
3. Barongan Animals that has to do with the rice and made of straw.
4. The accompanying music using KOKOPLAK, BANGBARAAN, FLOATING drums and the sound of the players (Ngabeluk and kawih) ..
- Puppet Kila to show Helaran (procession) has an element not much different from that used for sacred occasions.

The police swept mountainous area near the town of Tetovo, bordering Serbia's breakaway Kosovo province, in search of armed bands which have been operating in the area.
After a ten-hour shootout, six "criminals" were killed, police said, and a cache of heavy and light weapons were discovered.
The police said most of the bandits involved in Wednesday's clashes recently escaped from jail in neighboring Kosovo, which has been under United Nations control since 1999.
They bandits had been sentenced for various crimes and Macedonian authorities suspect they were helped to escape by ethnic Albanian guards, several of whom had been arrested afterwards.
But despite Skopje's insistence on the criminal aspect of the Wednesday shootout, a mysterious Tetovo-based organization calling itself 'The Political-military organizational committee of Kosovo liberation armies' said in a statement they were "forced to organise themselves into regular military units to defend the Albanian people and its territories".
Ethnic Albanians, who make about 25 per cent of Macedonia's two million population, rebelled in 2001, but the dispute was settled by the Ohrid peace accord which granted them greater rights and regional autonomy.
Tetovo, with predominantly ethnic Albanian population, was the centre of the rebellion and the police said most of those killed on Wednesday were spearheading the 2001 uprising.
The Tetovo organisation said in the statement there would be no peace in the Balkans until all ethnic Albanians living in the region were free to unite with Albania.
The unrest in Macedonia coincided with growing support from Western powers for majority ethnic Albanians in Kosovo, who demand independence from Serbia, despite strenuous opposition from Belgrade.
