The Story revolves around 5 principal characters. Cable Raju is a slum dweller who works as a cable operator. He loves Pooja , who is from the upper class of the society. Pooja, however, doesn't know of Raju's financial background and thinks of him to be rich; Saroja is a prostitute in Amalapuram working for Rattamma. She has a best friend Karpooram who is a eunuch. Saroja doesn't like working for Rattamma and plans to run away from there. Her dreams come true when she receives a call from Hyderabad from one of her agents. ; Ramulu is a debt-ridden weaver from Sircilla, He lives with his widowed daughter-in-law, Padma and grandson. Ramulu is desperate to get his grandson educated, being illiterate himself. However he owes money to the local landlord, who takes his grandson away saying that he would be sent to the construction business in the city for 10 years to recover the money; Vivek Chakravarthy is an upcoming rock star in Bengaluru who hails from a family of decorated army officers. His mother wants him to follow the same path but he isn't interested; Raheemuddin Qureshi is a Muslim from Old Basti in Hyderabad. In the past, his wife suffered a miscarriage due to a scuffle between him and a few Ganesh devotees during a religious procession. Unable to bear the loss, he decides to leave the country. However during his farewell party, a police officer comes to his house and arrests his nephews, alleging that they have links with terrorists. The stories of these five characters are interwoven into one.

The day has finally come to see one of my best friends again after he was gone without a phone or internet in Marines basic training for 3 months! Glad we finally get to see how everything went and catch up. Also, I really hope my family can stick the commitment I put in front of them. I'm just trying to be a good son/brother and make sure they live as long and as healthy of a life as possible! Tomorrow i'm buying my Mom a new car! Can't wait to bring you guys along!

The Irish people (Irish: Muintir na hÉireann or na hÉireannaigh; Ulster-Scots: Airisch or Airish fowk) are an ethnic group who originate in Ireland, an island in northwestern Europe. Ireland has been populated for around 9,000 years (according to archaeological studies, see Prehistoric Ireland). The Irish people's earliest ancestors are recorded in legends – they are claimed to be descended from groups such as the Nemedians, Fomorians, Fir Bolg, Tuatha Dé Danann and the Milesians.Lebor Gabála Érenn, a book of Irish mythology tells that Tuatha Dé Dananns were Scythian descendants.
The main groups that interacted with the Irish in the Middle Ages include the Picts, Scots, and the Vikings. Due to this contact, Icelanders are noted for having some Irish descent. The Anglo-Norman invasion of the High Middle Ages, the English plantations and the subsequent English rule of the country introduced the Normans and Flemish into Ireland. Welsh, Picts, Bretons, and small parties of Gauls and even Anglo-Saxons are known in Ireland from much earlier times.

Anushka Shetty (born on 7 November 1981 as Sweety Shetty) is an Indian film actress who works mainly in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. She debuted in the 2005 Telugu film Super and rose to fame following her performance in Vikramarkudu (2006). After starring in a series of high-budget productions alongside leading Telegu and Tamil actors, she went on to became one of Telegu and Tamil cinema's leading actresses in the successive years, while receiving high critical acclaim for her portrayal of the titular character in Arundhati, and as Saroja in Vedam, which fetched her two Filmfare, one Nandi and two CineMAA Awards.
Anushka Shetty was born as Sweety Shetty on 7 November 1981 in Mangalore. Shetty is an ethnic Bunt hailing from the landed Bellipady Uramalu Guthu family. Her parents are Prafulla and A.N. Vittal Shetty. She has two brothers Gunaranjan Shetty and Sai Ramesh Shetty who is a cosmetic surgeon. She attended her schooling in Bangalore. She did her Bachelor of Computer Applications at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She was also a Yoga Instructor and has trained under yoga guru Bharat Thakur.

Saroja doesn't like working for Rattamma and plans to run away from there. Her dreams come true when she receives a call from Hyderabad from one of her agents. ; Ramulu is a debt-ridden weaver from Sircilla, He lives with his widowed daughter-in-law, Padma and grandson. Ramulu is desperate to get his grandson educated, being illiterate himself. However he owes money to the local landlord, who takes his grandson away saying that he would be sent to the construction business in the city for 10 years to recover the money; Vivek Chakravarthy is an upcoming rock star in Bengaluru who hails from a family of decorated army officers. His mother wants him to follow the same path but he isn't interested; Raheemuddin Qureshi is a Muslim from Old Basti in Hyderabad. In the past, his wife suffered a miscarriage due to a scuffle between him and a few Ganesh devotees during a religious procession. Unable to bear the loss, he decides to leave the country. However during his farewell party, a police officer comes to his house and arrests his nephews, alleging that they have links with terrorists. The stories of these five characters are interwoven into one.

I'm just trying to be a good son/brother and make sure they live as long and as healthy of a life as possible! Tomorrow i'm buying my Mom a new car! Can't wait to bring you guys along!

Horrendous storms have caused dangerous flooding across several states in the south this past weekend. A state of emergency and flash flood warnings have been issued, affecting as many as seven states so far. A state of emergency and flash flood warnings have been issued, affecting as many as seven states so far. Regions of Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Alabama have been on alert, while places like Deweyville, Texas and parts of rural Louisiana had to be completely evacuated.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders went on a barnstorming blitz Monday, responding to a sudden opening to gain on Hillary Clinton’s delegate lead as polls show the front-runner’s once-solid advantage in key Midwestern contests shrinking to single digits going into the Super Tuesday II primaries.
In Illinois, one of five states holding primaries on Tuesday, a fresh CBS News poll even shows Sanders ahead of Clinton by 2 points.
The story is the same across the Midwest.
In Ohio’s primary, polls show Clinton leading by an average of just 6 percentage points, down from a high of 30 just a few weeks ago. In Missouri, too, Sanders has decidedly closed the gap.
The polling reflects Sanders’ apparent surge in Midwestern and Rust Belt states, possibly propelled by last week's stunning upset of Clinton in the Michigan primary. The territory is proving to be a potential stronghold for the still-underdog self-professed Socialist senator, even as Clinton locks down traditional Democratic support across the South.
Clinton still is favored to win two other Democratic contests Tuesday, in Florida and North Carolina, where polls show her holding tight to a double-digit lead.
But Sanders is concentrating his efforts on the three Midwestern states. His schedule Monday takes him from Ohio to North Carolina, and then back to Missouri before wrapping the night with a rally in Chicago.

This documentary traces the discovery of America and early voyages by European explorers. It shows Indian civilizations encountered by the Spanish, Spanish colonization, English freebooters on the Spanish Main, and the life of early settlers in New England and the South.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
The colonial history of the United States covers the history of European settlements from the start of colonization of America until their incorporation into the United States. In the late 16th century, England, France, Spain and the Netherlands launched major colonization programs in eastern North America. Small early attempts often disappeared; everywhere the death rate of the first arrivals was very high. Nevertheless successful colonies were established. European settlers came from a variety of social and religious groups. No aristocrats settled permanently, but a number of adventurers, soldiers, farmers, and tradesmen arrived. Diversity was an American characteristic as the Dutch of New Netherland, the Swedes and Finns of New Sweden, the English Quakers of Pennsylvania, the English Puritans of New England, the English settlers of Jamestown, and the "worthy poor" of Georgia, came to the new continent and built colonies with distinctive social, religious, political and economic styles. Non-British colonies were taken over and the inhabitants were all assimilated, unlike in Nova Scotia, where the British expelled the French Acadian inhabitants. There were no major civil wars among the 13 colonies, and the two chief armed rebellions (in Virginia in 1676 and in New York in 1689–91) were short-lived failures. Wars between the French and the British—the French and Indian Wars and Father Rale's War—were recurrent, and involved French support for Wabanaki Confederacy attacks on the frontiers. By 1760 France was defeated and the British seized its colonies.
On the eastern seaboard of what would become the United States, the four distinct British regions were: New England, the Middle Colonies, the Chesapeake Bay Colonies (Upper South) and the Lower South. By the time European settlers arrived around 1600–1650, the majority of the Native Americans living in the eastern United States had been ravaged by new diseases, introduced to them decades before by explorers and sailors.
Colonizers came from European kingdoms with highly developed military, naval, governmental and entrepreneurial capabilities. The Spanish and Portuguese centuries-old experience of conquest and colonization during the Reconquista, coupled with new oceanic ship navigation skills, provided the tools, ability, and desire to colonize the New World. England, France and the Netherlands started colonies in both the West Indies and North America. They had the ability to build ocean-worthy ships, but did not have as strong a history of colonization in foreign lands as did Portugal and Spain. However, English entrepreneurs gave their colonies a base of merchant-based investment that needed much less government support.
English colonies:
England made its first successful efforts at the start of the 17th century for several reasons. During this era, English proto-nationalism and national assertiveness blossomed under the threat of Spanish invasion, assisted by a degree of Protestant militarism and the energy of Queen Elizabeth. At this time, however, there was no official attempt by the English government to create a colonial empire. Rather, the motivation behind the founding of colonies was piecemeal and variable. Practical considerations, such as commercial enterprise, overpopulation and the desire for freedom of religion, played their parts. The main waves of settlement came in the 17th century. After 1700 most immigrants to Colonial America arrived as indentured servants—young unmarried men and women seeking a new life in a much richer environment. Between the late 1610s and the American Revolution, the British shipped an estimated 50,000 convicts to its American colonies. The first convicts to arrive pre-dated the arrival of the Mayflower.
New England:
New England is the oldest clearly defined region of the United States. While New England was originally inhabited by Indigenous peoples, English Pilgrims and especially Puritans, fleeing religious persecution in England, arrived in the 1620-1660 era. They dominated the region; their religion was later called Congregationalism. They and their descendants are called Yankees. Farming, fishing and lumbering prospered, as did seafaring and merchandising.

Starting in New York City the two drove over 15,000 miles ending their journey in Honolulu, Hawaii on the 4th of July. During the whole adventure Roger's twin brother Rodney was along shooting video of the whole thing which he edited into a feature length documentary. "Welcome to America: 50 States 50 Days"

The United States and Papua New Guinea are the only two countries in the world that do not guarantee paid maternity leave. Despite the fact that the US ranks second in the world for highest GDP while Papua New Guinea falls at 139th, working women in both countries face the same fears, often having to choose between motherhood and a career.
When the US passed the Family and Medical Leave Act in 1993, it left many women feeling cornered. The act ensures 12 weeks of unpaid time off for full-time workers at companies with at least 50 employees—about 60 percent of the American workforce. Unfortunately, this leaves women who cannot afford the time off with no choice but to decline staying at home with their newborn, while others fear that requesting paid time off will compromise their job security.
President Obama signed a Presidential Memorandum in January 2015, advancing six weeks of paid parental leave to all federal employees. With the presidential election approaching, efforts towards catching up with the rest of the world in this category are garnering attention with the hope of influencing voters’ decisions. As they make their minds up, millennial women are looking to see how the candidates’ stance on the issue will impact their lives and their vote.
In this episode of Ovary Action, Broadly travels to Sweden—a nation that offers 480 days of paid leave—and Papua New Guinea to compare how their policies fare against our own.
