Lokene 02 (Di6.662), 04 (Di6.664), 06 (Di6.
666) og 09 (Di6.669) kom tilbake til
Norge etter noen års eksil i
Tyskland.
2012 da
Dovrebanen ble stengt pga ras. Cargo Link leide på nytt lokene for å kjøre sine godstog over
The
Norwegian state railways class Di6 was a very unreilable locomotive.
Twelve locos were delivered from
Siemens/MaK in
1996. The contract was terminated in
1999 and the locos returned to
Germany. Four units were in 2008 sendt back to
Norway leased to freight
operator Cargo Link. Units 02, 04, 06 and 09 were used untill June 2011 when the leasing contract expired. The locos were placed in storage. In
March 2012 the locomotives were recalled to service due to a major landslide on the
Dovre line.
Freight trains were rerouted over the unelectrified
Røros line, and this demanded
Diesel power. Units 02 and 04 were first reactivated, and from March 28 unit 06 was also put into service when unit 02s turbocharger exploded. When the Dovre line was reopened at May 9, the locos were again stored untill July 25 when they were shipped back to Germany. Here are some shots with the locos in action.
Today the locos are designated as DE2700, and are owned by Vossloh.
