Monte Carlo /ˈmɒnti ˈkɑːrloʊ/ (Italian pronunciation: [ˈmonte ˈkarlo]; French: Monte-Carlo or colloquially Monte-Carl, Monégasque: Monte-Carlu) officially refers to an administrative area of the Principality of Monaco, specifically the ward of Monte Carlo/Spélugues, where the Monte Carlo Casino is located. Informally the name also refers to a larger district, the Monte Carlo Quarter (corresponding to the former municipality of Monte Carlo), which besides Monte Carlo/Spélugues also includes the wards of La Rousse/Saint Roman, Larvotto/Bas Moulins, and Saint Michel. The permanent population of the ward of Monte Carlo is about 3,500, while that of the quarter is about 15,000. Monaco has four traditional quarters. From west to east they are: Fontvieille (the newest), Monaco-Ville (the oldest), La Condamine, and Monte Carlo.
Monte Carlo (literally "Mount Charles") is situated on a prominent escarpment at the base of the Maritime Alps along the French Riviera. Near the western end of the quarter is the world-famous Place du Casino, the gambling center which has made Monte Carlo "an international byword for the extravagant display and reckless dispersal of wealth". It is also the location of the Hôtel de Paris, the Café de Paris, and the Salle Garnier (the casino theatre which is the home of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo).
The Chevrolet Monte Carlo is a two-door coupe that was produced by Chevrolet through six generations from the 1970 to the 2007 model years. It was marketed as a personal luxury car, with the last generation classified as a full-sized coupé When production ended in 2007, the Monte Carlo had outlived many competitors that were either discontinued or changed in concept to either a four-door sedan or small sport coupe.
The car was named for the city Monte Carlo in the Principality of Monaco, specifically the ward of Monte Carlo/Spélugues.
The first four generations of the Monte Carlo (1970–72, 1973–77, 1978–80, and 1981–88) were of a rear-wheel-drive, V8-powered (a V6 engine from 1978) coupe design, utilizing body-on-frame construction. The later rear-wheel-drive generations did not incorporate the trend of unit-body construction that became more prevalent in the early 1980s as automakers downsized their vehicle lines to satisfy increasing demand for fuel-economy after the 1973 oil crisis and the early 1980s recession. The SS model was reintroduced from mid-1983 to 1988 with a 305 cu in (5.0 L) V8.
In Depth is a three-hour program that airs monthly on C-SPAN 2 as part of their Book TV programming, and features a different writer each month. Each interview covers the breadth of that author's writing career, and incorporates viewer calls and e-mails. The show is typically broadcast live the first Sunday of each month. The first program was on February 6, 2000, and was a discussion with historian John Lukacs. For the first several years of the show, episodes were not produced during the summer months.
There have been a few exceptions to the practice of featuring one single author, as with the programs featuring the Strand Bookstore, Frank Williams and Edna Greene Medford's discussion of writings on Lincoln, and John K. Wilson and Jonathan Karp's discussions of the writings of Barack Obama and John McCain.
Sometimes, the profile will include taped footage of the author's own home or office, so as to give further perspective on how they approach the task of writing. On occasion (as with the programs with Shelby Foote and Harold Bloom) entire three-hour interviews have been conducted live at the home or office of the featured author.
Chevrolet (/ʃɛvrəˈleɪ/ shev-rə-LAY), colloquially referred to as Chevy and formally the Chevrolet Division of General Motors Company, is an American automobile division of the American manufacturer General Motors (GM). Louis Chevrolet and ousted General Motors founder William C. Durant started the company on November 3, 1911 as the Chevrolet Motor Car Company. Durant used the Chevrolet Motor Car Company to acquire a controlling stake in General Motors with a reverse merger occurring on May 2, 1918 and propelled himself back to the GM presidency. After Durant's second ousting in 1919, Alfred Sloan, with his maxim "a car for every purse and purpose," would pick the Chevrolet brand to become the volume leader in the General Motors family, selling mainstream vehicles to compete with Henry Ford's Model T in 1919 and overtaking Ford as the best-selling car in the United States by 1929.
Chevrolet-branded vehicles are sold in most automotive markets worldwide, with the notable exception of Oceania, where GM is represented by its Australian subsidiary, Holden. In 2005, Chevrolet was relaunched in Europe, primarily selling vehicles built by GM Daewoo of South Korea with the tagline "Daewoo has grown up enough to become Chevrolet", a move rooted in General Motors' attempt to build a global brand around Chevrolet. With the reintroduction of Chevrolet to Europe, GM intended Chevrolet to be a mainstream value brand, while GM's traditional European standard-bearers, Opel of Germany, and Vauxhall of England would be moved upmarket. However, GM reversed this move in late 2013, announcing that the brand would be withdrawn from Europe, with the exception of the Camaro and Corvette in 2016. Chevrolet vehicles will continue to be marketed in the CIS states, including Russia. After General Motors fully acquired GM Daewoo in 2011 to create GM Korea, the last usage of the Daewoo automotive brand was discontinued in its native South Korea and succeeded by Chevrolet.
Brand-new products and services are those introduced to a market along with a new brand.

This 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo "G-Body" is the development car for Detroit Speed and Engineering's G-Body suspension kit. It is a highly original car with just 80,000 miles on it, an original interior, and the original Chevy 305 V8 and 3-speed automatic transmission. But Detroit Speed's ride and handling division made magic out of mud by completely revamping the steering, suspension, chassis, brakes, wheels, and tires, turning this Monte Carlo in to a beautiful North Carolina Cruiser. Check out Detroit Speed's G-Body Upgrade Options at: http://www.detroitspeed.com Full Disclosure: Detroit Speed and Engineering provided a flight, a rental car, hotel room, and two delicious North Carolina meals towards the production costs of this video.
I had to cut the interior portion a little because the car had leave at the time. but all exterior, engine, exhaust shots are just as normal, but I do give a good look at the interior and a small radio demo. The tiny duchy of Monaco lies on the French Riviera between Menton and Nice. Its mood and elegance attract tourists, millionaires, ship owners, sportsmen, film- and popstars. The casino of Monte Carlo - which was engineered in 1862 by the architect of the Paris Opera, Garnier - is the most famous of its kind in the whole world. The Formula 1 race, when the narrow streets of the city are turned into a racetrack, is also a large event. Among other things circus and opera festivals, art exhibitions, football matches and tennis tournaments await the visitors. The Oceanographic Museum, founded by Prince Albert I. and at a time led by Cousteau, is the worlds largest such institute. In the Jardin Exotique the visitors may see tropical plants, cactuses and pine trees. The guards parade in front of...

One of the most beautiful medium sized cities in the world, Nice has something for everyone. And should you get bored, just a short train trip away you can also visit Monte Carlo (Monaco). The beaches are crystal blue and the city looks like a carbon copy of Paris (on a smaller scale). Actually we like Nice much more than Paris. Monaco, meh... we are not too sure yet. Travel video about destination Monaco in France. Located between Italy and France, on the Côte d'Azur, the Principality of Monaco is renowned for its high society, Grand Prix, scandal and where the cost of a square metre of land is the most expensive in the world. After the Vatican, it is the smallest yet most unique sovereign state in the world. Monte Carlo's Casino is undoubtedly the principality's most famous landmark. Designed by the architect of the Paris Opera House, Charles Garnier, this superb casino was built in 1878. With the opening of the casino, this previously relatively poor mini State, developed into the famous principality it is today. La Condamine is in the harbor district, with its typical French atmosphere and overlooking apartments, it connects Monaco Ville with Mont...

Paradies
wie bist du schön.
Welche Wonne
wenn die Sonne
und der Sommer nie vergeh'n.
Wo die Liebe lacht und feiert
nur das Glück alleine zählt

dahin fährt die ganze Welt
dahin fährt die ganze Welt.
Wenn Mimosen und Jasmin
im Sonnenschein erblüh'n
und die Rosen wie Rubin
aus allen Gärten blüh'n
zähl' auch ich ganz insgeheim
die Groschen und pack ein
dann verschließ' ich meine Tür
und fahr an die Cote D'azur.

vom Glück den kleinen Hauch

doch was soll's
die nächste Nacht
liebes Mädchen bin ich frei.
