What if there was an Empire-focussed short Star Wars animation, drawn with the crazy detail and shading of classic 80s anime that's all but vanished from Japan nowadays?
Well, I tried my best. Apologies in advance for not living up to Venus Wars standards.
Drawn and animated by yours truly over 4 years' worth of weekends, with music by the living guitar solo Zak Rahman and sound design by up and coming audio technician Joseph Leyva. Fans of Lucasarts' seminal 1994 TIE Fighter game may notice a few familiar sights and sounds. That “incoming missile” noise gives me horrible flashbacks to this day...

Hi, all! After three months of hard work, we've finally completed this short film about Windranger. Following "Hidden Talent"s win at the TI5 Short Film Contest, we've had much more talent join our team: we now have directors, storyboard artists, writers, concept artists, audio mixers, and more, which is why this Windranger film is a much more polished piece.
We are all avid Dota 2 fans, and we look forward to putting out more animated features. We hope you guys like this, and thank you for your support!

Story Outline
A variety of gifted individuals, from many different worlds and dimensions, all converge in one land – the land of Dota.
The land of Dota is famed for its sacred tower, carved with the names of many great heroes.
Here, they must complete quests bestowed to them by heroes who have already proven themselves worthy: they must participate in combat, gain experience, form bonds, and transform themselves into true heroes, so that they may carve their own name upon the Tower of Heroes!

Wesley Wales Mortimer "Wes" Anderson (born May 1, 1969) is an American film director, screenwriter, actor, and producer of features, short films and commercials. He was nominated for a 2001 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for The Royal Tenenbaums and a 2010 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for Fantastic Mr. Fox. His films employ similar aesthetics, using a deliberate, methodical cinematography, with mostly primary colors. His soundtracks feature folk and early rock music, in particular classic British rock. Anderson's films combine dry humor with poignant portrayals of flawed characters – often a mix of the wealthy and the working class. He is also known for working with many of the same actors and crew on varying projects.

What if there was an Empire-focussed short Star Wars animation, drawn with the crazy detail and shading of classic 80s anime that's all but vanished from Japan nowadays? Well, I tried my best. Apologies in advance for not living up to Venus Wars standards. Drawn and animated by yours truly over 4 years' worth of weekends, with music by the living guitar solo Zak Rahman and sound design by up and coming audio technician Joseph Leyva. What if there was an Empire-focussed short Star Wars animation, drawn with the crazy detail and shading of classic 80s anime that's all but vanished from Japan nowadays?
Well, I tried my best. Apologies in advance for not living up to Venus Wars standards.
Drawn and animated by yours truly over 4 years' worth of weekends, with music by the living guitar solo Zak Rahman and sound design by up and coming audio technician Joseph Leyva. Fans of Lucasarts' seminal 1994 TIE Fighter game may notice a few familiar sights and sounds. That “incoming missile” noise gives me horrible flashbacks to this day...

Following "Hidden Talent"s win at the TI5 Short Film Contest, we've had much more talent join our team: we now have directors, storyboard artists, writers, concept artists, audio mixers, and more, which is why this Windranger film is a much more polished piece.

Story Outline

Synopsis: Oftentimes, the ramifications of a decision aren’t felt until much later. After Andrew breaks up with his longtime girlfriend, Irene, he finds himself enjoying the bachelor life once more. But as time passes, traces of Irene begin to haunt him; Andrew starts to second guess himself and remembers why he was with Irene for so long. They were happy. They were safe. As regret nips at his feet, Andrew realizes that maybe he made the wrong choice. Maybe he can get a second chance and make it better this time. Or maybe the universe is a more fickle force than we can imagine.
Word from the Director:
First I'd like to thank you so much for taking the time out to watching this short film. About 3 months ago I wrote this as my Facebook status "It saddens me that we live in a generation where the more attention you give someone the more they're likely to pull away. Then of course the second you pretty much moved on with your life or when they've had alcohol in their system its like hold up, wait a minute and they act like they been looking for you their whole damn life.
This generation, everything happens instantly. You need more clothes, shop online. If you want food, you can order take out or make instant noodles. You need to know something, you google. The thought of working hard for something is just not in peoples dictionaries anymore."
I decided to create this short film in inspiration of that. I wanted to remind people to appreciate the small things in a relationship and not to take them for granted. No relationship can be one sided or just come easy, its always gonna be work but if your both willing to fight for it then it will be worth it. I hope you guys enjoyed the film. If you relate please feel free to share this with your friends.

In this video, the Skoll Foundation visits Alasdair Harris of Blue Ventures in Madagascar, where he is building sustainable coastal communities. This video debuted on the big screen at the 2015 Skoll Awards Ceremony, April 16, 2015, before Alasdair went on stage to receive his award from Skoll Foundation Founder and Chairman Jeff Skoll and President and CEO Sally Osberg.
Ten years ago, in a coastal village in Madagascar, Alasdair tested an elegantly simple model that put Blue Ventures on the map. He encouraged residents to take charge of their local fishery by cordoning off a small section of their octopus-fishing area for a designated period of time. When the area was re-opened, the community saw huge increases in their catch and incomes. In this video, you'll see one woman's reaction and how this drastically changed her family's life.
Building on this success, local communities created Madagascar’s first local committee to manage and conserve marine resources. Since that auspicious start, Blue Ventures has helped replicate this model along thousands of miles of coastline along the Indian Ocean. Beyond managing fisheries, Blue Ventures has integrated family planning and health services into its livelihoods and conservation work, showing the world that protecting the ocean can and should go hand-in-hand with improving lives.

Koro the Llama engages with Oti the pesky penguin in an epic fight over that last tasty berry. This short 'Free Culture' animation film was made with the free 3D software Blender and funded by the subscribers of the Blender Cloud platform. Already since 2007, Blender Institute successfully combines film and media production with improving a free and open source 3D creation pipeline. ABOUT THE DIRECTOR: A recent graduate of New York University with a B.F.A. in Film and Television, Bree Newsome stands at the forefront as one of the most promising young talents in the field of multimedia entertainment. She has received awards and honors from The National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, New York University, MTV, HBO and Saatchi & Saatchi, to name a few. For her final film project as an undergraduate at NYU, Newsome decided to return to her roots with WAKE, a tale steeped in the southern gothic tradition. Newsome wrote, co-produced, directed and edited the film in which she explores ideas about creation and power as well as religion and social custom. In Fall 2011, Newsome was invited to serve as the first-ever Artist in Residence for Saatchi & Saatchi at the company's headquarters in New York City, where she currently works and resides.
ABOUT THE FILM: After winning an award for Best Short Film at Hayti Heritage Film Festival held in Durham, NC in February 2010, WAKE was selected for official competition in New York University's prestigious First Run Film Festival where it went on to win numerous awards including an Audience Choice Award and craft awards for Producing, Art Direction and Acting. The film was also named as a finalist for the festival's highest honor, the esteemed Wasserman Award. Newsome is the first African-American to be nominated for this award in the undergraduate category (Spike Lee had previously won the award in the graduate category). As such, Newsome was honored in June 2010 with an invitation to screen her film at the Directors Guild of America in Hollywood. Re-setting the body/mind with nature is the best way I know to get back your true feelings of being and feeling human.
Feeling fulfilled cannot be accomplished from a synthetic, non authentic world. Most of us know this truth. Feeling truly fulfilled I have found can only really be felt and understood by the wonder of nature and the creatures that inhabit this beautiful magical planet.
We are going to take a short stroll around the farm and talk a little. Its so important ''not to forget'' about the ''Nature'' world and the creatures that live up her. Nature in many old texts means '' Spirits'' of Gaia or the planetary Spirit.
Living with an animal, bird, fish, reptile, growing a garden or taking care of your garden, take a bare foot walk grounded to the floor out in nature and many more other ways are all miraculous self healing therapies to re-set your mind and body with the ''MIRACLE'' and connection to all life as we know it.
As they say your best companion and love should be ''Nature''.
Make your home a living and honorable Sanctuary of Sophia or Gaia ... Whether you are going to plant a few herbs in a planter or a garden or just clean up your small space of Gaia that you have taken responsibility to take care of flourish its essence of life.
If you live in an apartment you can still go outside and be amazed by the birds and the bees all doing what they do.
One of these days you are going to want to live in a part of Gaia that is non polluted and life is still abounding , fresh and non perverted.
If you were going to only live for another 5 years how would you like to finish off your carnation or current life stream?
A question and many thoughts to really ponder on.
I have found that my evolution of many parts of myself has really been amplified by living with ''Nature'' not against it.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh -- the ideological mentor of the BJP which got its pracharak into the Prime Minister's Office in 2014 - announced that it is shedding its old image.
