Pego numa caneta e descarrego os nervos nesta que me parece ser a mais eficaz forma de violência. Concedo existência a quase bonitas frases, admita-se. Eu, um nada. Um nadinha narcisista de imaginação fértil e vincados ideais niilistas. Se estas paredes falassem, eu não precisaria de visitas. Um dia concretizar-se-á o meu plano e os teus netos hão-de gabar-se por seres meu contemporâneo. Não ligues, sofro ataques espontâneos de sucesso efémero que plantam ideias de glória megalómana no meu cérebro. A sério, eu tento não pensar nisso, mas confesso que às vezes não consigo disfarçar a ligeira sensação de que existem por aí lunáticos que me impingem às pessoas e explicam porque é que eu sou o máximo. Explica-me. Conhaque. Eu estou a gastar a tenra idade, numa de ver passar as horas até bater à porta a minha. Eu olho para a minha dignidade, numa de: tu és uma pêga encantadora, eu levava-te daqui para fora, mas tu adoras essa vida. Resta-me somente lamentar não poder ir só levitando, em vez de ter de rastejar por velhas ruas de desniveladas linhas tais, que nem os mais espampanantes pimpões, ilustres sabichões, escapam ao tropeção na calçada. Tem tão mais graça a desgraça de um nobre, mui nobre senhor, numa cena de humilhação na praça. Momentânea aproximação a nós: a merda, merdita, a escória desonrada, estropiada escumalha. Acendo o próximo cigarro com a ponta deste cigarro e o seguinte com a ponta do próximo. Se tudo correr como planeado, depois disso estou sedado o suficiente para voltar para o ócio. Eu sou o ópio em Pessoa. Isto aqui é fixe e não fatela. Compensa o mal que diz pelo bem que soa. Tão bem que soa. Eu e todos, quem destoa? Sei que estou a morder o isco mas chego à tona vitorioso, como um peixe que voa. A sério, eu ando a desperdiçar papéis de boa qualidade quando devia era estar a escrever na carne aquilo que eu sei de coisas. Oiçam só o Verne que existe em Nerve, o verme do verbo, mero servo. Corvo no meu ombro diz-me: “escreve”. Por detrás da expressão facial drunfada, demência ferve. – Ouve, este gajo deve perder noites nesta merda. – Achas que transparece? Esplêndido. – Nerve, andas a fazer muitos filmes e a sair pouco. Eu sei que ela te deixou mas, ouve, na vida, não é tudo gajas. – A cabra cravou memórias nestas paredes. Não sei se morro ou mudo de casa.
