Hey this level was so hard I had to post a video of how easier it becomes once you get how to do it. The best I had done was kill the first two lone juggernauts after several minutes, but when more started to spawn they would surround me and eventually get me.
I learned from a forum that this house is the best place to confuse the AI, and I had learned before that I could one shot the juggernauts if
I were to hit them on the head. Add them together, do not get headshots by luck, actually aim to get them, and this is pretty simple actually.
This video is the second time I beat the challenge (I made a mistake and I hadn't recorded the first one) so while I did beat IW's time (which is nice I guess) this could be much much faster if I hadn't miss so much.
Step 1: Learn to aim with the
Thumper. How? do what I did on the video, keep restarting until the first juggernaut is in the same place as on the video. When you approach that part you have to start to aim so that when you face the juggernaut your crosshair upper horizontal line is level with the bright red line of the background (pause the video, you'll see the bright red line). If you pause the video on every time I always am spot on or very close to that red line, that's because I have done it a lot so it already is second nature. That is the angle and distance that gets you headshots
. If the juggernaut is closer you won't get headshots because the rounds do not explode until some time after they have been fired, and the angle for longer distances is of course higher up, I have only learned the angle for closer shots and am good enough that headshots are no longer luck (but of course I am still missing too much), but during the video I was testing longer ranges, I even got a kill at long range at some
point.
Now that you know the angle its still a bit hard to ask you to do ten perfect shots, you may get one or two at first, so to help with that, use the level lines to guide you, the red line was one, but that one will only work with the first juggernaut, because later you'll be surrounded easily if you try to get them with that guide.
The house is great for playing with the juggernaut AI, and since you'll spend a lot of time there, find guides that get you headshots there. For example, when looking out of one window you can see a closed window frame, aim to the horizontal beam there and youll get headshots (the problem is that if you must back a bit because otherwise you'll be too close and the headshot will bounce like on the video), or when aiming at the door frame you have to angle so that the crosshair is level with the lines formed by the bricks on the wall (and then lower a bit), for explosive distance just make sure your back is against the wall.
The one I love because its easier to me (second easiest would be the door frame one), is the one I used the most after jumping through the window, peek aroudn the corner and level the crosshair with that line at the bottom of the posters on the wall down the alley, you can lower a bit and/or wait for the juggernaut to do a step more.
For the longe range shots, all the time I was aiming at one of the entrances, the juggernauts don't have to come that way but if they do, cool, I aim so that the vertical line from my crosshair is level with the whiteish poster on the background and the horizontal one with the top of that poster. But I think I hit when I lowered the aim a bit, but still the guide helps you get the initial angle.
Since when you are shot your view jumps to the sky then you must get them when they haven't noticed you yet, as such camp the area and dont try to see if they are coming (like when waiting at the door frame trying to look at the window next to it), if you do you'll probably see them, but they will see you too, and you probably wont headshot them there before they start shooting and sprinting towards you, you'll know they are coming because their weapons will appear first.
Finally, the last way to get them is not using guides, but the second nature you got from trying to headshot them using guides. When you get the chance and you hit them or flashbang them or whatever you can wait them to recover, and in the meantime position and aim yourself so that you headshot them, one example is on the first attempt, the 5th kill. Then you can start one shotting them without using guides at all, I got some like that, I got them around corners when they were following me.
I usually use Thumper and flashbangs when I want to slow one down so they group tighter. But this time I used a couple Claymores on my blind spots so that I could be alerted from juggernauts that just spawned and come from there and not die like on the first unsuccessful attempts :
P I try to hear their steps but its hard because the music hides them or I misjudge the direction.
