The name of the Love is Strange visual novel is meant to represent the fact that the game revolves around having the option to romance the 4 different love interests in the game (Chloe, Rachel, Kate, and Victoria). The user plays as Max, who can make dialogue and action decisions throughout that affects how the world and its characters interact with you. Love is Strange visual novel is set in a normal!AU, and Max does not possess any time powers whatsoever (and Rachel Amber is very much alive). The game hopes to capture a sense of growing adolescence and love, built by bonds through time and moments of compassion.
