Anwar (Hindi: अन्वर) is a 2007 Indian film written and directed by Manish Jha, who is famous for his work in Matrubhoomi. The film stars Siddharth Koirala, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav and Nauheed Cyrusi.
Anwar, a Muslim, lives a middle-class lifestyle in Lucknow, India, with his mother, brother, and sister-in-law, Suraiya. Anwar is researching ancient Hindu mandirs. The family rents out a room to a poor widow and her attractive daughter, Mehru, whom Anwar falls in love with.
Anwar is certain of Mehru's love for him and is shocked when he finds out that she has eloped with Udit, his friend, who is about to immigrate to America. He informs her mother, who in turn calls upon her nephew and kin to locate Mehru. They find the couple aboard a bus. Udit is killed, while Mehru is beaten. A guilt-ridden Anwar takes shelter in an ancient Hindu temple in Dholpur carrying a bag, which contains drawings of mandirs and notes on Lord Krishna, Devi Meera, and Mehru. This bag ends up with the police, who now believe that Anwar is a terrorist who is planning to detonate bombs in sacred Hindu temples.

Plot: "The Lost Coven" begins in ancient Rome, where a cursed coven of witches seeks to destroy mankind. When they are trapped by the forces of good, the curse doesn't die, it only lies in wait... In the present day, a skeptical archaeologist (Marcus Rush) has been on a quest to find evidence of the supernatural so he can use modern technology to analyze and debunk it. His search has depleted his life savings, and made him a laughing stock in academic society. But he has finally found hard evidence giving him the location of an island where he will find a centuries-old, dead-and-buried coven of witches. Before he can even leave for the island, devious individuals who want the Coven for themselves try to stop him. Marcus cons a group of hard-core mercenaries into joining him for protection, with promises of an easy gig and easy money. Not long after arriving, Marcus and his team are assaulted by a group of soldiers intent on getting to the Coven first. The action builds through firefights all over the island, followed by an even more disturbing revelation... have the witches been revived...?

Plot: Abdulla Roti was the first ever person to challenge Bombay's underworld Don, Kama, and his life was cut short when a bomb exploded in his bakery in Bandra. The second person to challenge Kama was Inspector Ram Singh, who did manage to arrest one of his associates, Girdhar, and bring him to Court, but ended up being held for contempt of court charges himself, and being suspended from duty. When he returns home that night, he finds the house in darkness. Upon entry, he finds the lifeless bodies of his wife, Savitri, and son, Sunny. Ram is unable to get proof against Kama and takes to alcohol; The third person to challenge Kama is one of his very own associates, Joseph, who absconds with a suitcase full of money along with his girlfriend, Julie. Both are hunted down and taken to Kama, who decides to spare Joseph only if Julie decides to become his. Julie and Joseph attempt to outsmart Kama, but their plot is discovered and Joseph's life ends. Now Inspector Avinash has been transferred from Delhi and has been assigned Kama's case. Avinash is married to Renu. Anwar, an informant leads Avinash to gold biscuits, but they turn out to be real biscuits resulting in all round embarrassment for the Police Department. Avinash is successful in arresting Girdhar, only to be told that this action will endanger Renu's life. The question remains will Avinash dare to continue crossing swords with Kama and become another casualty?

Plot: Mirza Baig and his wife live a wealthy lifestyle in Jaipur, India. They have been married for 15 years but have been unable to conceive. They have prayed and visited a number of holy Islamic sites, save for the Dhargah of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz in Ajmer. The couple travel to this holy site, which is thronged by Hindu, Sikh, Christian, and Muslim devotees, pray, and return home. Months later they are blessed with the birth of a baby boy who they name Yusuf. When Yusuf is 3, they re-visit the Dhargah for placing a Manat Ki Chaddhar. Years later Yusuf has grown up, has secured first class first in college and is considered a very eligible bachelor. His parents arrange his marriage, much to his dismay, a he has fallen in love with fellow-collegian, Salma, who comes from a middle-class background. He does not oppose his parents' choice and gets married - but is delighted when he finds out later that his bride is none other than Salma herself. The family settle down to a harmonious lifestyle. Then one day Mirza gets the call to visit Mecca and Madina and both he and his wife go to Bombay where they set sail for the holy pilgrimage. Yusuf accompanies them, leaving Salma alone in Jaipur. Several days pass and Yusuf does not return, leaving Salma frantic with worry and despair. A few months later she gets word that Yusuf has been located, she eagerly travels to Bombay to meet him - and gets the shock of her life when she finds out that he has now calls himself Aslam, has adopted the profession of a movie actor, and is living with a woman named Feroza, who is also the leading lady and Producer of the movie both are starring in.
