Bombing of the Prison Training School of the Gendarmerie (Chile)

During the morning, about 03.30am of November 19th 2015, one loud bang surprised a bastard jailer who was on guard at the Prison Training School of Gendarmerie. A homemade bomb made of compressed black powder starts a fire after being activated by a detonating fuse at a side gate of the guards school in the municipality of San Bernardo. The blast leaves no wounded, causing some damage to the infrastructure of the enclosure. Quickly Colonel Christian Alveal, Director of the School pointed to the press: “Always anarchist anti-systemic groups have threatened the School of Gendarmerie, its facilities and staff, and we permanently take safeguarding measures to effectively prevent events like these happening to people and damage to facilities.” For his part, Vice President Jorge Burgos said that “The investigation process is in full swing and I understand there has been policing results. This action will not go unpunished, which is important.”
After the explosion, comrade Kevin Garrido was arrested in a nearby area by the DIPOLCAR, who also stopped Joaquin Garcia, who is accused of this attack and the attempted bombing of the 12th Commission. Both were remanded in custody.

Vatan Budak – 5th anarchist killed by the Suruç bombing (Turkey)

Vatan Budak who was wounded in Suruç bombing passed away.
We lost our comrade, Vatan Budak who was wounded in Suruç (Pirsus) bombing and in intensive care for 16 days. Vatan was the member of United Anarchist Attack.
He is the 5th anarchist comrade killed in Suruç blast.
His funeral took place today in Gaziosmanpaşa, İstanbul.
This neighbourhood is predominantly fascist and his family is one of the few Kurdish families living there. Because of great threat of violence and danger to his family flags and banners were somehow restricted. They were fully displayed only in the cemetery, where speeches were made bidding him last farewell. He was buried under black and red flag.
Different anarchist groups and individuals were present.
Instead of a minute of silence – a whole life in struggle!
One person was reported arrested on their way to the funeral, but we haven’t got more info.

JAZIRA, Rojava (July 1, 2015) – Through history, with any identity that it might be, humanity has assembled around definitions such as freedom, equality and peace – and it always has risen in defiance of tyranny, oppression and cruelty. Freedom-lovers throughout the entire world have continuously been involved in a struggle to leave a free and peaceful future for their children.
The Kurdish people has played a big role in this revered struggle of peoples, as they continue to conduct their significant part. For thousands of years the pressure and war of deadly powers has not been reduced, yet our relentless people have always stood strong in face of those dark forces and have held high the flag of struggle. In order to grant freedom and democracy, whatever price it has been required, these people have paid confidently. This struggle of Kurdish people can be taken into account as the hardest and longest struggle of human history. Today, a streamer of this respected battle is waved by proud combatants of the People’s Defense Units and the Women’s Defense Units in Rojava Kurdistan, Syria.
This valued fight of our forces today has echoed widely throughout the entire world, and has been of abundant hope and belief for freedom-loving young men and women. For that, willing individuals from all around the world step forward to come to Rojava and be a part of this shared struggle of peoples. This assembly and reaching each other, defines well that humanity still lives with the same principles and purity. How hard determined unrighteous ones try, warriors who march taking those principles as value, are more resolute to let not the enemy forces a single opportunity. (more…)

Rolf Clemens Wagner, a Life of Resistance (Germany)

Former Red Army Faction member Rolf Clemens Wagner died on February 11, 2014.
Wagner had first become involved in underground armed politics in the aftermath of the RAF’s 1972 May Offensive in West Germany. Dozens of guerillas had been captured, and were being held in strict solitary confinement (in some cases, entire prison wings were emptied to isolate the political prisoners) and subjected to various forms of abuse. In the years following 1972, opposing the torture of solitary confinement would become a priority for a section of the revolutionary left, and when RAF prisoner Holger Meins died in a hunger strike in 1974, freeing prisoners by any means necessary was clearly on the agenda. As Wagner would later explain,
“In the period before 1977, freeing the comrades who were at risk was an absolute priority. They were being held in dead wings, and the first murders had already occurred: Holger Meins, Siegfried Hausner, and Ulrike Meinhof. The situation was extremely urgent. It was clear to us that freeing the prisoners was our most important and pressing objective. On the one hand, they faced a threat to their very existence, and on the other hand, we wanted them out.”
This is the context in which Wagner first went underground, joining a small group that had been established by Klaus Dorff, Waltraud Liewald, and Peter-Jürgen Boock, with plans to break RAF founder Andreas Baader out of prison. (more…)

International solidarity is our weapon
I can still see myself sitting there with Gudrun and Andreas, in front of us a long report on Vietcong attacks in the US military’s hinterland in South Vietnam.
Guerrilla units had attacked US military headquarters right in enemy territory. One single attack already conveyed the entire strategy. Attacks in the hinterland of imperialism by small armed guerrilla units. In international terms the hinterland was here, in the metropoles.
Years earlier, the chairman of North Vietnam’s communist party, Le Duan, in a
global-strategic speech, had spoken of the vision of armed struggles in the
capitalist centers. Now we were on our way.
What a certainty we had.
And what a smile on our faces.

A true life may end too soon,
but a meaningless one may not even really begin
The restless war against this world and its civilization has its own calendar. A calendar of fire, in whose pages, thousands of moments of hostilities between anarchists of Praxis and dominion, come alive. A calendar of memory against oblivion, which tries to cover within its dark veil all these moments, when anarchy armed itself and went on the offensive. A calendar of honor for all our brothers, who fell fighting in the dangerous journey for Dignity, Freedom and Anarchy. But even if they fell, they are not lost. They live among us. They are present in every moment of war against the existent, in every moment when conspiracies and dark plans of attack are woven. They live through acts of vengeance and they will continue to live as long as there are armed consciences ready to put their negations into action.
A calendar, in which our brother, anarchist comrade Mauricio Morales, has his own page written with the ink of memory, which seeks revenge…

On the 22nd of May, 2009, a black day dawns in its darkness. Our brother Mauricio Morales, putting his words into action, headed to the prison wardens’ school in Santiago, Chile, planning to blow it up. But the bomb he was carrying exploded prematurely and he fell dead before he was able to fulfill his plan of attack.
But our comrade was not forgotten. For five years now, dozens of attacks all around the world, were dedicated to him, honoring him in the way he deserves to.
In our world we do not weep for our dead, we do not perform memorials, sticking to miserable customary formalities. We carry our dead in our hearts. We carry them with us, in the fierce moments, where anarchist attack disturbs the order of this world.
Anarchy has neither victims, nor heroes.
Anarchy has a memory of living forms that honored their lives with their deaths and not shadowy zombies, which day by day honor their slow death with their life.
Mauri is on our side. He is the comrade we never met but shared with him the same passion for the destruction of this world. We shared with him the same desire to act aggressively, promoting continuous anarchist insurrection. Any of us could have been in his place and so we feel that he is one of us and we will never forget him…

R.O – Revolutionary Struggle: Statement by N.Maziotis and P.Roupa in memory of L.Foundas (Greece)

March 10th 2010. Lambros Foundas, member of the Revolutionary Struggle falls dead by the bullets of a cop in Dafni during a preparatory action of the organization. Four years later the proposed political action of Lambros Foundas and the Revolutionary Struggle where he acted, is even more topical, the choice of struggle and the strategy of the action even more imperative. Four years later and the terms of life of millions of people are becoming more and more miserable in the name of saving the economic and political system which is being buried deeper and deeper in the crisis.
Four years ago comrade Lambros Foundas gave his life to a political attempt to not turn decadence into a way of life, to not sacrifice people in order to save the system. He gave his life to a political attempt whose final aim was to throw the corpse of capitalism and with It the state, in the trash of history. He gave his life to open the only path for the complete overcoming of crises, to open the way for social liberation, for Social Revolution.
