The end

After several years of running this website, we decided to put an end to it.

The short notices of revoltes, attacks, actions, escapes,..., everything that forms the heart and the hands of the social war against all domination, will hopefully flower up somewhere else so that they continue to give courage and inspiration to rebels everywhere. Such was the goal of this website and we hope it served this goal well.

Brussels - Surveillance cameras blinded

BRUSSELS - Several surveillance cameras inside the metrostation Merode have been blinded with paint. The walls next to it were also decorated with huge tags.

Brussels - Residence of Egyptian ambassador attacked

BRUSSELS - Windows smashed, walls covered with paint, fire lightened in the street. The residence of the Egyptian Ambassador in Belgium has been targeted. In the night, around 1h30, several individuals threw stones and broke the back side windows of the residence (n° 13 of Avenue Franklin Roosevelt). They also threw paint against the building and improvised a fire in front of the building. The Ambassador of Egypt, Fatma El Zahraa Ottman, was in the building during the attack. A diplomatic officer called the police. But at their arrival, the attackers had already disappeared. Police didn't issue a report yet. The Egyptian Ambassade sent a communiqué out, stating they didn't condemn "any person nor group."

Brussels - Sabotage of electricty boxes goes out of control

ANDERLECHT - Since several weeks, youngsters are destroying electrical boxes in the area of Anderlecht. This practice makes the street lights go out. Police and electricity workers don't manage to control the situation. "When one electricity box is repaired, another one gets already destroyed," says a member of the Anderlecht city counsel. "Police doesn't have any chance to catch the authors of this sabotages, because everything goes very quickly."

Liège - Small explosion at police station

LIEGE - Around 9 'o clock in the evening, two big fireworks were placed on the windows of the police station of Droixhe (a poor area of Liège). The explosion was heavy enough to break the windows of the police station.
A testimony called to police and said that he saw two cars driving away and gave the numberplates. Police arrested four suspects (two from Droixhe, two from elsewhere in Liège)

Brussels - Police shoot 21-year old

 ANDERLECHT - Police shot the 21-year old Yacine Himeur during a control. When Yacine and his friend, driving a car, tried to avoid a police control, a civil police car blocked them a bit further. The policemen stepped out of the car and opened fire directly on the driver. Yacine was hit four times and is now still in a coma in the hospital. His fellow friend was released. Yacine still had to do a prison sentence of 32 month for thievery.

Brussels - A building of the prevention service burned down

BRUSSELS – During the night, the official Youth Centre of Neder-over-Hembeek was destroyed by arson. The centre is partially being ran by the BRAVVO organization. This BRAVVO centralizes the prevention policy of the city of Brussels. They hand out money to shop keepers to install CCTV, collect the administrative fines, organize patrols of city guards,… the supposedly “soft” side of the repression.

The 470 m2 of the building were ravaged by the fire.

Trucks and vans burned

FLEMALLE – In the industrial zoning, unknown persons put two trucks of a private company on fire. Both were destroyed. (31/12/2012)

LIEGE – Since several days, a wave of arsons against vehicles and vans touches the region and city of Liege. Last night, a company van was put on fire on the parking lot of a commercial centre in Herstal. The fire threatened to spread to the nearby commercial building, but firemen prevented further damage. Brussels - Five prison guards K.O.

BRUSSELS – In the prison of Saint-Gilles, tensions are rising since a few weeks. Yesterday, a prisoner who was brought before the internal disciplinary court attacked the five prison guards who were accompanying him. All five of them got wounded and had to be brought to the hospital. The prisoner, a trained kick-boxer, was transferred to the prison of Nivelles and put in isolation. The prison guard unions blame the over-population of the prison to be at the source of the tensions (almost 900 prisoners whereas officially, there’s place for 600).

Eupen - Spray-painting spree

EUPEN - During the night, unknown persons spraypainted several official buildings in the city centre of Eupen, like the building of the City Counsel and the Courthouse. 28/12/2012

Tongeren - Hoax bomb threat at Court

TONGEREN - Friday morning, police received a call saying a bomb had been planted in the Courthouse. Police evacuated the justice palace and swept the building. No bomb was found. The court reopened a few hours later.
