Just a few days after taking home the title at the 2016 Games Developer Conference Awards, CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3 has done it again, picking up the award for Game of the Year at the 2016 SXSW Gaming Awards on Sunday (March 20).
Her Story was named Mobile Game of the Year, while Pandemic Legacy was awarded the same in the Table Top category.
The Witcher 3 was the big winner at the event, also picking up wins for Excellence in Narrative and Excellence in Technical Achievement.
Bloodborne and Rise of the Tomb Raider followed The Witcher with two wins each in Excellence in Art and Excellence and Design, and Excellence in Animation and Most Enduring Character for Lara Croft respectively.
Other winners at the event included Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which won the award for Excellence in Gameplay, and Star Wars Battlefront, which brought home the win for Excellence in SFX.
