I have read many reviews on this product, and people seem to love this thing. So I decided to purchase one for myself.
Cure or at least minimize wrist pain by using a Logitech M570 Trackball.

Due to a car accident years ago, I suffer from wrist pain. It got extremely painful when using a mouse for extended periods of time. I wanted (more like needed) to try something different than a mouse for my input device.
I first tried the Logitech M570 Trackball at work. The first couple of days it seemed awkward, but soon after that I was completely used to it. When I would get home and start working on the computer, I noticed because I was still using a mouse at home, my wrist pain started up again. I decided to buy one for home and never looked back.
My wrist pain has been reduced so much that I don’t even notice it anymore.

YES, I KNOW MY DESK IS DUSTY. I thought I got all the dust and I didn't get far enough into that spot. I didn't realize it until the light hit it and I saw it in my rewatch of this video. I didn't want to redo the review. It's been cleaned up now! Don't waste your time commenting about it. :P

I needed to find a replacement wireless mouse for my Media Center in my Man Cave bedroom theater since the existing Gyration device I was using was eating batteries like crazy and also had horrible range. The replacement I found was this new wireless trackball which has much better range, is cheaper and easier to operate for someone not used to a Nintendo Wii style remote control. I have used this device for a few days and absolutely love it! The only down fall is the trackball itself will need to be cleaned every once in a while since it is a mechanical device but overall it's easier to operate with precision then the gyration and allows you to do things like drag and drop. I also picked one up for the Man Cave too so I can kick back in the racing simulator our on the couch and control the beast computer from across the room. Also another big perk of this device is the built in clickable mouse wheel that can be used to navigate webpages and was especially useful in PLeX media server which I use to encode my video sent to the Media Center TV from the Home Server.

Trackball
A trackball is a pointing device consisting of a ball held by a socket containing sensors to detect a rotation of the ball about two axes—like an upside-down mouse with an exposed protruding ball. The user rolls the ball with the thumb, fingers, or the palm of the hand to move a pointer.
Compared with a mouse, a trackball has no limits on effective travel; at times, a mouse can reach an edge of its working area while the operator still wishes to move the screen pointer farther. With a trackball, the operator just continues rolling, whereas a mouse would have to be lifted and re-positioned. Some trackballs have notably low friction, as well as being made of dense material such as glass, so they can be spun to make them coast. The trackball's buttons may be situated to that of a mouse or to a unique style that suits the user.
Large trackballs are common on CAD workstations for easy precision. Before the advent of the touchpad, small trackballs were common on portable computers, where there may be no desk space on which to run a mouse. Some small thumbballs clip onto the side of the keyboard and have integral buttons with the same function as mouse buttons.

I have read many reviews on this product, and people seem to love this thing. So I decided to purchase one for myself.
Cure or at least minimize wrist pain by using a Logitech M570 Trackball.

Due to a car accident years ago, I suffer from wrist pain. It got extremely painful when using a mouse for extended periods of time. I wanted (more like needed) to try something different than a mouse for my input device.
I first tried the Logitech M570 Trackball at work. The first couple of days it seemed awkward, but soon after that I was completely used to it. When I would get home and start working on the computer, I noticed because I was still using a mouse at home, my wrist pain started up again. I decided to buy one for home and never looked back.
My wrist pain has been reduced so much that I don’t even notice it anymore.

I needed to find a replacement wireless mouse for my Media Center in my Man Cave bedroom theater since the existing Gyration device I was using was eating batteries like crazy and also had horrible range. The replacement I found was this new wireless trackball which has much better range, is cheaper and easier to operate for someone not used to a Nintendo Wii style remote control. I have used this device for a few days and absolutely love it! The only down fall is the trackball itself will need to be cleaned every once in a while since it is a mechanical device but overall it's easier to operate with precision then the gyration and allows you to do things like drag and drop. I also picked one up for the Man Cave too so I can kick back in the racing simulator our on the couch and control the beast computer from across the room. Also another big perk of this device is the built in clickable mouse wheel that can be used to navigate webpages and was especially useful in PLeX media server which I use to encode my video sent to the Media Center TV from the Home Server.
