Patrice Wymore (born December 17, 1926) is an American television, film, and stage actress of the 1950s and 1960s.

Wymore was born in Miltonvale, Kansas, and at the age of six she began touring with her family, who were vaudeville performers. By the time she reached adulthood, she was pretty and had a good singing voice. She auditioned in New York City for a part in Up in Central Park, in which she performed in 1947. She then performed in the Broadway musical Hold It!, for which she won a Theatre World Award for "Promising Actress". Following her performance in All for Love in 1949, she was contacted by Warner Bros., and she moved to Hollywood.

Wymore's first film appearance was in the 1950 film Tea for Two, starring Doris Day and Gordon MacRae. That same year she starred in Rocky Mountain opposite Hollywood legend Errol Flynn, with whom she would become romantically involved. The two married in October 1950. They moved to Jamaica, and had a daughter, Arnella Flynn, born in 1953. Their daughter would later become a fashion model in Europe. Wymore continued to act, appearing in several films over the next few years, to include I'll See You in My Dreams, her second film alongside Doris Day. She also guest starred as herself in the 1951 film Starlift, performing the song "Liza (All the Clouds'll Roll Away)." In 1953, she appeared alongside Virginia Mayo in She's Back on Broadway, and that same year she starred opposite Randolph Scott in The Man Behind the Gun. In 1955 she appeared with her husband Errol Flynn and Anna Neagle in the film version of King's Rhapsody. Flynn was already in a physical and mental decline by the time they had married.

Errol Leslie Flynn (20 June 1909 – 14 October 1959) was an Australian-born American actor. He was known for his romantic swashbuckler roles in Hollywood films and his flamboyant lifestyle.

Errol Flynn was born in Hobart, Tasmania, where his father, Theodore Thomson Flynn, was a lecturer (1909) and later professor (1911) of biology at the University of Tasmania. Flynn was born at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Battery Point. His mother was born Lily Mary Young, but dropped the first names Lily Mary shortly after she was married and changed her name to Marelle. Flynn described his mother's family as "seafaring folk" and this appears to be where his life-long interest in boats and the sea originated. Despite Flynn's claims, the evidence indicates that he was not descended from any of the Bounty mutineers. Married at St John's Church of England, Balmain North, Sydney, New South Wales, on 23 January 1909, both of his parents were native-born Australians of Irish, English, and Scottish descent, with convict links to Tasmania long before Flynn's birth. Flynn, living at Mclean Avenue Chatswood, Sydney in 1926, attended Sydney Church of England Grammar School (Shore School) where he was the classmate of future Australian Prime Minister, John Gorton. He was expelled for fighting and, allegedly, having sex with a school laundress. He was also expelled from several other schools he had attended in Tasmania. At the age of 20 he moved to New Guinea where he bought a tobacco plantation, a business which failed. A copper mining venture in the hills near the Laloki Valley, behind the present national capital, Port Moresby, also failed.

Gene Nelson (March 24, 1920 – September 16, 1996) was an American dancer, actor, screenwriter, and director.

Born Leander Eugene Berg in Astoria, Oregon, he moved to Seattle when he was one year old. He was inspired to become a dancer by watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers films when he was a child. After serving in the Army during World War II during which he also performed in the musical This Is the Army, Nelson landed his first Broadway role in Lend an Ear, for which he received the Theatre World Award. He also appeared on stage in Follies, which garnered him a Tony Award nomination, and Good News.

Gene Nelson played Will Parker in Oklahoma! (1955 film) and also starred as Buddy in the 1971 Broadway musical Follies, for which he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor. The iconic production featured a score by Stephen Sondheim and was co-directed by Michael Bennett (also choreographer) and Harold Prince (also producer); the cast also included Alexis Smith, Yvonne de Carlo, Dorothy Collins, Ethel Barrymore Colt, Ethel Shutta, and John McMartin.

Kirk Douglas (born Issur Danielovitch, Russian: И́сер Даниело́вич; December 9, 1916) is an American stage and film actor, film producer and author. His popular films include Out of the Past (1947), Champion (1949), Ace in the Hole (1951), The Bad and the Beautiful (1952), Lust for Life (1956), Paths of Glory (1957), Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957), Spartacus (1960), and Lonely Are the Brave (1962).

He is No.17 on the American Film Institute's list of the greatest male American screen legends of all time, making him the highest-ranked living person on the list. In 1996, he received the Academy Honorary Award "for 50 years as a creative and moral force in the motion picture community."

Douglas was born Issur Danielovitch in Amsterdam, New York, the son of Bryna "Bertha" (née Sanglel) and Herschel "Harry" Danielovitch, a businessman. His parents were Jewish immigrants from Gomel, Belarus. His father's brother, who emigrated earlier, used the surname Demsky, which Douglas's family adopted in the United States. In addition to their surname, his parents also changed their given names to Harry and Bertha. Douglas grew up as Izzy Demsky and legally changed his name to Kirk Douglas before entering the Navy during World War II.

Eve Miller (8 August 1923 – 17 August 1973), was an American actress who appeared in 41 films between 1945 and 1961. She was born in Los Angeles, California, USA and died in Van Nuys, California by suicide aged 50.

Eve Miller's original name was "Eve Turner" but she changed it when she began her career in movies. Born in Los Angeles, California, she was raised in San Francisco. Her father was a piano salesman. During the early years of World War II Miller worked as a welder in a shipyard. However before the war ended she had taken a job as a department store clerk, and later as a showgirl, eventually playing at San Francisco's Folies Bergère. This led to her first (and uncredited) role as a showgirl in 1945's Diamond Horseshoe.

In 1951, after several small parts in television and movies such as The Vicious Years (1950), Miller came to the attention of producer-director Ida Lupino and through her influence was cast in Warner Brothers' The Big Trees, starring opposite Kirk Douglas. Several more parts followed such as The Winning Team with Ronald Reagan and Kansas Pacific starring Sterling Hayden.
