Sony Pictures has released the very first trailer for
The Magnificent Seven online. The updated western based on
Kurosawa’s
Seven Samurai is about a group of desperate townspeople who employ the protection from seven outlaws, stars
Denzel Washington,
Chris Pratt,
Ethan Hawke, and
Vincent D’Onofrio. The movie is directed by
Antoine Fuqua and comes to theatres
September 23rd.
With filming now underway,
Justice League is continuing to add to their already impressive list of supporting actors with a new addition to the cast announced via
THR. Willem Dafoe is the latest actor to join, and the second from
Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies; the first being
J.K. Simmons who will be playing
Commissioner Gordon. THR’s report says his part is being kept under lock and key, only to say that he is playing a “good guy” in the movie.
Though Avengers Age of Ultron was a box office smash, it didn’t quite hit the mark with fans especially, as the original
Avengers did. A fact that director
Joss Whedon is very aware of. At a
Q&A; with
Mark Ruffalo at the
Tribeca Film Festival, Whedon addressed the perception of
Age of Ultron and his feelings on it from a report via
Vulture.
