Amato (Greek: Amathous) is a comune and town in the province of Catanzaro in the Calabria region of Italy.
Amato is one of the oldest towns in Calabria. It is mentioned by the Greek philosopher Aristotle, who calls it "Portus Amati Fluminis" (harbour of the Amato River). It is also mentioned by the Roman Pliny the Elder in one of his books. He calls it "Sinus Lametinus" (Lametino Harbour).
It appears that the people of Amato originated from the ancient city of Lametia, on the promontory of the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia, near the mouth of the Amato River. It was one of the most thriving cities of old Calabria, which at that time was called Bruttium.
From an English publication entitled "Brief History of Amato", we learn that Amato existed many years before the foundation of Rome. From this book we also learn that at that time Amato was very industrious and had a population of about 20,000 people. Its economy was centered around the very important textile industry, with about 1300 looms at work. In fact even up to a few years ago many Amatese women had a loom and many of them were very capable weavers. Production of the silkworm was also a very popular activity.

Kelly Maria Ripa (born October 2, 1970) is an American actress, talk show host, and television producer. Ripa, who played Hayley Vaughan on the television soap opera All My Children from 1990–2002, is best known as host of the popular syndicated morning talk show Live! with Kelly. Additionally, Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos own a New York based production company, Milojo.
In 2012, The Hollywood Reporter named her one of the Most Powerful People in Media.
Ripa was born in Stratford, New Jersey, the daughter of Esther, a homemaker, and Joseph Ripa, a labor-union president and bus driver. She has a younger sister, Linda, who is a children's book author. She is of Italian and Irish descent. Her father has been the Democratic County Clerk for Camden County, New Jersey since June 2009. She is the first in her family to enter the acting profession. She has studied ballet since age three, plays the piano, and, in her words, is "no Barbra Streisand," but can carry a tune.
Ripa graduated from Eastern High School in Voorhees Township, New Jersey, where she became a cheerleader and was later encouraged by her drama teacher to pursue acting. "I owe so much of my career to Jim Beckley," she said. "He thought I was a natural performer and so he gave me the lead in the next show." She starred in local theatre productions and was discovered while performing in the comedy play The Ugly Duckling (c. 1941), by A.A. Milne, during her senior year. She attended Camden County College studying psychology, but dropped out and moved to New York City to be an actress.

Michael Gregory "Mike" Rowe (
/ˈroʊ/; born March 18, 1962) is an American media personality best known as the host of the Discovery Channel series Dirty Jobs. He can also be heard as narrator on a variety of series and has appeared in recurring commercials for Ford Motor Company.
Rowe was born in Baltimore, Maryland to parents John and Peggy Rowe. Rowe has said in commercials for Dirty Jobs that the show is a tribute to his father and grandfather. Rowe became an Eagle Scout on January 2, 1979 in Troop 16 in Baltimore. During his service project for Eagle Scout at the Maryland School for the Blind, he read aloud to students, and he cites this as one of the reasons he became interested in narrating and writing. On being an Eagle Scout he said "The Eagle Award is not really meant for people who need to be dragged across the finish line. It's meant for a select few... ."'
Rowe attended Kenwood Presbyterian Church in Baltimore when he was younger; his parents still regularly attend. Rowe attended Overlea High School, where he excelled in both theater and singing under the tutelage of choir director Freddie King, whom Rowe credits for first interesting him in performing. An early stutterer, Rowe was able to overcome the handicap while in school. After graduation from high school, he attended Essex Community College, and briefly sang with the Chorus of the Chesapeake, which at the time was directed by King. He later graduated from Towson University with a degree in Communication Studies.

Back on dry land she has dinner with two men who have their own stories to tell about one of the world's worst maritime disasters: the sinking of the Titanic. After exploring nearby St John's, the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador Zoe takes to the water and her boat is immediately surrounded by Hump Back whales. Back on dry land she has dinner with two men who have their own stories to tell about one of the world's worst maritime disasters: the sinking of the Titanic.
Determined to find out more about the disaster she travels to Halifax, Nova Scotia where she meets an expert on the subject and visits the cemetery where many of the Titanic's victims are buried. Continuing the theme Zoe checks out a haunted restaurant in the town, which used to be a funeral parlour, where ghostly going's on are still reported! Zoe then takes a drive 300km north to Cape Breton Island on the northern tip of Nova Scotia, or "New Scotland", to discover the thriving Gaelic culture. She is helped in this task by a whiskey-loving distillery manager and a whole bunch of Gaelic speaking Ceilidh-dancing locals. To blow away the cobwebs, the next day Zoe treks one of the many breath-taking walking trails in the region.
Next, it's a ferry journey to Prince Edward Island, where using only peddle-power, Zoe zigzag's across the Island learning about the local passion for a form of horse racing called 'Harness racing', learns how to dig for massive bar clams and cooks them up on the beach, discovering just why Anne of Green Gables which was set on the Island is so popular in Japan, strange but true!
Leaving Prince Edward Island via the 8 mile long Confederation Bridge, Zoe's next port of call is New Brunswick. Here she takes to the sea once more, well twice more actually, firstly to kayak amongst the rocks on a beach which has one of the highest tides in the world, a whopping 52 feet! And secondly to fish for lobsters and then be taught how to eat them the local way, i.e. not getting covered from head to foot in lobster juice.
From here Zoe takes a flight inland to the historical city of Quebec. She arrives just in time for the New France Festival which celebrates the arrival of the European settlers into the region. Walking the streets of this beautiful city, Zoe unearths the bloody history of the battles that were fought here between the English and the French whose influence is still so strong, with 90% of the population speaking French as a first language. Zoe then discovers an even older local culture as she visits Wendake, a Huron-Wendat first nations reserve 15 km outside Quebec city which has a couple of surprises in store. For Zoe, the highlight of this flying visit to Quebec comes when she is invited to join in rehearsals by Cirque de Soleil, the unique circus troop who thrill audiences around the world with their daring do and are based here in Quebec. This part of Zoe's adventure ends as she watches her new found friends entertain at that evening's performance.
The last leg of the journey sees Zoe fly to Toronto, the capital of Ontario where she tries her hand at the extreme sport of walking around the outside of the continent's highest structure, nearly 1200ft up, with no hand rail! Earning a well-deserved rest, she chills with Lifeguards on the beach, surprising in itself, as Toronto is hundreds of miles inland. From here it's a short drive down the road taking in the engineering marvel that is the St Lawrence Seaway, finishing her voyage of self-discovery overlooking the Majestic Niagara Falls.

A group of friends and my self took a car after easter holidays and travelled all around Spain stopping in places such as Cadaques, Barcellona Girona, Granada and many more. The all thing was filmed with a GoPro Hero2 and edited by my self ( I apologise for the shaky hand). Finally, I like to think that we didn't only travel through Spain, but we truly lived it, and I hope you can see it in this video.
