Chefs in 12 Destinations.
What is healthy food?
The idea behind Health Cuisine is that we already have all the answers about healthy food as it is passed on from generation-to-generation in various cultures. We believe, however, that we need to rediscover more of what we already know and that we preserve, improve and modernize those healthy and delicious cuisines.
So to share 'what is already out there', we personally visit different destinations to gather different cultural & culinary perspectives and experience the cuisines, to shoot photo's, to write about the chefs, the suppliers, the food and about the Spa & Wellness at the hotels and resorts.

On 12/12/12, we published the first book titled 'From
Farm to Fork in
Twente - Health Cuisine in the
Country Estate of The Netherlands' (a prelude to the international book). This (mini) Health Cuisine book features 4 acclaimed
Dutch Chefs and various artisan organic food and beverage producers in upstate Twente in the east of the country. 'From Farm to Fork in Twente' is available in
English in
January 2013.
Upcoming destinations include
Indonesia,
Jordan,
Poland,
Italy,
Austria (or
Switzerland) and
India. Our our norm is to only feature Chefs and Restaurants who are globally recognized as 'best-practise' in the field of healthy gastronomy in the luxury Wellness &
Hospitality Industry. Many of the participating Chefs have in fact published their own culinary books.
The Hotels where they work received multiple accolades and travel/gourmet/wellness awards globally from, for instance, the prestigious
Guide Michelin, GaultMillau, SpaFinder,
TTG Travel Awards, Tatler and
Condé Nast Traveler's
Hot List.
