Subscription business model

The subscription business model is a business model where a customer must pay a subscription price to have access to the product/service. The model was pioneered by magazines and newspapers, but is now used by many businesses and websites.

Rather than selling products individually, a subscription sells periodic (monthly or yearly or seasonal) use or access to a product or service, or, in the case of such non-profit organizations as opera companies or symphony orchestras, it sells tickets to the entire run of five to fifteen scheduled performances for an entire season. Thus, a one-time sale of a product can become a recurring sale and can build brand loyalty. It is used for anything where a user is tracked in both a subscribed and unsubscribed status.

Membership fees to some types of organizations, such as trade unions, are also known as subscriptions.

Industries that use this model include mail order book sales clubs and music sales clubs, cable television, satellite television providers with pay-TV channels, satellite radio, telephone companies, cell phone companies, internet providers, software providers, websites (e.g., blogging websites), business solutions providers, financial services firms, fitness clubs, lawn mowing and snowplowing services and pharmaceuticals, as well as the traditional newspapers, magazines and academic journals.

History

Tata DOCOMO is part of the Indian conglomerate Tata Group. The company received the license to operate GSM services in nineteen telecom circles and was allotted spectrum in eighteen of these circles and launched GSM services on 24 June 2009. It began operations first in South India and currently operates GSM services in eighteen of twenty two telecom circles. It has licences to operate in Delhi but has not been allocated spectrum from the Government. Docomo provides services throughout India. Tata DOCOMO offers both prepaid and postpaid cellular phone services. It has become very popular with its one-second pulse especially in semi-urban and rural areas.

Rahul Pandey (Singer)

Rahul Pandey (Bengali: রাহুল পান্ডে) is an Indian Bollywood Playback singer and songwriter. He debuted in the industry with the song Haseena Tu kameena Mein from the movie Happy Ending in 2014.

Early life

Rahul Pandey was born on 4th November 1984 to Mr. Hirdesh Pandey & Mrs. Renu Pandey in Kolkata, West Bengal. He did his early schooling from Birla High School, Kolkata and then finished his collegiate studies from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. Post-graduation, he moved to Mumbai to pursue business management from IIPM, Mumbai. He is an MBA in Marketing. After completing MBA, Rahul worked with an MNC for a year and then joined a production house as the Brand Manager. After this, he got into music full time and started chasing his dream of becoming a playback singer in 2012.

Career

Rahul Pandey debuted with the Bollywood hit song Haseena tu kameena mein from the 2014 romantic comedy Hindi film Happy Ending (film). He then sang the song Jab We Met from the movie Hero. Rahul has also sung Telugu hits like Hey Akhil from the movie Akhil – The Power of Jua and the song Alare Aala from the movie Soukhyam.
