Maida Pakora (or bhajia) is quick Indian snacks, appetizers, starters recipe. Traditionally chickpea flour (Besan) is used for making Pakoras but this recipe is little different as we will use Maida as a main ingredient. You can enjoy this easy and quick Indian starter in breakfast, evening, tea time. Make it for parties. Here is the Ingredients list for this amazing appetizer recipe:

Suji (Semolina or Rawa): 3 tbs,
Yogurt (Curd): ½ cup thick,

In the year 2011, Diamond signed a contract with Buhler AG, Switzerland, a world leader in building flour mills to put up a state- of- the- art plant with a capacity 275 Metric Tonne per Day. This was the first flour mill in India to import the new generation equipment entirely from Europe. The plant was commissioned in February 2013 and from then onwards is producing top notch products in the state of Kerala. The advanced machines from Europe are made of food safe materials and also made to meet the stringent European Union norms in food safety and traceability. The complete plant is run on Wincos software provided by Buhler using Siemens PLC.
Carefully selected wheat grains are blended and thoroughly cleaned to remove all inherent impurities before milling them in to various end products like Maida, Semolina, Atta and Bran.
At each stage of the process, samples are drawn and checked for quality before packing in food safe bags. The by-product Bran goes to cattle feed industry.
The entire air from the plant is discharged into the atmosphere after going through high quality air jet filters to ensure no emission in to environment.
Starting from wheat receipt to final product packing is completely automated in such a way that the products are of highest quality and are untouched by human hands during the whole production process.
Fully trained and qualified persons at each stage of process ensure utmost purity and quality are delivered. Fully equipped laboratory compliments the state of the art production process plant in delivering pure and safe food to customers.

This Maida burfi is a very easy,quick and melt in the mouth sweet that you can make for this Diwali.
INGREDIENTS:
Sugar 1 cup
Water as required
All purpose flour 1 cup
Milk 250 ml
Cashew nuts 5 nos
Almonds 5 nos
Ghee 1-2 tbs
Poppy seeds ½ tsp
METHOD:
1. Boil sugar, water in a pan until it get one string consistency.
2. In a bowl mix all purpose flour, milk and mix it to make thin slurry without any lumps.
3. Pour this slurry to sugar syrup pan by stirring it continuously.
4. Once it form a lump, cashew nuts, almonds, ghee and mix it for 1 min.
5. Transfer into greased plate and ghee and press it with ladle.
6. Sprinkle toasted poppy seeds and press it, allow it rest for 15 mins in refrigerator or outside.
7. Cut into pieces with greased knife.
8. Now maida burfi is ready to serve.

Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women This Maida burfi is a very easy,quick and melt in the mouth sweet that you can make for this Diwali. INGREDIENTS: Sugar 1 cup Water as required All purpose flour 1 cup Milk 250 ml Cashew nuts 5 nos Almonds 5 nos Ghee 1-2 tbs Poppy seeds ½ tsp METHOD: 1. Boil sugar, water in a pan until it get one string consistency. 2. In a bowl mix all purpose flour, milk and mix it to make thin slurry without any lumps. 3. Pour this slurry to sugar syrup pan by stirring it continuously. 4. Once it form a lump, cashew nuts, almonds, ghee and mix it for 1 min. 5. Transfer into greased plate and ghee and press it with ladle. 6. Sprinkle toasted poppy seeds and press it, allow it rest for 15 mins in refrigerator or outside. 7. Cut into pieces with greased knife. 8. Now maida burfi is ready to serve. -

The Diamond Roller Flour Mills Private Limited is the wheat processing unit situated at Kottayam, Kerala. Here quality wheat products such as Maida, Atta and Sooji are produced. Clean and hygienically built and maintained mill building and warehouses ensures utmost hygienic products. The water requirement is met from Rainwater Harvesting and modern filtration and treatment system .This ensures that the water used for the food industry complies with Food Safety Standards. Since wheat is not grown in the southern part of India, the mill initiated the process of building 12000 Metric Tonne of Steel silo storage to ensure continuous supply of quality raw material. This project is designed and supplied by Buhler AG, Switzerland and GSI, USA.
The beauty of quality... the importance of customer relationship... the assurance of offering the best products... These are the three things that 'Diamond' believes in. They always offer quality products without any compromise. This is their strength and with the support of their esteemed customers Diamond Roller Flour Mills has been successful for the last 21 years.
In the year 2011, Diamond signed a contract with Buhler AG, Switzerland, a world leader in building flour mills to put up a state- of- the- art plant with a capacity 275 Metric Tonne per Day. This was the first flour mill in India to import the new generation equipment entirely from Europe. The plant was commissioned in February 2013 and from then onwards is producing top notch products in the state of Kerala. The advanced machines from Europe are made of food safe materials and also made to meet the stringent European Union norms in food safety and traceability. The complete plant is run on Wincos software provided by Buhler using Siemens PLC.
Carefully selected wheat grains are blended and thoroughly cleaned to remove all inherent impurities before milling them in to various end products like Maida, Semolina, Atta and Bran.
At each stage of the process, samples are drawn and checked for quality before packing in food safe bags. The by-product Bran goes to cattle feed industry.
The entire air from the plant is discharged into the atmosphere after going through high quality air jet filters to ensure no emission in to environment.
Starting from wheat receipt to final product packing is completely automated in such a way that the products are of highest quality and are untouched by human hands during the whole production process.
Fully trained and qualified persons at each stage of process ensure utmost purity and quality are delivered. Fully equipped laboratory compliments the state of the art production process plant in delivering pure and safe food to customers.
Diamond is one of the first flour mills that is certified for the Food Safety Management system under FSSC 22000-2011 by DNV.

This Maida burfi is a very easy,quick and melt in the mouth sweet that you can make for this Diwali.
INGREDIENTS:
Sugar 1 cup
Water as required
All purpose flour 1 cup
Milk 250 ml
Cashew nuts 5 nos
Almonds 5 nos
Ghee 1-2 tbs
Poppy seeds ½ tsp
METHOD:
1. Boil sugar, water in a pan until it get one string consistency.
2. In a bowl mix all purpose flour, milk and mix it to make thin slurry without any lumps.
3. Pour this slurry to sugar syrup pan by stirring it continuously.
4. Once it form a lump, cashew nuts, almonds, ghee and mix it for 1 min.
5. Transfer into greased plate and ghee and press it with ladle.
6. Sprinkle toasted poppy seeds and press it, allow it rest for 15 mins in refrigerator or outside.
7. Cut into pieces with greased knife.
8. Now maida burfi is ready to serve.
