Mammootty
Mammootty (born Muhammad Kutty Ismail Paniparambil on 7 September 1951) is an Indian film actor and producer best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He has also acted in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada films. In a career spanning over three decades, he has acted in over 350 films.
Mammmotty has been awarded the National Film Award for Best Actor three times, a record shared with Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Hassan. He has also won five Kerala State Film Awards for best actor and twelve Filmfare Awards South. In 1998, he was awarded the Padma Shri for his contributions towards the arts. He has also received a honorary doctorate from the University of Kerala in January 2010 and by the University of Calicut in December 2010.
Mammootty is the chairman of Malayalam Communications, which runs the Malayalam television channels Kairali TV, People TV and WE TV. He is also the goodwill ambassador of the Akshaya project. He is the patron of the Pain and Palliative Care Society, a charitable organisation in Kerala formed with the aim of improving the quality of life among patients with advanced cancer. He has been working with the Pain and Palliative Care Centre situated in Kozhikode, India.

Mammootty plays the role of Police Constable Karikkamuri Shanmugham, who ironically is a hit man and a contract killer. The film features cinematography by Amal Neerad. The film was a comeback for actor Rahman to Malayalam cinema.
Black is based on the underground activities in the city of Kochi(Cochin). Shanmughan (Mammooty) plays a Head Police Constable but also a hitman who does his job with perfection. On the top of the underworld, there is a man, Advocate Devin Carlos Padaveedan (Lal). He and Shanmughan are accomplices.
A newly appointed police officer, Ashok (Rahman), tries to clean up the city from the criminals, but fails to do so as he is killed by Padaveedan. Shanmugan is not very happy about the death of Ashok, and creates some indifference between the friends. After Shanmugan finds his own daughter, he wants to live a peaceful life, but the transformation is not acceptable to Padaveedan, and he wants Shanmughan dead.
This changes the situation, and as Shanmughan asks City Police Commissioner (Babu Antony) for aiding him to kill the gangsters, he could only speak about putting them in jail. This leads to Shanmughan going against the criminals and eliminating them one by one.
At the same time, Padaveedan is ready for the arrival of his old friend and current enemy - the man from darkness.

Archeologists are hailing the discovery of an ancient temple built to a pre-Hispanic god of wind in the Tlatelolca neighborhood of what is now Mexico City, IFL Science reported Friday.According to the report, a supermarket was constructed on top of the temple in the middle of the 20th century.
