This a serious and personal video log discussion about my
Twin Brother's
Mental Illness and dealing with
Bipolar Disorder. The synopsis of this video is my Brother was sitting on the kitchen floor and told me to call our
Mother that he was thinking about cutting himself and watching himself bleed.
My Mother wanted to tell me to wake up our Dad but he was sleeping and probably does not know how to deal with it anymore. Although it is duly noted, our
Father took down my Brother's tent that he was using to sit out side. To cope, my Brother began writing sticky notes and placing them everywhere. And this video show cases his struggles with
Bipolar, and the lows.
Helpless I decided to try a different approach and rather get angry, I calmly interviewed him. I think it helped and distracted him a bit. My brother fully discloses this video to the public and would like to show his psychiatry and psychological workers in the future. It is different just talking about your issues of living with a mental illness for an hour to professionals, as with the family, it is far more difficult when you actually have to live with them. The struggle isn't in the mentally ill, but the families as well and I would like to show case it.
Thank you,

Suicide is a very serious issue and not meant to be taken lightly. You are not alone! A few months back, I let him drive to the
Emergency Hospital at
Regions for suicidal idealizations. He was speeding and I didn't notice and we got caught by the cops. But in the end no price can match someone's life and it is highly encouraged that you seek help and be honest whether you are embarrassed or ashamed or not.
Sometimes, living with a mental illness isn't about happiness it is about survival. If you are in a dire case of emergency between life and death please call:

Everybody's life is worth it, including yours. It is important to seek help, even in times of need. No one can make it alone.
Cherish your life. And at least be grateful that you are alive and surviving.
Thank you,
Kyle.
