Chairman of UCPN-Maoist, Puspakamal Dahal Prachanda has threatened to capture the country. Addressing the power show organized by 30 political party alliance headed by UCPN-Maoist in the capital on Saturday, Prachanda threatened to capture Nepal if the ruling parties Nepali Congress and CPN-UML did not correct the constitution writing process. Prachanda has warned of revolt if the ruling parties did not correct their mistake. Prachanda, who had spent most of his time in backbiting of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, urged the ruling parties that the existing Constituent Assembly (CA) was possible not because of the election that was held on Mangsir 4, but because of rigorous effort of his party. He added that the existing CA was possible in the nation with support of Dalit, women, Madhesi, different ethnical groups among others. He also opined that the CA was not the personal property of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, therefore, the ruling coalition should not move ahead in the strength of their majority in the CA, added Prachanda. He also urged the ruling parties not to insult the CA which was made possible on the basis of revolution. The UCPN-M boss urged the CPN-UML to merge into Nepali Congress if it was interested to involve in corruption in the country. He also remembered the late prime minister Girija Prashad Koirala saying that late Koirala had capacity to understand the issues related to peace and 12 point agreement, which made between the then Maoist parity and the government.
