Said as much.::Bobby Sands: When you're hung from a cross you're gonna say anything. Jesus offers him a seat next to his daddy in a place called paradise you're always gonna put your hand up and have a piece of that.::Father Dominic Moran: Aye. Even when it's nailed to your cross.
Father Dominic Moran: [offering Sands a cigarette] Bit of a break from smokin' the Bible, eh?::Bobby Sands: [agrees]::Father Dominic Moran: Anyone work out which book is the best smoke?::Bobby Sands: We only smoke the Lamentations. A right miserable cigarette.

Quotes:
Doctor: Where did you go?::Patient: ere, there, anywhere, I guess. Just roamed around working at all sorts of jobs. Anything I could get I took.::Doctor: Sounds pretty rough for a boy that age.::Patient: Believe me, it was. Some of the things I had to do weren't fit for a white man... [after a pause] Sorry, what I meant to say was that...::Doctor: It's all right. Go on.::Patient: Look, I said i was sorry.::Doctor: What do you expect me to do? Smile? Let's not make a thing out of it.::Patient: You can appreciate that I apologized.::Doctor: I do, I do, but you make it sound like an achievement.::Patient: It is for me.::Doctor: Look, you wanna go on with this?::Patient: [Smiles] Sure, why not. It's a great pastime,
Doctor: [furiously to the patient] You crud! You vicious, slimy. rotten little crud! [He slams the door] Let me tell you something. Do you know what I wanted most? Despite what you are and despite what you were, I wanted to help you. I wanted to kill you. I would enjoy to kill you right now with my bare hands. But more than I wanted to kill you, I wanted to help you. Know what that makes me? More than a good man that makes me a doctor!
Doctor: [angrily to the Patient] This is my country! This is where I've done what I've done, and if there were a million cruds like you, all sick like you are sick, all shouting, 'Down, destroy, degrade,' and if there were 20 million more sick enough to listen to them, you are still gonna lose! You're gonna lose, Mister, because there is something in this country, something so big, so strong that you don't even know... something big enough to take it from people like you and come back and nail you into the ground. You're walking out of here? You are going nowhere! Now get out!
Doctor: [to the young psychiatrist] In all those many months there's been times when I was uneasy, times when I was repelled, but that was the point at which I became frightened... and the really frightening thing was that I wasn't sure just what I was frightened of.
Doctor: You still have the mentality of a storm trooper.::Patient: Thank you. I take that as a compliment. They must be pretty smart, those storm troopers. They own Europe. they took it over just like that, and, you know, the first thing they did was to remake Europe. And how did they do that? By getting rid of certain people. Now over here it's going to be a little different. You know, it won't be only the Jews we get rid of, don't you? You're going to make it easier for us. You won't have to wear any armband. We're going to spot you a mile away.
Patient: Why don't you wise up?::Doctor: How would i do that?::Patient: Why don't you go back to Africa?

http://acplasticsurg.com My stomach is very swollen. How do I know if I have seroma hematoma? Sometimes the Atlantic Coast Aesthetics Question of the Week we get is much more specific than usual. While the advice our founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Thomas A. Pane, gives in his weekly Google Hangout is not intended to replace an in-person direct examination of the patient by medical professionals, questions like this are particularly interesting because they address things that can and sometimes do happen in the aftermath of surgery, even when aftercare protocols are followed precisely. This week’s question came in via email to ACA’s website: “I had a tummy tuck in mid-December [roughly six weeks prior to the question] and I’ve noticed severe abdominal swelling. Is it possible that I have a seroma or hematoma, and what do I do about it?”
Dr. Pane says that the first question is whether or not the patient’s surgeon seems unduly concerned about the swelling. He notes that some post-operative swelling is normal and to be expected in the flap area, which is the portion of the abdominal skin that is brought down and stretched into place as part of the procedure. He said this is typical and not cause for alarm by itself. Read the rest here...

The Chief Medical Officer of Hyderabad University, Ravinder Kumar said that the administration did not even consult with him regarding the injuries Susheel Kumar received. An argument between students of two rival student political organisations, Ambedkar Students Association (ASA) and Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) of University of Hyderabad over terror convict Yakub Memons hanging led to drama in which a student was thrashed and as a result ended up in hospital. Kumar, ABVP president of University of Hyderabad, was allegedly beaten up by members of ASA as he commented on Facebook in support of Yakum Memons hanging. ASA at the time was protesting in the campus against the hanging and Vemula was a member of the ASA. Ravinder Kumar said, "In a typical scenario, any student who has been injured should be brought in to the health centre. In Sushil's case, this didn't happen. The boy went to a private hospital. Even then, the university should send a senior doctor to check the facts. Being the senior most doctor, I wasn't called." Ravinder Kumar further stated that he wasn't even called when HRD ministry came to the University to investigate the death of Rohith Vemula.

As the UK’s Chief Medical Officer, Dame Sally is the country’s leading figure in public health. In this lecture, she will talk about microbial resistance and the dire threat it poses if action is not taken to reinvigorate research into a new class of antibiotic.
She has described the threat posed by antibiotic resistance as being on a par with that of terrorism and climate change and warned that “Antimicrobial resistance poses a catastrophic threat. If we don’t act now, any one of us could go into hospital in 20 years for minor surgery and die because of an ordinary infection that can’t be treated by antibiotics."
Her highlighting of the issue in the CMO’s Annual Report, published in March 2013, included 17 recommendations on antibiotic resistancy, many of which are designed to tackle the ‘discovery void’ in pharmaceutical research. A year on from the report, Dame Sally will talk about the Government’s strategy for action, the challenges she faces and the progress made.

As a Lieutenant who recently transferred from the Star Mother regiment to the Aiueb Gnshal outfit, you are visited by Doctor Clemmons, Chief Medical Officer of the Undead, who performs a routine checkup which includes relaxing hand motions, ear to ear Shadowspeak (aka glossolalia) and a soothing scalp massage (recorded in binaural audio, unbeknownst to the doctor).
Dr. Clemmons is an Undead ancestor thought to be of the same bloodline as Professor Clemmons himself, who some say was nothing more than the human embodiment of Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos. It has also been passed down through the ages that the Professor, or Nyarlathotep if you will, was the one who initiated The Thousand Year War.
The Thousand Year War between the legions of Cthulhu and mankind has thrown Earth into a Post-Apocalyptic era. While Ghouls and Deep Ones roam the earth freely, striving to awaken the Nameless One and devouring any human being they encounter, mankind proves to be a resilient species, and has yet to be pushed to the brink of extinction.

What is ASMR? Why am I whispering?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety relief, stress relief, insomnia relief, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more.
