.32 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol), also known as the .32 Automatic is a centerfire pistol cartridge. It is a semi-rimmed, straight-walled cartridge developed by firearms designer John Browning, initially for use in the FN M1900 semi-automatic pistol. It was introduced in 1899 by Fabrique Nationale, and is also known as the 7.65×17mm Browning SR or 7.65 mm Browning.
John Browning engineered a number of modern semi-automatic pistol mechanisms and cartridges. As his first pistol cartridge, the .32 ACP needed a straight wall for reliable blowback operation as well as a small rim for reliable feeding from a box magazine. The cartridge headspaces on the rim. The cartridge was a success and was adopted by dozens of countries and countless governmental agencies.
When the .32 ACP cartridge was introduced, it was chambered in a variety of popular blowback automatic pistols of the day, including the Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless, the Savage Model 1907 Automatic Pistol, and the Browning Model 1910 Automatic Pistol. To avoid patent infringement John Pedersen designed the Remington Model 51 so as to not to rely on any other, thus the unique hesitation lock breech mechanism was developed. The .32 ACP has been chambered in more handguns than any other cartridge. Between 1899 and 1909, Fabrique Nationale produced 500,000 guns chambered for .32 ACP.

The Beretta 3032 Tomcat and Beretta 3032 Tomcat Inox are semi-automatic pocket pistols designed and manufactured by Beretta. They are chambered in .32 ACP (aka 7.65 mm Browning) and are small pistols, designed for concealed-carry and use as backup weapons. The Beretta 3032 Tomcat builds on a long line of small and compact pocket pistols for self defense manufactured by Beretta.
The Beretta 3032 Tomcat is a simple blowback pistol with a single- and double-action trigger mechanism. It also features a tip-up barrel. It is fitted with a frame-mounted thumb safety. This safety acts as a slide stop when engaged. The frame is made out of aluminium alloy, the slide and barrel are either carbon or stainless steel.
The document included with new Tomcat 3032 pistols warns that the owner should never use +P (high-pressure) ammunition that exceeds 130 ft·lbf (176 J) muzzle energy.
It is available in an "Inox" variant, with stainless steel barrel and slide and the frame anodized to look the same. For a short time a titanium model was also available. There was also a Tomcat Tritium version with tritium night sights called the "Alley Cat".
The .22 Long Rifle rimfire (metric designation: 5.6×15mmR) cartridge is a long-established variety of ammunition, and in terms of units sold is still by far the most common in the world today.
The cartridge is often referred to simply as .22 LR ("twenty-two-/ˈɛl/-/ˈɑːr/") and various rifles, pistols, revolvers, and even some smoothbore shotguns have been manufactured in this caliber. The cartridge originated from the Flobert BB cap of 1845 through the .22 Smith & Wesson cartridge of 1857, and was developed by the American firearms manufacturer J. Stevens Arms & Tool Company in 1887 by combining the casing of the .22 Long with the 40-grain (2.6 g) bullet of the .22 Extra Long. For many decades, it has been a very popular cartridge around the world. It is one of the few cartridges that are accepted by a large variety of rifles, as well as pistols. The .22 Long Rifle and related cartridges (.22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Extra Long) use a heeled bullet, which means that the bullet is the same diameter as the case, and has a narrower "heel" portion that fits in the case.

Two calibers that are often written off as obsolete or ineffective are .30 Carbine and .32 ACP. We take two different modern loads for each caliber to put them to the test with FBI ballistics gel. Is 32 ACP Viable for Self Defense? Is the .30 Carbine still a relevant caliber? Underwood Ammo has some brand spanking new Extreme Cavitator Rounds that showed some really interesting results in the Ballistic Gelatin provided by Dr. Kote. Pushing the enrgy dumps further it seemed that while they did not make as big of a initial wound channel compared to hollow points, they did create a longer wound channel. http://www.patreon.com/ForgottenWeapons Cool Forgotten Weapons merch! http://shop.bbtv.com/collections/forgotten-weapons Manufactured by Rheinmetall and designed by Louis Stange, this light .32ACP (7.65mm Browning) carbine is a bit of a mysterious item. Very little written information exists about it, but we know it was sold on the commercial market as it appears in several firearms sale catalogs and it is, frankly, and wonderfully handy little small game rifle. It is a simple blowback action with a 6-round detachable magazine, sharing a number of elements with the Dreyse 1907 pistol from the same company (Johann von Dreyse died in 1867, but the brand name was owned by the Rheinmetall company). One feature of the rifle that is likely to be overlooked given today's cultural insistence on ...

It's still in use today and is available in several calibers including 32 ACP (7.65 Browning), 9x18 and .380. This is another cool "here today, gone tomorrow" mil-surp import item. Testing penetration and performance of 32 ACP vs 380 ACP vs 9mm
Trying out a .308 diameter, 110gr. Nosler Varmageddon bullet loaded in a 32 ACP case over 1.2gr of Universal powder. Fired through a Colt 1903 into a melon, backed up by a water jug. Just curious to see if the bullet deforms at extreme slow speed. While it penetrated the melon & jug, it did not exit the jug, and the casing stovepiped. Obviously this had to be loaded directly into the chamber.
Mauser is much more well known for their long guns than their hand guns, but in this installment of TFBTV we look at a very prolific early 20th century handgun made by the Mauser company in significant quantities. This is the Mauser 1914, which was a very popular pistol back in the day. Many THANKS to: Ventura Munitions: http://bit.ly/1LKxNRP Please Support Them! They help make our videos possible.
