Msta River

The Msta (Russian: Мста) is a river in Vyshnevolotsky, Udomelsky, and Bologovsky Districts of Tver Oblast and in Borovichsky, Okulovsky, Lyubytinsky, Malovishersky, Krestetsky, and Novgorodsky Districts, as well as in the town of Borovichi of Novgorod Oblast of Russia. It is a tributary of Lake Ilmen. It is 445 kilometres (277 mi) long, and the area of its basin 23,300 square kilometres (9,000 sq mi). The principal tributaries of the Msta are the Berezayka (left), the Uver (right), and the Kholova (left). The town of Borovichi and the urban-type settlement of Lyubytino are located on the banks of the Msta.

The source of the Msta is in Lake Mstino in the Valdai Hills immediately north of the town of Vyshny Volochyok. The river flows north, accepts the Berezayka from the left, and enters Novgorod Oblast. There, it accepts the Uver from the right and turns northwest. Downstream from the town of Borovichi, it forms the border between Borovichsky and Okulovsky District, and still downstream between Okulovsky and Lyubytinsky District. It departs from the border to the north, and downstream of the settlement of Lyubytino sharply turns southwest. It makes one more curve at the border with Krestetsky District and has its mouth downstream of the settlement of Proletariy.

DayZ (video game)

DayZ is an open world survival video game in development by Bohemia Interactive, and the stand-alone version of the award-winning mod of the same name. The game was released for Microsoft Windows via early access on Steam on December 16, 2013, and is currently in early alpha testing.

The game places the player in the fictional 225 km²post-Soviet state of Chernarus, where a mysterious plague has turned most of the population into violent zombies. As a survivor, the player must scavenge the world for food, water, weapons, and medicine, while killing or avoiding zeds, and killing, avoiding, or cooperating with other players in an effort to survive the outbreak.

DayZ began development in 2012 when the mod's creator, Dean Hall, joined Bohemia Interactive to commence work on the standalone version of the game. The development has been focused on altering the engine to suit the game's needs, developing a working client-server architecture, and introducing new features like diseases and a better inventory system. The game has sold 3 million copies since its alpha release. At Gamescom 2014, it was announced that DayZ would be coming to the PlayStation 4, and at E3 2015, it was announced that it would also be released for the Xbox One, with an early access version being released under Xbox's own Early Access program.

Bohemia Interactive

Bohemia Interactive (BI), also known as Bohemia Interactive Studio (BIS), is an independent developer and publisher of video games, based in Prague, Czech Republic. Founded in 1999, the company's CEO is Marek Španěl, who is also the co-owner of the company.

Bohemia Interactive is a member of IDEA Games, which functions as a publisher and consultant for several independent developers.

Operation Flashpoint

Bohemia's release of Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis in 2001 into the international market won BI several prestigious awards. At London's ECTS show of 2001, BI won the "Best PC Game Developer of the Year" award. In addition, BI was also awarded "Rookie Studio of the Year" at GDC 2002.

The debut game of BI, published by Codemasters, immediately became the top selling game in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Czech Republic and other countries. After this success BI prepared a special US version of the game which launched in September 2001 and it also became one of the best selling games in the USA.
