Quotes:
T.V. Announcer: If you're faced with corruption from civil servants, please report to the Anti-Corruption Division of the Royal Hong Kong Police.
Father: [to himself] I only want to make a living... I don't want to report anything. You all forced me hard. The television advertisement told us we can all make a report. I'll go hell and clear this mess! At least I can do it this way!::[he hangs himself in front of his family]
Yip Fok: [after catching the Ugly Assassin] Who sent you here? The Faucet?::[the Ugly Assassin stays quiet]::Yip Fok: I thought all dogs knew how to bark. How come such puppies don't know how?
Governor Maclahose: What I'm talking is very serious corruption in Hong Kong. As much as 95% of the civil servants are involved.::Former Governor Trench: This is a bad tradition in Chinese society. They live in relationships and bribery. Anything can be solved with money. The situation is worsening and the problem is difficult to solve.::Governor Maclahose: As long as we have determination, I'll clear them once I commence work.::Former Governor Trench: What will you do if there's a rock in front of your path?::Governor Maclahose: Move it.::[He bends down to pick up a rock]::Former Governor Trench: [stops him] Be careful. There may be worms under the rock. They'll crawl on you.
Psychiatrist: You aren't working well with your colleagues, right?::Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: Maybe I do things in another manner.::Psychiatrist: You've been married for five years, and now, suddenly your wife left you with the kids for another man. Why?::Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: We don't match each other.::Psychiatrist: In what way? [smiling] In your sex life?::Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: This is my personal matter.::Psychiatrist: Everyone calls you 'Tamerlane.' Colleagues don't work well with you. Your wife doesn't want you, and even the kids leave you. Don't you think you have a problem?::Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: This doesn't relate to my reinstatement!::Psychiatrist: It is absolutely related. If a normal person cannot express his desire in a normal way, his character will become extreme and selfish. In addition to the emotional impact from the gun injury, I advise you to stop working temporarily and visit me each month.::Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: I don't want to follow the bad examples of others! Is that considered abnormal?::Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: According to psychology, a person that isn't acting normally is abnormal.::Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: I think you're abnormal! You stupid virgin. Have you even felt the smell of a man? I'm sure you haven't even had a sexual climax before! Don't think you're a woman because you're wearing a bra! Let me tell you, I'm a real, strong man. At least I've got two kids! What have you got? Bear something out if you can!
Solicitor Annie Ma: You're familiar with the police force. I hope you can help me.::Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: What do you want the information for? In the end you'll stand on their side, anyway.
Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: Let me ask you a question. How much do you know about corruption in Hong Kong? You're not facing a few thousand policemen. It's a few hundred thousand civil servants and four million Hong Kong people If everyone had the habit of paying dirty money, they'll think that going by the back door is a proper thing. They all belong to the corruption group. What's the use of anti-corruption?
Solicitor Annie Ma: We have crows in this generation. We hope to raise pigeons in the next.
Sergeant Wong Yat-Chung: Let me tell you what the best way is. If he cuts you with a knife, shoot him with a gun. If he shoots you with a gun, kick him in the ass. This is a demanding war. Once you declare war, they won't let you go. We can never turn back.
Luk Tai-Chiu: I, Luk Tai-Chiu, has had the pleasure of being respected by the Big Four Families and by all police. Being your tap, I can handle the society peacefully. Do you know why? Because we are united. But what happens if we're not united? [pats Brother Chiu] Give me the chopsticks.::[Chiu hands him the chopsticks. Luk then grabs his hands and uses a pair of pliers to rip off his thumb]::Luk Tai-Chiu: I hope that this is the last unloyal finger that I cut off.

Gina: All you ever think about is LSD. One of these days you're gonna take a trip and never come back.::Acid: Yeah? You really think so? Groovy!
Charlie: I'll get you, you little bastard. I promise you, I'll get you if it's the last thing I ever do.::Anchor: You're right, cop. You're right, I *am* a rotten bastard. I admit it. But I tell ya something. Even though I got a lot of hate inside, I got some friends who ain't got hate inside. They're filled with nothing but love. Their only crime is growing their hair long, smoking a little grass and getting high, looking at the stars at night, writing poetry in the sand. And what do you do? You bust down their doors, man. Dumb-ass cop. You bust down their doors and you bust down their heads. You put 'em behind bars. And you know something funny? They forgive you.::[shoots Charlie, Nora and Lew]::Anchor: I don't.
Johnny: In Vietnam, at least I got paid when I killed people.

Pickup Power: 1959 Corner-Carving Apache - /BIG MUSCLE
Back in
1959 the idea of having a pickup truck that could go around corners was simply ludicrous. These trucks were meant to haul farm equipment, construction supplies and tow stuff, not shred corners and pull lateral-g's. Owner Wes Drelleshak has always liked trucks, however he's always had a special affinity for one in particular - a 1959
Chevrolet Apache with the rare Fleetside bed. He bought it with the intention of making it his daily driver, but then something happened

Big Burnouts: 1964 Pontiac Catalina Safari - /BIG MUSCLE
If you haven't figured it out by now, we love wagons on this show. To some they're a misunderstood breed, but to those in the know, they're amazing. Not only were the wagons of yesteryear known for their styling, but their capacity to haul as much cargo as a modern day pickup. This 1964
Pontiac Catalina Safari started off life as a
Police Wagon, but was transformed by its owner into the kick-ass, tire-shredding monster you see here. With a
Nelson Racing Engines 468 cid big-block under the hood, some updated suspension bits and a killer look, this big green machine is outside-the-box styling at its best.

Muscle Evolved: Modding a Mustang GT
When it comes to cornering, the

Factory attempts to cure this have been valiant (

Say hello to the first Oldsmobile we've ever featured
on /BIG MUSCLE. This 1965 Cutlass F-85 has been cloned into a wicked 442 by it's owner. Bodies we've ever seen.

When it comes to cornering, the
Ford Mustang has always been a bit lack luster.
Factory attempts to cure this have been valiant (
Boss 302,
SVT Cobra R), however sometimes you need to think outside the box to get to the next level. The /
BIG MUSCLE garage acquired a
2013 Mustang GT last year and were thrilled, until that is, we took it to the track. There we found
Cortex Racing and with that, the understanding that with the right set of legs underneath it, even an over weight pony car can be made into an evil piece of track day weaponry.

Carb'd 461 Big Block - 1965 Oldsmobile - /BIG MUSCLE
Say hello to the first Oldsmobile we've ever featured
on /BIG MUSCLE. This 1965 Cutlass F-85 has been cloned into a wicked 442 by it's owner. The goal was simple - take a car that was a bit outside the norm and slowly transform it into a kick-ass cruiser that has the ability to be flogged on the autocross. With a carb'd 461 big block under the hood, it's big, different and one of the most overlooked machines from the muscle car era.
