Seif further added that 244 brokerage links had been established and 744 LCs opened in the two weeks ending to March 2.
He said statistics showed that the brokerage network of the banks is increasingly growing every day and banks in the country are constantly making efforts to establish such links.
However, he added, foreign banks have some ambiguities for cooperation which should be removed while some countries have a wrong impression about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) which has caused some delay in the process of activities.
The official noted that the banking system passed behind a tough condition under the sanctions, adding that the situation cannot immediately return to the pre-sanction period and steps should be gradually taken in this regard.
Stressing that two months have passed since the implementation of JCPOA, Seif said the banking system has taken the required measures and expressed hope that interactions and communications of the banking system of the country will develop.
