Teresa, is a Mexican telenovela produced by José Alberto Castro for Televisa. It is a remake of Mexican telenovela of the same name produced in 1959.

Sebastián Rulli, Aarón Díaz, Cynthia Klitbo and Angelique Boyer star as the main protagonists, while Ana Brenda Contreras star as the co-protagonist.

Plot

Teresa is a beautiful and intelligent young woman, desperately seeking to leave the grinding poverty of the neighborhood where she lives. Despite being beautiful and having support and love from her parents, she lives a miserable and resentful life, blaming poverty for her sister's death. After Rosa dies from a heart disease, Teresa vows that she will never be poor again, making plans to escape the life of poverty surrounding her, using her beauty as a way to make it to the top. She is in love with Mariano, a man who lives in the same neighborhood with her and is studying to become a doctor in order to meet Teresa's expectations and fulfill all her dreams. But Teresa is impatient.

Teresa (Spanish pronunciation: [teɾeˈsa]) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Lucy Orozco for Televisa in 1989.

Salma Hayek starred in his first and only protagonist role in telenovelas, together with Rafael Rojas, Daniel Giménez Cacho and Miguel Pizarro.

Plot

Teresa is a beautiful and intelligent young woman desperately seeking to get out of the grinding poverty of the neighborhood where she lives. Resentful of the miserable life that took her sister, she plans to use her beauty and intelligence to enter the world of luxury to which she wants to belong.

To this end, she enters her classmate and friend Aurora's group of friends. There she meets Aurora's cousin Raul, a young but neurotic millionaire with suicidal tendencies. Telling Raul that she is rich, coupled with her beauty, Raul is smitten with her. Even then he and Aurora discover that Teresa is poor and a liar, Raul is obsessed with her and forgives her.

Fearing that their opposition to the relationship will end with Raul's suicide, Aurora's parents accept the romance of Teresa and Raul. However, throughout history Teresa will learn that ambition and lies only lead to unhappiness and loneliness.

Viana (department store)

Viana is a discount department store chain in Mexico specializing in white goods (home appliances), bedding, and towels, as well as clothing, furniture, cosmetics and technology.

The chain was founded in 1953 with its matriz or flagship on Eje Central Lázaro Cardenas at Salto de Agua in the Historic Center of Mexico City. In 2010, Viana acquired the 12-branch furniture chain Muebles Frey. As of 2014 it has 35 branches in Greater Mexico City and 15 more elsewhere in Mexico.

As early as 1963, Business Week noted Viana as "Viana, the most serious appliance discounter in Mexico City".

Craters cannot be named for living people, and small crater names are not intended to be commemorative - that is, a small crater isn't actually named after a specific town on Earth, but rather its name comes at random from a pool of terrestrial place names, with some exceptions made for craters near landing sites. Latitude and longitude are given as planetographic coordinates with west longitude.

Castro, Lazio

Castro was an ancient city on the west side of Lake Bolsena in the present-day comune of Ischia di Castro, northern Lazio, Italy. It was destroyed at the conclusion of the Wars of Castro in the 17th century.

Early history

The settlement of Castro was founded in prehistoric times, and was later the seat of an unspecified Etruscan city, probably Statonia. In the Middle Ages it had a castle (Latin: castrum), hence the name. Although an autonomous commune, it remained nonetheless under papal suzerainty. In 1527 a pro-independence faction assumed power, but they were later ousted by Pier Luigi Farnese, whose family was to rule Castro until the 17th century. In the same year another Farnese, Gian Galeazzo, sacked it in the wake of the Sack of Rome.

Ten years later, in 1537, three years after the election of Alessandro Farnese as Pope Paul III, it became the seat of an independent duchy under his son Pier Luigi Farnese. The town, which in the meantime had been reduced to "gypsies' huts" (in the words of a contemporary), was reconstructed according to the design of Antonio da Sangallo the Younger.
