An error (from the Latin error, meaning "wandering") is an action which is inaccurate or incorrect. In some usages, an error is synonymous with a mistake (for instance, a cook who misses a step from a recipe might describe it as either an error or a mistake), though in technical contexts the two are often distinguished. For instance, in statistics "error" refers to the difference between the value which has been computed and the correct value.
One reference differentiates between "error" and "mistake" as follows:
In human behavior the norms or expectations for behavior or its consequences can be derived from the intention of the actor or from the expectations of other individuals or from a social grouping or from social norms. (See deviance.) Gaffes and faux pas can be labels for certain instances of this kind of error. More serious departures from social norms carry labels such as misbehavior and labels from the legal system, such as misdemeanor and crime. Departures from norms connected to religion can have other labels, such as sin.
Brains is predominantly the plural of the word brain.
Brains may also refer to:
Crash Course (also known as Driving Academy) is a 1988 made for television teen film directed by Oz Scott.
Crash Course centers on a group of high schoolers in a driver’s education class; many for the second or third time. The recently divorced teacher, super-passive Larry Pearl, is on thin ice with the football fanatic principal, Principal Paulson, who is being pressured by the district superintendent to raise driver’s education completion rates or lose his coveted football program. With this in mind, Principal Paulson and his assistant, with a secret desire for his job, Abner Frasier, hire an outside driver’s education instructor with a very tough reputation, Edna Savage, aka E.W. Savage, who quickly takes control of the class.
The plot focuses mostly on the students and their interactions with their teachers and each other. In the beginning, Rico is the loner with just a few friends, Chadley is the bookish nerd with few friends who longs to be cool and also longs to be a part of Vanessa’s life who is the young, friendly and attractive girl who had to fake her mother’s signature on her driver’s education permission slip. Kichi is the hip-hop Asian kid who often raps what he has to say and constantly flirts with Maria, the rich foreign girl who thinks that the right-of-way on the roadways always goes to (insert awesomely fake foreign Latino accent) “my father’s limo”. Finally you have stereotypical football meathead J.J., who needs to pass his English exam to keep his eligibility and constantly asks out and gets rejected by Alice, the tomboy whose father owns “Santini & Son” Concrete Company. Alice is portrayed as being the “son” her father wanted.

G. Michael Lemole, Jr., MD, Chief, Division of Neurosurgery and Professor of Surgery, UA College of Medicine The science and art of neurosurgery has advanced dramatically in the past few decades, and yet its history is firmly grounded in a paradigm of surgical trial and error. Collaborations with allied specialties have made these "trials" safer, but much of what we know of functional brain anatomy comes from disease or iatrogenic perturbations. This lecture will explore the keen observations and dogged persistence that led to our current state of the art. We will explore how this surgical knowledge of the brain makes our current practice safer and how future technologies will advance our understanding with less invasive but more meaningful impact.

Each of us views the world through a distorted lens. All of the information we process has to pass through our brains… And folks, our brains are treacherous and lazy. The Monty Hall Problem is a famous (or rather infamous) probability puzzle. Ron Clarke takes you through the puzzle and explains the counter-intuitive answer. Put simply: If you pick a goat then swap you will always win the car. And you have a 2/3 probability of picking a goat. You can read more about this problem, and the controversy, on Marilyn Vos Savant's website www.marilynvossavant.com A lot of people have commented that I should have used 67% rather than 66%. When I made the video I made the choice to use 66% because I talk about "double the chance" and 66% is double 33%. I accept that 67% is more accurate, but I don't think it affects the explanation. Thanks for all your comments!

Growing up, my sister had a unicycle. She didn't know how to ride it and neither did I. As far as we knew, it was completely impossible to ride. Fast forward about 20 years, and i now know how to ride a unicycle. I learned in about an hour. Maybe I’m more coordinated now, or maybe I have an easier time wrapping my head around the concept. Maybe I just have a longer attention span. Whatever the reason, I only learned to ride recently, so the learning process is still fresh in my mind. Here are the ten key things that I learned. First of all, forget free mounting. That's when you try to start riding without holding on to something. This is for after you learn how to balance on a unicycle, so save it for later. Wasting your time on free mounting before you can ride will only hold you back. ...

If you like my stuff, please support me on http://music.ollilab.com/ Ok, so yeah.. im not really done making tracks for the album yet :) I wanted to attempt a vocal style track.. just to see what would happen. Well, here it is.. , you be the judge if you like this one and if its something that would work on the album... its sort of an alternate version of one of my previous movements, can you guess which one ? Its really REALLY hard :-) to sing and play/control all synths at the same time.. man, how do people do this ? Its so confusing. Big kudos to all artists out there that knows how .... I just had a split brain deluxe all the time :) Due to this, I must admit that i made a couple of more errors that I usually feel comfortable with on a track, they are quite obvious on a couple of...
This video will show you how to make an actual lava lamp, not these fake fizzy tablet lava lamps you see on youtube. This is the real deal and took a while to figure out. Making a lava lamp takes careful calibration but with this recipy you should have one up and running in no time. This idea is authentically that of mad brain lab and google was not used to figure this out, it was all trial and error.
Twitter; http://twitter.com/tommmeredith Tab; http://www.sendspace.com/file/reow3t Just a quick note to say that the purpose of these videos is to show how I play and interpret these songs/ covers. That means that I might play a few riffs differently, or change around solo's/ lead- any changes to the original are intentional Subscribe to be notified of when more come up, as I upload regularly I was planning to post something original next, but then MMF dropped this and I wanted to cover it as soon as I could. This song just get me even more exited for Unconditional, challenging riffs with a massive chorus, and that smart ass key change too. Hopefully the tabs I've wrote out are okay, but point out any massive errors to me, because I wrote them retrospectively from memory while the vide...
Here is a video documenting The Creature's early mind control and programing experiments. Unfortunately, the Carney's were far too inept to realize that in order to have ANY type of success in the mind control field, that the "key" ingredient that the subject MUST be in possession of, is a BRAIN. As it turns out after trial-and-error, the Carney's found they had surprising success when they turned on their legal advisor, Mr. Jack O' Lantern Esq. And so began their mind control work on him. Mr. Jack O' Lantern Esq. who can be seen here in the background observing and monitoring the progressive failures and taking notes. In a future video, we'll focus a little on the wonderful "skull handle" that can easily be seen here at the rear of The Creature's head profile. Please "Like" and Subscrib...

11/15/2010 Dominic Johnson - University of Edinburgh Reader in Politics and International Relations "Adaptive Politics: The Strategic Advantages of Psychological Biases" A recent explosion of work suggests a key role for human physiology and evolutionary psychology in understanding political behaviour, from genes to hormones to cognition. However, the entire notion of an evolutionary basis for human behavior meets a traditional skepticism in the social sciences, and political science in particular. One common conception is that psychological biases are "mistakes" or "errors" that cause policy failures, disasters, or wars. The book sets out the argument that psychological biases have their roots in the evolution and biology of the human brain. Consequently, they are far from "mistakes", bu...
I was a player
So good at bad behaviour
Girls up and down the elevator
Wouldn't see any of 'em later
They used to entertain me
But none of them could tame me
Girls they were screaming "Ooh baby"
While I was off in some kinda daydream
Sometimes it hits me completely, when I get high
Sometimes you get me completely, you got me
Hot damn, your mind's so beautiful
I'm struck dumb, don't know where my shit's at
Hot damn, you're intellectual
I'm struck dumb, how we gonna fix that?
Now that you got in my head,
Why don't you get in my bed?
Hot damn, your mind's so beautiful
I'm struck dumb
I wanna love your brains out
Uh uh oh no!
Can't believe I'm begging "Don't go"
But there's so much more I wanna know
Like everything about you
The clever words that you say
Every one does something new to me
Of all the girls that I used to call "baby"
You're the only one that gets through to me
Sometimes it hits me completely, when I get high
Sometimes you get me completely, you got me
Hot damn, your mind's so beautiful
I'm struck dumb, don't know where my shit's at
Hot damn, you're intellectual
I'm struck dumb, how we gonna fix that?
Now that you got in my head,
Why don't you get in my bed?
Hot damn, your mind's so beautiful
I'm struck dumb
I wanna love your brains out
I wanna love your brains, I wanna, I wanna love your brains out [x6]
You got me
Hot damn, your mind's so beautiful
I'm struck dumb, don't know where my shit's at
Hot damn, you're intellectual
I'm struck dumb, how we gonna fix that?
Now that you got in my head,
Why don't you get in my bed?
