Emraan Dons The Blue Jersey in These New Stills from Azhar

It is no secret that Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming film Azhar has already created quite a buzz amongst movie buffs and cricket lovers alike as it is based on the life of former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin. Moreover, the ambitious biopic has also grabbed eyeballs because of its intriguing teaser which was released a few months back.

Now, it seems that the buzz surrounding Azhar is set to receive a shot in the arm. In an exciting development, some new stills from the film have been released. In them, we get glimpses of Emraan in the team India jersey. Moreover, we also get a look at the movie’s leading ladies Prachi Desai and Nargis Fakhri.

Interestingly, Azhar has been directed by Tony D’Souza and is expected to hit screens this May. As it so happens, Emraan is going through a lean phase on the professional front at present. His last few films could not found much success at the ticket window. Hence, it will be worth watching if Azhar is able to help him revive his fortunes.
