Submit is an EP by the British band Pitchshifter, released in 1992. Fitting somewhere between an EP and a full-length album, it was the last album to feature Stuart Toolin in the band.
While not as heavy as Industrial, the album is still more intense than any later releases, and is still firmly in the industrial metal genre, with a sound that has been compared to early Godflesh.
Submit was originally released in 1992 on vinyl and CD. The original CD release (in 1992) did not have the two live tracks and featured "Silo" as a hidden track. The vinyl release does not contain "Silo". The matrix of Side A of the vinyl record includes the words "A Fat Wallet Production" while the matrix of Side B says "Buy the CD for "Silo"". The album was re-released on CD only in 1995 with two live tracks recorded in Stuttgard, Germany in 1994. The CD re-release lists "Silo" as a separate track from "Tendrill" and spells track 4 as "Bastardizer". "Landfill" was originally featured on Industrial and would later appear on Desensitized as a hidden track.

In high availability applications, a metric known as nines, corresponding to the number of nines following the decimal point, is used. Availability of a system is typically measured as a factor of its reliability - as reliability increases, so does availability. However, no system can guarantee 100.000% reliability; and as such, no system can assure 100.000% availability. Further, reliability engineering and maintainability involve processes designed to optimize availability under a set of constraints, such as time and cost-effectiveness. Availability is the goal of most system users, and reliability engineering and maintainability provide the means to assure that availability performance requirements are achieved.
