California State Teachers Retirement System CalSTRS pension program analyst
Scott Thompson in this interview discusses the gaming and fraud taking place in the CalSTRS pension system. When he raised specific cases of potential fraud and spiking of the pension system by administrators and principals he was retaliated against, bullied and fired. He also discusses how top management officials who call themselves
CEO's conspired to frame him and remove him from the agency. They called security and walked him out of CalSTRS as if he was a criminal.
Over 850,
000 teachers and administrators are covered by the CalSTRS pension system.
Thompson also exposes how some charter school operators criminally manipulate the state teacher pension system to spike their pensions and get away with defrauding millions of teachers who are invested in the pension system.
Many of these administrators and principals are still being paid exorbitant pensions. according to
Thomson and are clear examples of spiking. CalSTRS CEO
Jack Ehnes and CalSTRS
Chief Operating Officer Cassandra Lichnock approved these spiked pensions and have also have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars from the agency to stop Thomson from returning to his job at the CalSTRS because of his whistleblowing. At the same time then took his ideas to help identify systemic spiking in the teacher retirement system. This interview took place on January 4,
