The Winamp
Equalizer Pane
---------------------------------------------------------------------
To collapse the Winamp Equalizer pane in
your audio pane, double click the top of that section. To open it again, double click it.To close or reopen the Equalizer pane, click the EQ button in the Winamp pane. Another method of closing it is clicking the X in the Equalizer pane.
Closing the Equalizer pane separates the Winamp pane and the Winamp
Playlist pane. You can reconnect them by clicking and dragging them to each other.
Loading EQ Presets

1. To pick an equalizer preset (an audio scheme designed to best fit a certain musical style or genre), click Presets in the audio pane.2.
Click Load -- Preset
...3.
Choose a preset and click Load.
The Winamp Playlist Pane
---------------------------------------------------------------------
To collapse the Winamp Playlist pane, double click the top of that section. To open it again, double click it.To close or reopen the Winamp Playlist pane, click the PL button in the Winamp pane. Another method of closing it is clicking the X in the Winamp Playlist pane.If you have a large song library, you can make the Playlist pane larger. Click and hold the triangle in the bottom right-hand corner, then drag it down and to the right.
Spectrum Analyzer

The default visualization (a graphic that moves in time with the music) is
Spectrum analyzer. To perform basic changes to it, click on it. You can cycle through three choices this way: a wave display, a fire display and a blank display.For more options, click the arrows in the upper left-hand corner. Click
Options -- Preferences...In the Spectrum Analyzer Options, you can adjust the visualization settings. You can choose
Normal style,
Fire style or
Line style. You can change speeds, line width and peaks. After making your selections, click
OK.
Changing Skins

1. To change the skin (visual theme) of your Winamp player, click the arrows in the upper left-hand corner of the Winamp pane. Click Skins -- Get more skins! .2.
Download a skin. It will download into your Winamp directory.3.
Select your new skin from the list.
The Winamp Pane
---------------------------------------------------------------------
To make the Winamp pane larger, switch it to Doublesize
Mode by clicking the D in the visualization window.To make Winamp as small as it can possibly be, close the Playlist and Equalizer.
Collapse the Winamp pane by double clicking the top of that section. You can then click and drag it over to the top of the taskbar.The collapsed player has the following controls:
* Previous track
*
Play
* Pause
* Stop
*
Next track
*
Eject
