Further In is an album by folk singer/guitarist Greg Brown that was released in 1996.
Guests include Kelly Joe Phelps, Dean McGraw and Kate McKenzie.
Further In is noted for its broad variety of music and lyrics. Greg Brown is noted for his humor, songwriting, storytelling, touring, and his work on NPR's A Prairie Home Companion. A review written for Folk and Acoustic Music Exchange stated that "Further In is an order of magnitude more powerful, more perceptive, and more moving" then Browns previous album The Poet Game which was at the time considered "the grand opus of his life." The album also received a four star review in Rolling Stone magazine. A review in Dirty Linen described the album as Brown's best since Dream Café and praised the album for the "broad swath in subject matter" covered by the various songs.
Writing for Allmusic, music critic Chris Nickson highly praised Brown and wrote of the album "Wonderfully and sparsely produced by guitarist Bo Ramsey, Further In may be the best outing yet from old-fashioned folkie Brown — which is saying plenty... the introspective Brown seems to deliver his most striking verse, effusive melodies, and heartfelt singing when he's satisfied." Deborah Malarek of No Depression wrote the album "Simplicity has always been a winning technique for Brown, whose gently booming voice commands your full attention."

The single “El Mismo Sol” by young Spanish vocalist Alvaro Soler was one of the biggest summer hits of 2015. Now Soler is about to follow this impressive success story with his new single “Sofia”, set to support the rerelease of his Eterno Agosto album, which is due out in July and includes newly recorded and previously unreleased material. The song was written and produced in Los Angeles, where Alvaro Soler and his team of producers were working with RedOne (Lady Gaga, Nicole Scherzinger, Jason Derulo Jennifer Lopez, etc.). You can’t help feeling that the whole world will be singing about “Sofia” this summer. The music video, shot in Cuba, is likely to contribute further to the record’s success. Looks like all doors are open for “Sofia”. One thing is clear: this summer once again, it wil...

Composed of flour, water, salt, boric acid, and mineral oil, the product was first manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S., as a wallpaper cleaner in the 1930s.[1] When a classroom of children began using the wallpaper cleaner as a modeling compound, the product was reworked and marketed to Cincinnati schools in the mid-1950s. Play-Doh was demonstrated at an educational convention in 1956 and prominent department stores opened retail accounts.[2] Advertisements promoting Play-Doh on influential children's television shows in 1957 furthered the product's sales.[1] Since its ...

Further in, grandmother; grandfather, hold my hand
As I go on through this life and try to understand
The beauty of your faces I will never see again
But I know you're with me now leading me further in
Further in, you friends of mine, they led me further in
I know I've hurt you many times and I've helped you and I
will again
You to me and me to you, and us to all of them
The circle that will ever grow as we go further in
Further in, O my love, take me further in
Past the place where love hides its face and down to
where we begin
So deep in this mystery, my tears on yours depend
