Sean Divine Jacobs, better known as Sheek Louch (also known as Donnie Def Jam and "Donnie G"), is an African American rapper and member of The LOX.
Growing up an only child in Yonkers, NY, a young Sheek learned to grind watching his mother work hard to earn a masters degree, while still making time to help him with his math homework. He was inspired to rhyme around the age of 12, by his man Jada. “Me and Kiss used to always stay at our grandmothers’ houses in Yonkers, and Kiss was always rappin, and I just tried it and we became like a group. Then Styles came… and that’s how it started.” Thanks to a powerful plug from up-n-coming queen of R&B; soul Mary J. Blige, the trio would soon find themselves a part of a then burgeoning Bad Boy Records. The group became instant hood favorites with the release of the album Money, Power, Respect.
After that, they parted ways [less than amicably] with Puff, and joined fellow Y-O family member DMX with the Ruff Ryders camp. Causing a frenzy with their next album, We Are the Streets, the group solidified their hardcore image and both Jada and Styles broke out as critically-respected soloists. Meanwhile, Sheek, an aspiring entrepreneur, began working on their D-Block brand, building a studio, and looking for fresh, hungry young talent. “I’ve always been had artist slash entrepeneur role,” he explains proudly. “I built a studio. I done opened a D-Block car wash, a D-Block Fitteds…all in Yonkers.”
All that hard work eventually paid off, and Sheek finally released his own solo debut Walk witt Me independently through their newly founded D-Block Records. Showing off a good head for business, and an even better ear for beats, Sheek surprised fans and critics alike with his solid effort. The dedicated lyricist would continue to go hard on mixtapes, on the internet, and even the radio, slowly and steadily building his up his brand.

In 2006, at the age of 23, he released his first mixtape, Lecture #1. After his first record label, The Beats went under he produced on his own an EP called The Green EP. But after he toured with Lily Allen he was signed to Virgin Records and released "I Need You Tonight", based around INXS's "Need You Tonight" through the label. He also joined up with Lily Allen in "Just Be Good To Green" which is based around The SOS Band's "Just Be Good to Me".
Green released his debut album, Alive Till I'm Dead, on 19 July 2010, which features guest vocals from Lily Allen, Emeli Sandé, Fink and Labrinth.
He toured with the American rapper, The Game in London.
He was raised by his grandmother Patricia, from the age of one until around 15 years of age.
At the age of 15 he moved in with one of his aunts in central London. He stayed with her for two years along with his cousins Amy Shirley and Jack Shirley and he has said before how they are the only family he has left. His father, Peter, committed suicide in 2008 in Brentwood, Essex. Green has stated before though how he feels his father's death has made him a better person, saying: "I'd had a turbulent relationship with my dad. He was always in and out of my life and I was raised by my grandmother Patricia. Mum, who had me at 16, was there for the most part but my grandmother was the most influential. I last saw my dad alive on my 18th birthday. He came over to see me but after that we just stopped talking. There was no real reason. He hanged himself and I had to go and identify the body in the morgue."
Manderson said he "fell in to rapping accidentally" as he was at a party at a friends house, where everyone was free-styling, and he got put on the spot and he said it worked for him. He then started battling in competitions. He started off at lyric pad, and then moved on to JumpOff.
His album was released a week later, and peaked at #2 in the United Kingdom and #18 in Ireland. He released 'Monster' as the third single from the album. The track features UK rapper Example. Released on October 3, 2010 the single became a top 30 hit on the UK Singles Chart. His album has been certificated Gold with sales of over 100,000 in the United Kingdom.
On 10th September 2010, Professor Green joined Lily Allen on stage at Wembley Stadium whilst supporting Muse, to perform her number one hit 'Smile', and 'Just Be Good To Green'.
On 19 October 2010 Manderson released the video for his next single 'Jungle' which features Maverick Sabre. It was released on January 3 2011 and reached #33 in the UK Singles Chart.
Oh My God, featuring Labrinth is said to be the next single from the album.
Professor Green confirmed his 2nd album would be called The Myth, and said the album's first single is to be titled "Read All About It", a song of which that he is currently performing during his tour. He confirmed in an interview on December 15 that his second album will be released in August 2011. Green also confirmed that he will be touring with N-Dubz in 2011.

Jonathan "Johnny" Clegg (born 7 June 1953) is a musician from South Africa, who has recorded and performed with his bands Juluka and Savuka. Sometimes called Le Zoulou Blanc ("The White Zulu"), he is an important figure in South African popular music history, with songs that mix Zulu with English lyrics, and African with various Western European (such as Celtic) music styles.
As a young man, in the early stages of his musical career, he combined his music with the study of anthropology, a subject which he also taught for a while at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, where he was influenced, among others, by the work of David Webster, a social anthropologist who was assassinated in 1989.
Clegg formed the first racially mixed South African band, Juluka, with gardener and Zulu musician Sipho Mchunu. Because it was illegal for racially mixed bands to perform in South Africa during the apartheid era, their first album Universal Men received no air play on the state owned SABC, but it became a word-of-mouth hit.
Juluka's / Clegg's music was both implicitly and explicitly political; not only was the fact of the success of the band (which openly celebrated African culture in a bi-racial band) a thorn in the flesh of a political system based on racial separation, the band also produced some explicitly political songs. For example, the album "Work for All" (which includes a song with the same title) picked up on South African trade union slogans in the mid-80's. Even more explicit was the later Savuka album Third World Child in 1987, with songs like "Asimbonanga" ("We haven't seen him"), which called for the release of Nelson Mandela, and which called out the names of three representative martyrs of the South African liberation struggle - Steve Biko, Victoria Mxenge, and Neil Aggett.
As a result, Clegg and other band members were arrested several times and concerts routinely broken up.
Johnny Clegg and his band often make an international tour during May–August (South African winter). However, the tours are usually limited to France and surrounding countries. In June 2004, Johnny Clegg toured North America for the first time in over eight years, doing 22 concerts in one month. Even though they had no albums for sale in North America during those eight years, and no significant media coverage, they filled most of their venues.
Clegg returned to North America with his band in July 2005, with dates booked throughout the U.S. and Canada. His new album One Life was remixed at Real World Studios in Bath, England, and released on October 30, 2006 in the UK.
In 2008 Clegg's son, Jesse Clegg, displaying a style markedly different from that of his father, released his debut album called "When I Wake Up". As a rock musician the younger Clegg has quickly built up a following, with the album being nominated for two South African Music Awards.
Johnny Clegg will tour Europe and North America in 2011
