Viva is a 2007 American comedy-drama film directed by Anna Biller. It's a faithful homage to sexploitation films from the 1960s and 1970s, but with a feminist twist. The film has received mixed reactions, and "illustrates cinema’s unique ability to blend high and low culture."Viva premiered at the Rotterdam Film Festival in 2007. It was also entered into the main competition at the 29th Moscow International Film Festival.Viva was released on DVD by Cult Epics on Feb. 24, 2009.
Viva was an adult woman's magazine that premiered in 1973 and ceased publication in 1980. Its full title was Viva, The International Magazine For Women, and it was published by Bob Guccione and his wife, Kathy Keeton. Guccione was the editor of Penthouse, an adult men's magazine, and he wanted to publish a companion title for women. Viva was essentially an erotic magazine for women, containing articles and fiction delving into women’s fantasies, and exploring their sexuality, reviews of the arts, interviews with known personalities, fashion and beauty, etc.
Viva magazine usually exhibited photography containing male full frontal nudity and sexual encounters targeted at mature female readers. Among the photographers whose work appeared in Viva was Helmut Newton, who was lured there by Anna Wintour, the magazine's fashion editor. Wintour also worked with Denis Piel before he worked under contract with Vogue.

This is a list of fictional factions in Revelation Space. The human factions are found in the Revelation Space universe, the setting for a series of stories and novels by Welsh author Alastair Reynolds.
Spacefaring humanity is divided among these four main factions. While each of these factions has its roots in the Solar System, they have spread with humans to multiple other star systems. Demarchists controlled most major colony worlds, including Yellowstone, until the introduction of the Melding Plague. Conjoiners inhabited hollowed out asteroids on system peripheries, called Nests, before the move to the central Mother Nest in the Yellowstone system during the Conjoiner-Demarchist war. Ultras prefer living aboard the massive lighthugger ships, and are generally uncomfortable on terrestrial worlds. Skyjacks are comet and asteroid miners.
An ultra-prominent peak, or Ultra for short, is defined as a mountain summit with a topographic prominence of 1,500 metres (4,921 ft) or more. There are approximately 1,515 such peaks on Earth. Some are famous even to non-climbers, such as Mount Everest, Aconcagua, and Denali (the top three by prominence), while others are much more obscure. Some famous peaks, such as the Matterhorn and Eiger, are not Ultras because they are connected to higher mountains by high cols and therefore do not achieve enough topographic prominence.
The term "Ultra" is due to earth scientist Stephen Fry, from his studies of the prominence of peaks in Washington in the 1980s. His original term was "ultra major mountain", referring to peaks with at least 5,000 ft (1,524 m) of prominence.
Currently, 1,515 Ultras have been identified worldwide: 637 in Asia, 355 in North America, 209 in South America, 119 in Europe (including the Caucasus), 84 in Africa, 69 in Australasia and 39 in Antarctica.
The King of Fighters fighting game series, produced by SNK Playmore, includes a wide cast of characters, some of which are taken from other SNK games. The story takes place in a fictional universe in which an annual series of 3-on-3 or 4-on-4 fighting tournaments are held.
The first game in the series introduces the initial main character of the series, Kyo Kusanagi, a young Japanese fighter who is the heir to a powerful group of martial artists having pyrokinetic abilities. Kyo fights against the Kusanagi clan's enemies, his rival Iori Yagami, and the god Orochi and its human followers, among others. The first four games in the series revolve about these fights, while The King of Fighters '99 introduces a new story arc, revolving around K′, a young man who seeks to destroy the mysterious NESTS organization because they kidnapped him at an early age and stripped him of his past memories, so that they could force him to be a fighter under their control. In The King of Fighters 2003, a new character named Ash Crimson enters the tournament, to steal the powers of the clans who sealed the Orochi in the past for an unknown reason. A new group of antagonists, known as Those From the Past, also appears in the series; they want to obtain Orochi's power for the purpose of giving it to their unknown master.

She's my lifeblood, she's my secret share
Always been around this place
And when I call her it's not long before
She comes to where I'm calling from
Do I hate her?
Do I know her just to hate what she does?
Are you jealous of the show we put on
Are you wary? Is there justice?
Is there something which resembles pleasure?
And are you mammals?
Do you eat and drink the same as we do?
Oh, it's okay, not to say
Is there time still? Time to forage
For a decent dinner here where we've settled
Where we've come to call the new century in
And when I wake up, I do not ask her
If she know just where we lay ourselves
It's better that way and so it's this way
That we start our day to day
