I bought these pencils recently and i think they are the best pencils i have ever owned!! They have that unique feel while drawing. and they can be used to make an even tone so easily.

i recently bought a new brand of watercolor paper and tried my new derwent pencils on them. I was amazed how well they perform on this paper. all drawbacks of those pencils just vanished here and gave a bright and glowing result.
Drawing by derwent artists pencils on watercolor paper (200 gsm) i have used prismacolor pencil for those violet prints on bright areas.
Time taken -- 4 hours.

First of all I would like to thank each and every one of you for your kind comments on my channel the other day, curtesy of my good friend Marty Owings of http://owingsart.com. Also I must apologise for the length of time it has taken me to add my first review video to the channel, it can be really quite daunting trying to make a video whereby helping others chose decent art supplies.
When I first started out drawing and understanding just how important art can be with regards to helping with depression etc, I purchased these Derwent Artist Coloured Pencils. Derwent is the name of the pencil company here in the UK, incidentally they are located not too far from where I live. Derwent have a fantastic range of coloured pencils and other amazing art materials, the brand is growing all the time and the same must be said of the quality.
The Derwent Artist Colored Pencil is what I and many others have called, "Derwents all round work horse pencil" Although they are a wax based pencil, they hold a point very well and are therefore excellent for detailed work. Their blending capability is also excellent and works well along side solvents such as Zest.
Thank you all so much for your support and I promise as time goes on to improve my video quality content.

i recently bought a new brand of watercolor paper and tried my new derwent pencils on them. I was amazed how well they perform on this paper. all drawbacks of those pencils just vanished here and gave a bright and glowing result.

First of all I would like to thank each and every one of you for your kind comments on my channel the other day, curtesy of my good friend Marty Owings of http://owingsart.com. Also I must apologise for the length of time it has taken me to add my first review video to the channel, it can be really quite daunting trying to make a video whereby helping others chose decent art supplies.
When I first started out drawing and understanding just how important art can be with regards to helping with depression etc, I purchased these Derwent Artist Coloured Pencils. Derwent is the name of the pencil company here in the UK, incidentally they are located not too far from where I live. Derwent have a fantastic range of coloured pencils and other amazing art materials, the brand is growing all the time and the same must be said of the quality.
The Derwent Artist Colored Pencil is what I and many others have called, "Derwents all round work horse pencil" Although they are a wax based pencil, they hold a point very well and are therefore excellent for detailed work. Their blending capability is also excellent and works well along side solvents such as Zest.
